I ordered the giant shrimp and steak with a baked potato. The plate came (server was terrific, not her fault) and there on the plate was two hairs. They take the plate (I had not even touched it) and came back, set the identical plate in front of me with the same food with the hair wiped off. Nasty. I ate some shrimp, picked at the potato, couldn't touch the steak. The server said the manager would come talk to me. That never happened either. We stood in line a good 20 to 25 minutes waiting to order in the beginning so my food was paid for and that's what they cared about. I spend a lot of money eating out and live nearby. Never again. I'm disgusted. BTW, my husband cannot stand in a line for that length of time, he has neuropathy in his feet. Just bad all around. We're done. read more

Don't know why I haven't been there in 4 years but we went there Saturday and it was really good. Paid almost $30 for the classic trio+ salad bar+ soda and it was so delicious and good for the price .. our waitress was so nice and friendly, really good service thanks Zi! Dang, I ate at 2 Sizzlers within a week. While staying in Utah, we found Sizzlers and decided to dine here. Order at the counter, pay, then have a seat. Our server was nice, and so were all the workers. I had the steak and AYCE shrimp. The toast is always so good, and to my surprise, the steak was also good. Pretty good size restaurant, and they were busy. Whenever I'm in a town that has a Sizzlers, I'll definitely dine there. read more

Anthony is the best server. We always come back for him. Years ago we had someone else and my steak was messed up. She didn't even check on us. My husband went to ask for a box and he was the one there. He's like what's wrong? How can I fix it. We're like we're fine and he's love no it's not. He won't above and beyond to fix a table not his and we have requested him ever sense. Everyone loves him. He is a delight. He goes above and beyond for everyone. We've not even seen a sizzler in years so we stopped in. The place seems clean and the employees were terrific. I recommend the awesome raspberry Rickey.! They upsold my husband onions and mushrooms on his steak. $3 each?! We did the steak and lobster to share and that was the tiniest tail I've ever seen lol. Looked more like a crawdad. And overcooked. Just had lunch(?) at this Sizzler and was SHOCKED at what I received. I ordered the Hibachi chicken. In the past, it would have come with a veggie AND a baked potatoe. Not any more! You choose one. OK, times are different. But what came floored me. The chicken was about 2 inches by maybe 2 1/2 inches! Itty bitty. You couldn't see the chicken under the pineapple wedge that was on it. And the handful of broccoli was also sad. NOT WORTH THE COST!!! My husband got the salad bar and had PLENTY to eat. I felt like I had a mini starter. The server was nice, it was clean, my husband's salad bar was good, that's the ONLY reason I'm giving 2 stars. Stay for the nostalgia, leave after a few bites of the food! I was legit pumped to come here and didn't bother to read any of the online reviews. I wish I did but oh well, lesson learned. I remember coming here as a kid in Chicagoland with my grandparents and parents a few decades ago. So when we passed by I was "No way". After passing by 6-8 times over several days, we came here for lunch on Wednesday. I was actually kinda shocked at the prices of some of the items especially since I thought the salad bar was included in all entrees. Nope. I did their Steak Sandwich - medium rare w fries and the salad bar. A waitress seats you and brings you your drinks. The elements for the salad was fine, the taco meat for the hard shells tacos was greasy and gross. The sandwich itself was ok as the bread felt like it was previously frozen and the fries were super salty. Fast forward to the soft serve ice cream and it's runny. I didn't appreciate some long haired male worker running his fingers through his locks without gloves and touching some of the plastic cups to be given to customers. Also for some odd reason, the floor was a little greasy. Thank god there are better steak places than this nostalgic joint. read more

Upping my review since this visit the wilting lettuce issue has been resolved. Angelimar did an excellent job serving us and brought a double helping of cheese bread so we didn't have to ask for later. The addition of blueberries as well as strawberry spinach salad with poppyseeds was a good summertime option. read more

Sizzler will always be a fancy dinner for me and now my kids got to enjoy it too. Don't be a snob and think otherwise, it's good food for a great price!! It's also a bit of a step back in time with the decor looking still reminiscent of the 90s but one thing hasn't changed: good service and fast food with great buffet style options at the salad bar (and who can resist their butter toast cut into triangles?!) This location was very clean and that's always hard with buffets but I knew exactly what I was getting: a very affordable delicious meal (took my steak home and used a coupon!) and enjoyed my dinner at the salad bar. There was really good beef for tacos with fixings and I always love the seafood and broccoli mixed salads. The soups were also good, my kids like the clam chowder but it was too thick for me, I enjoyed the Italian wedding soup, the fruit was fresh with watermelon very sweet thou gf the pineapple wasn't very good, the cookies and cream whipped dessert made up for it. Our whole family enjoyed the round tables (rare in American restaurants) where we conversed and enjoyed our dinners together. We will definitely be back! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Went for dinner tonight and it was the worst meal I have had in a long time. Started with ordering. The worker was more interested in texting on his phone while taking our order instead of answering any questions. None of us at the table ate all of our food. The steak was chewy, no seasoning, and more fat than anything. The shrimp tasted like it had been soaked in salt water and put on a plate. The salad bar was lacking because it was not replenished the whole time we were there and it needed to be wiped down something fierce. Will not be returning. Don't spend your money here. My wife's favorite place to eat. This is not a high end steakhouse and the prices also reflect that. But, the food is always great and the salad bar is always fresh. The service is generally really good. Only once did they not have cheese bread :( but it happens I guess. It's not dark and noisy like another steakhouse from Texas. I and my sisters had just finished a great meal, and I went to the buffet for just one more bite..... Well, in that last bite. someone had spat chewing tobacco..... All that good food became instantly nauseating. I reported it to the Waitstaff, but they immediately took the evidence away. I got the manager over to report the "befoulment" of my food and I was disregarded and it was inferred that I was a liar. The Manager came in response to my complaint. Did not get an introduction, so I stated that some tobacco "ash" or something tobacco-based in my food. The Manager instantly inferred I was a liar, stating that his employees do not smoke or use tobacco, so it was impossible that I experienced what I was reporting. He disregarded me out of hand. Now, the Waitstaff was experienced and the Manager was right out of the cradle. Still suffering from severe acne and wearing a green Trainee shirt, they had not imparted knowledge of the job to this Manager. "Befoulment of food" is one of the core responsibilities of a Manager. Since the Manager did not believe my report, the spit-laden food remained on the buffet for the dining enjoyment of those customers that followed. (August 19, 2024 5:30PM) Ambiance: Gross Service: Staff did well until destroying the evidence. Food: It is one of this Manager's practices to not removed tainted food. Sorry, I can never trust them. I am sending love, love, love to this Sizzler. I haven't seen a sizzler in years! This one brought back fond memories from my younger years. We checked in at the front and made our choices. We were seated quickly. The service was 5 stars; outstanding. Our server was prompt, professional, and very kind. We chose steak and unlimited shrimp. When they say unlimited shrimp, they mean unlimited shrimp! Our serve was super quick to replenish our plates with shrimp. The food was decent. It was decent for a chain restaurant.
