Our go to order was always the hummus trio and margaritas. Now that our schedules don't line up with happy hour anymore, we've made Sunday lunches here with family our new tradition. The food is always fresh and delicious. During my pregnancy, I practically lived on the Mediterranean chicken salad, it was one of the only things I craved! Pita Jungle is a great place to eat some delicious Mediterranean food or just good healthy food in general. I typically visit here for lunch and my favorite thing to get is the curry chicken salad. The chicken salad mix is so tasty and the combination of the tumeric brown rice, chicken salad with grapes, and thin fried onions is amazing. I also super enjoyed their paradise green tea. We did start off with the cilantro jalapeño hummus, which is our fav, and other people ordered the shawarma chicken bowl and gyro wrap. The place was not super busy when we arrived and we attended promptly. My order wasn't fully delivered and they couldn't be bothered to even apologize. The girl who answered the phone acted like it was her first day on earth. Said "hold on a sec" & randomly passed me to someone else who told me to come pick it up myself after waiting almost an hour to arrive. If I wanted to drive somewhere for food, it would have been somewhere better from the jump. This is my favorite PJ location. They have a good-sized dining area and also a huge outdoor patio. The service is always great, and the food tastes amazing. My only complaint is that the portion sizes aren't consistent from location to location. I ordered a bowl of the Lemon Chicken Rice Soup, which has marinated chicken, turmeric brown rice, celery, carrots, onions, fresh lemon juice, garnished with fresh arugula, and there was hardly any chicken and rice. It was mostly broth. At several other locations, I have ordered the same thing, and you get a good amount of the chicken and rice. We even ordered takeout on New Year's Eve, and I ordered two "bowls," not cups, of the lemon chicken and rice soup, and when my husband brought the order home, it just was like I ordered two smaller cups. Came in after driving for a few hours, so I got a table and went to the restroom. The urinal was out of order and the stall was very dirty. Luckily, the restaurant was otherwise clean. The waitress was friendly, I ordered the gyro, caramelized cauliflower, and the inflation buster chicken taco. The food took a long time to come out, the cauliflower took 10 minutes and the chicken taco took 25 minutes, with the gyro taking 20 minutes. The food was good, but nothing remarkable. read more

My husband and I used to frequent Pita Jungle when we were younger and dating, but it's been quite some time since we've gone. We were in the area for the Phoenix Art Mueseum and decided to come by to refresh and have a late lunch. We took our seats by the main entrance, Roosevelt, and the vibe was very industrial urban (think NYC June 2009). We got a high chair for our son and ordered their guava lemonades to help us cool down. I love everything Pita Jungle, but I usually lean toward their wraps, and today's was the grilled chicken wrap. The pita is SO fluffy and amazing to bite into. My baby liked the chicken and cucumbers from my wrap and side salad. My husband's go-to order is the chicken del sol. It is savory, citrus, and hearty. If it weren't already 100 degrees outside, this would be my order, too. The plate is circled with pita and cheese that's been toasted and ready to be dipped. Pita Jungle is great! I haven't been in years so I'm glad a friend suggested it for our meetup. Their happy hour is one of the best out there and I'm happy to be reminded of it. Love this location in downtown Phoenix- it's quite spacious inside and we both found parking across the street (parallel). I'm sure it gets busier into the evening so we went at a good time. It wasn't too busy which I prefer and our server was wonderful. We ordered a bunch of tapas and enjoyed every one of them: falafel, chipotle chicken pizza, Mediterranean olives, Garlic Lemon Chicken & Pita Nuts, Fresh Mozzarella & Tomato, and sautéed mushrooms. I went here with my family for Christmas and it was great! Street parking so make sure you read the signs. We ordered the garlic dip to share and it was so tasteful! Very potent, it came with some pita :) Great flavor! Will order again :) I got the lamb burger! I've had lamb before but not as a burger. It was very dense! Flavorful and tasteful but dense for sure. I've been a patron of Pita Jungle since the very beginning, literally the second day they opened at the original Dorsey and Apache location in Tempe, AZ. The traditional humus is still my favorite of all time hands down! Yes, I still eat it regularly after all these years. Today Desirae was my server at the Downtown location. The real joy, however, is the fabulous server Jay. He is THE BEST SERVER IN THE WORLD. No, I am not a relative of his, nor am I trying to have his babies. I am 50 and happily married. I went on a Sunday with my husband, MIL, and my husband's uncle. So basically a bunch of old fogeys. Let me start by saying I really LOVE Pita Jungle, the food is excellent and delish . I stopped by today 07-15-2025 after work for dinner for my husband and I . Holy FXCK , what I witnessed there by 1 particular worker who may have been the the shift lead or sup, not sure . All I heard was a series of F bombs and cussing , moving her arms around as if she was boxing and/or going to hit someone . I can not even believe the owners of this Pita Jungle would even allow such horrible behavior especially in front of customers . I will continue to go to the Park West Pita Jungle as they are professional and way better staff . read more

This is my favorite location! I love the decor, the lighting, and the big windows to look out. Service has been fine every time I come in. It wasn't excellent service, but they definitely do what is right for the customer. Every time I order the Mediterranean chicken salad it's made to perfection. The combination of veggies and dressing is done exactly the same way every time. Consistency is key especially when I only get to eat here once a year.
