This shop definitely doesn't look like much but the service was great! We came in late the day before I had to leave for work travel to get pedicures. The nice couple took us at 5:30 when they closed at 6:30. We didn't feel rushed, they took their time and took care of us. We were so grateful they were able to take us and they did a great job. If you're looking to get your nails done with quality and affordability, look no further! Lee is an exceptional nail ARTIST (gel nails!). Trust me when I say, I've never had gel nails last as long as whenever I get them done here. I do a lot with my hands, so for other places I've gotten gel nails - they'll start chipping after 1.5-2 weeks, pretty standard. But not nails from Lee! These babies lasted a whopping 4 weeks, and then some! They still looked great after a full month and that is how I know Lee has the magic touch/skill. Went in yesterday for a mani / pedi and I was disappointed. They basically did a polish change on my hand and the pedicure was better as the lady massaged my feet but the clean up of the nails was lacking big time. No focus was placed on the dead skin around my nails. I left more dried out than when I came in as they drenched me in acetone. They did a good job on the polish and this is why I gave 3 stars plus the lady and guy were friendly. Maybe I got them when they were tired as I went in the evening. DO NOT GO HERE Worst experience I've ever had. I went in for a fill and a pedicure went to pay the women said no credit cards! I said okay not a problem she said only cash or Zelle I said okay not problem well my husband has my Zelle so I called him to send the money which was $70 and I left a $10 cash tip. He sent me the photo that it went through that the transaction was complete. So I showed the women, working in there, she started yelling at me saying she never received payments and demanding me to call my bank or I couldn't leave! Accusing me of not paying! So I called my bank and had it on speaker phone and of course they said the transaction was complete. That wasn't good enough for her she told me she had to speak to MY BANKER! I was and still am mortified! I know it went through it said completed and so did the bank. Well I tried to leave as I should after I paid and she still wouldn't let me leave she said I have to wait until all transactions are complete it could be up to 30 min to wait! I said I can't wait I already paid and I put my bank on speaker you see on my end the money was sent! I went to go and leave and left my phone number just incase, and she demanded I give her my cell phone and my drivers license! I said absolutely not! Why would I do that! I already paid and left also a cash tip! So I go to leave and the door was locked! She literally locked me in her nail salon! This has been the most traumatic experience I have ever had while getting my nails done! I can't believe how rude and gross this experience turned out to be!! I tried to unlock the door I said I have to go let me out you can't lock the door like this! She refused! I tried again and finally she unlocked it!! I have text and photos to prove everything! Such a terrible experience! I was so excited to find a nice place close for my nails and then I got accused of not paying when in reality I paid and left a tip!!! She texted me right saying thanks she received it! Not "I'm so sorry for locking you in my salon and screaming at you or accusing you!" Thank god this wasn't my daughter! She would've been so scared and upset I would honestly never recommend this place to anyone Horrible I am still shaking and upset I would really like an apology for being locked in this nail place! read more

I called and made an appointment for 2 hours later and they were able to take me in. Street parking is very easy to find in this area. Right when I walked through the door, I saw that they had a table ready for me with the gel color choices on the table. They've got SO MANY colors!! I've been to a lot of nail salons and none had the color variety that they have. Yeah, it's not the cutest nail shop - but it does have the charm of the people who work there. Seriously, still a 5 star ! ! ! I went during my lunch for a gel manicure/pedicure and was in/out in less than an hour. If they know you're pressed for time, they will do their best to accommodate. Plus, they don't let you wait for appointments, if anything, it's less than 5 mins. I'm stroked that I found them! And HAPPY with the service. Getting my nails done is one girly luxury I cannot stop! Lee does my gel manicures and he does it so quick and thorough at the same time. This is the first place ever that my gel manicure lasts 3+ weeks (looks a bit outgrown but who cares!) with no chipping or polish peeling. What's even better is that my nails never get brittle and they don't break :) Tina always does my pedicure really nice but also does the "Quality Check" (it's what I'm calling it) right after Lee finishes. I love my gel manicure and my pedicure! Tina and Lee are quite the team. Both are equally attentive and talented. It's a small salon but that doesn't matter. They are clean and sterilize their tools! Tina prepped my nails very well. Lee painted them after, but before still did a bit more prep which I really appreciated, this is were the attentiveness comes in! He took his time to make sure each layer was even and cover ALL the edges. Tina started on my pedicure and she was quick and gentle. I had a cut on my toe and she was kind enough to put ointment on it :) My mom has been coming here for years and I can see why! Our fave place, EVER! My mom and I used to hop around different places until we found Olive, now we have been regulars here for a little over a year. What we like most is the fact that they're so efficient and quick, yet very detailed. Most nail salons will have you in the chair for up to an hour, but not here. Lee does the BEST gels in town and at such a low price compared to everywhere else. The best part is.... the gels actually LAST! I can have mine on for up to two weeks with zero chipping, it's seriously unbelievable. Don't be fooled by negative reviews. Tina and Lee are very kind and very good at what they do. This place is humble, and that's what we love so much about it. No frills, no bells and whistles. They're genuinely very skilled people who will have your nails ON POINT! The only slight thing I'd change is, I would love to see them add new gel colors to their lineup. That being said, their selection is vast so I know I'll always find something I like but you can never have too many options. I think I've found my new go-to nail place. You cannot beat these prices. On top of that, my nails look amazing for once!!! I'd give five stars if the salon was a little more well kept and updated, but I think that comes with keeping prices low. You can't have both and I understand that. Sometimes you want to go to a salon for the feeling of the "spa" experience. You don't get that here but service is fast and clean and your nails will look great. Heard about this place from my boss and I'm so glad I came!! They are the best! You can tell they take pride in their work and they want to make sure you are happy with the results. And at such a reasonable price. They had called me that morning asking if I could come in half an hour early but I couldn't. I later found out it was because someone else had called that morning for an appointment. But since I couldn't come in earlier, they had to refuse the other person. Now most people would try to still cram that person in to get the extra business even if that means delaying the rest of the appointments and making customers mad because they have to wait despite having an appointment. Found this gem of a nail salon in my neighborhood! I called last-minute to prepare for Valentine's weekend, and they were able to get me in quickly. It's a mom-and-pop salon and they work so well together. The man did my manicure while the lady did my pedicure. They were proactive with Covid precautions - there wore masks and face shields, put plastic screens in between them and me, and put plastic wrap on the chair. They were very friendly and patient (I usually take forever to choose a color!). I got a gel mani and regular pedi for $40, which is very decent. The lady gave an amazing foot massage before the pedicure, much longer and better than other places that do it only for a minute or two, if at all. I will definitely be coming back! read more
