The food is just so delicious, I have loved everything I've ever tried here. I always start with a side Caesar salad. I love their homemade Caesar dressing. Their homemade croutons are addictive. I sometimes ask for extra just because I love crunching into them. Tonight I got the gnocchi alla vodka and added meatballs. Those meatballs are so big, they are a meal in themselves. The vodka sauce is definitely one of my favorites around. So creamy and has a lot of flavor. The gnocchi were tender and I couldn't stop popping them in my mouth. We enjoyed a glass of wine with dinner, which helps complete the Italian atmosphere. Surrounded by good friends, delicious wine and great tasting food, what more could you want?!

They now started selling it by the jar to take home! We started with calamari and mozzarella sticks, for the main, my husband always orders the tortellini di leo and I had the carbonara. All of the dishes were so flavorful and portions are large. One thing to note is that they don't take reservations, so expect a wait if you go around their peak dinner time (around 6pm). Worth the wait though!

It is our go to spot at least three times a month we absolutely love everyone they are from the owner Francesco to Ben the other chef they put so much effort into their food and what quality it is absolutely delicious. The specials on the weekend are outrageous and very well priced , the staff is absolutely incredible. If you have not tried Francesco's in Maitland I highly recommend you do I guarantee you will not be disappointed . Everything is magnificent and so fresh made to order right there . Go try it it is a great atmosphere also so much fun every time we go and never disappointed. I am so upset on this review that I cannot leave photos of the food because every time we go we take a photo of the food the portions are huge you always have left over to bring home . Thank you Francesco's for such Fine Food and a great price .

We had a later reservation, but the restaurant was still packed and lively! The food was fantastic as a whole. Bread service, great. We got a half order of regular mussels and half order of spicy mussels (spicy was my fav of the two). House salad comes with a great balsamic dressing. All of the dinners were authentic, large portioned, and reasonably priced for the quality of the meal. The only real average portion of the meal was the side of meatballs, but I may be partial (my grandmother is Italian and makes homemade meatballs that cannot be beat ). The desserts were also phenomenal - we got a pistachio cake and a lemon cake. Couldn't decide which I liked better. Only feedback for this fantastic meal was....they had a fun live singer/italian band that went from table to table. As fun as it was, they were so so so loud that it was difficult to talk at your table if they were singing anywhere near you in the restaurant. All in all, 5/5! A must try.

I can no longer run over for produce or some proteins for dinner. I happily supported them over Publix for years. The shelving areas have been cut in half. The wine cooler is no more (granted it hasn't cooled properly in quite awhile). One of the best parts of Antonio's downstairs was being able to grab a bottle of reasonably priced wine with the $5 cork fee but the Prosecco we've enjoyed for years has increased over $5 a bottle plus that cork fee... not the deal we've had in the past. They did add a happy hour downstairs... that ends at 5pm. Catering to retirees maybe? The restaurant space is more open due to the downsizing of the market. The service is not the same though most of the staff seems happy to be there. I know things can't stay the same forever but super bummed about this one. I guess I should just be grateful for the years we had with the original.

So, I cannot speak to the decor or ambiance of their OWN space. Usually, a friend of mine orders from them, and we dine in the bar area of Packwoods. I will definitely give them a proper visit to really sit and dine in their space, as well as order something from their menu. Until then, my surface-level experiences have been good.

We showed up at 1145 not knowing it opened at noon. (We thought this was odd as most lunch places would be open earlier but ok). When we approached the entrance to ask to use the restroom while we waited, the hostess slammed the iron sliding doors in my husbands face.... Yet we waited. Should've left. Once we sat down the vibe was weird. They were still making the fresh dough on the dining tables (?) and it truly felt like they are not used to having people there during business hours. Once we sat down and ordered: we asked for the meatballs which they said are still frozen and would take a long time. We ordered bread service and burratta. Burrata was good. We ordered a specialty pizza with sausage and mushrooms. I can't remember the name and it was small. Almost personal sized. That's fine but the waitress could have given us a heads up. We saw another walk in order a pizza that was much larger so when I asked her if the specialty pizzas were of a different size she simply said they're all the same size. Which was obviously not true. The pizza again was fine. Then we finally ordered the meatballs and as it had been near an hour since we arrived. awe saw the cook start working on them but they never brought them out and also didn't mention it afterward. The staff was scrolling on their phones to the point where when we were trying to get the waitresses attention to get the check because we were over it and the cook had to get the waitresses attention. It was like the two locations were separate restaurants. Why did we feel like we were inconveniencing them to pay for their offerings? One of the worst dining experiences we had in a very long time.

However, I must express my disappointment with the overall experience. The menu, while seemingly promising, fell short of expectations. While I would be willing to elaborate on the specific dishes that did not meet my standards, it would be excessive. The staff was a mix of friendly and unprofessional. One of the male staff with long hair displayed poor decorum when we entered the dining area, making the experience uncomfortable. Furthermore, the staff engaged in unnecessary conversations from a distance, as if the restaurant were deserted. While the inside section was relatively empty and we were the only client in the interior area, this did not deter the staff from running around and acting as if they were late or overworked. The overall experience was uncomfortable. In contrast, our waitress was exceptionally pleasant and attentive. Despite our lack of interaction, she continued to engage in conversation with me while completely ignoring my husband. It is unclear whether this was due to my Caucasian appearance and my husband's African American background, or if there was another reason. However, it was evident that they were solely interested in hearing my opinions and orders.

Acknowledging Outstanding Service at Antonio's!!…read more Antonio's has always been a place I enjoy, but the people truly make the experience special. I recently heard that Tim, the manager, is leaving, and I wanted to take a moment to recognize what an incredible job he has done. Tim consistently demonstrated outstanding customer service--welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making every guest feel valued. His leadership set the tone for a warm, professional, and friendly environment that kept customers coming back. I also want to highlight Quentin, who has been an amazing server every time I've visited. Quentin is attentive, kind, and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. It's rare to find service that is both efficient and genuinely caring, and Quentin delivers that every time. Antonio's is more than just great food--it's the experience created by people who care.
