One of the best parts of Antonio's downstairs was being able to grab a bottle of reasonably priced wine with the $5 cork fee but the Prosecco we've enjoyed for years has increased over $5 a bottle plus that cork fee... not the deal we've had in the past. They did add a happy hour downstairs... that ends at 5pm. Catering to retirees maybe? The restaurant space is more open due to the downsizing of the market. The service is not the same though most of the staff seems happy to be there. I know things can't stay the same forever but super bummed about this one. We saw another walk in order a pizza that was much larger so when I asked her if the specialty pizzas were of a different size she simply said they're all the same size. Which was obviously not true. Then we finally ordered the meatballs and as it had been near an hour since we arrived. awe saw the cook start working on them but they never brought them out and also didn't mention it afterward. The staff was scrolling on their phones to the point where when we were trying to get the waitresses attention to get the check because we were over it and the cook had to get the waitresses attention. It was like the two locations were separate restaurants. Why did we feel like we were inconveniencing them to pay for their offerings? One of the worst dining experiences we had in a very long time.
