Loved this place on 3 previous visits, but was very disappointed this evening. Fish was dry and chewy, clams were so chewy they were inedible, and the scallops smelled and tasted fishy, also inedible. The only good thing was the tartar sauce. When you pay $30 for 2 baskets and a cup of chowder, dinner should be outstanding. Will not be returning. read more

I was pleasantly surprised to find this little restaurant had delicious and fresh food. I got the lunch special (fish and chips with chowder). The fish was fresh, the fries were cooked to perfection and the chowder had amazing flavor. Plus the staff was very friendly! All for a very reasonable price! I'll be coming back for sure. read more

The food here is great. Deliciously battered fish, tasty fries, and a tartar sauce to write home about. Graham needed this. This restaurant's owners also own Amici (which I rate poorly), but they hit a home run with this place. For those that are local, this is a great alternative to Ivar's. I'm an Ivar's fan, but this competes very closely. The service was very good, staff friendly and although fast food type place, they still checked with you to see how things were. Food was very good, had the clam chowder, excellent, and the 3 piece cod basket. Fish was full portions not pieces. Fries are natural cut. All very good. We also had the popcorn shrimp, which was tasty. Place is clean and reasonably priced. Definitely will be back. read more

If you enjoy gravy like clam chowder and okay tasting fish and chips, Olivers is the place for you. Unfortunately as mediocrely delicious asOliver's was, my dad was barely able to make it home without having a "belly issue". The other 4 of our digestive systems were smoothly running. I'd suggest asking about the special because we didn't see anything referring to the special, but apparently everyone else in the restaurant got the special except us and it looked real good. Now, six hours later, I'm still pretty bummed we didn't see the special sign (because there wasn't one). I must add, the customer service was supreme, so that was a bonus. Looking back at my experience at Olivers, it was an ok environment, with ok food, and fantastic family bonding time. So Oli, the weiner dog will welcome you with a smirk and a wink. read more

This is a new restaurant in Graham and it's fantastic. Their New England clam chowder is better than chowder I've had in both Boston and Maine. Super friendly owners and delicious chowder bread bowl and fish & chips. Definitely worth the stop in should seafood sound good to you! read more

I came here with my granddaughter it wasn't busy at all I should've known??? I ordered the seafood plate..... well everything kinda sucked. The oyster' s were awful they tasted funny..the clams well what clams it was all batter??? A little expensive for what I actually got. Would've been worth it if it was better.I will try them one more time sometime to give them a second chance it could've just been a bad day. read more

Stopped in Saturday night after reading about the place in the TNT. It's a bit of a drive for us but the food was good enough that we will be back. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. The only drawback is that it's a fairly small restaurant. If it stays as busy as it was last night they may find themselves looking for a bigger place soon. read more

Decided to try this place after looking at all the positive Yelp reviews. Food was delicious and hit the spot. I got the fish tacos and my wife got the fish sandwich--yummy!! They have GF options! (Their fryer is shared so if you are super sensitive be aware of that) this alone I could almost give them 5 stars...I've missed really fish and chips! I wish there were half star options on here. I would give this place 4 1/2 stars if I could. Clam chowder was delicious! Better than Ivars in my opinion and I am a pretty big fan on Ivars clam chowder. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The fish was deep fried perfectly! I don't like my fish having to much batter on them, and these have the smallest coat so they were still crunchy but you mostly tasted fish. Decided to go after seeing the good review in The News Tribune. I got the 3 piece cod fish and chips. It was cooked perfectly and the breeding wasn't mushy and greasy and tasted great. The fries were good and the tartar sauce was really good. My girlfriend got the fish tacos and those were great also. Have been back a few times and plan to go back again. Oliver's is now my go to place for fish and clam chowder. I've only eaten the cod but it is incredibly good with great taste and always cooked perfectly. Their clam chowder is of their own creation and tastes wonderful. The bacon puts it over the top. The staff are incredibly friendly and courteous. read more

My husband an I have eaten here on average once a month for the past 3 years and have never been disappointed. Our favorites are the Wild Salmon Basket and the Clam Chowder. The place is always clean and the staff are friendly. We only live a few minutes away and usually call in our order and pick it up 10 minutes later. We have eaten in Seattle at much more expensive and highly rated fish & chip places and found that the food at Oliver's is as good or better than most of them. read more

I was happy to see gluten free options, fish was nicely fried an delish, but the fries were a bit dark. We were welcomed as soon as we stepped in the door. Conner welcomed us liked we were family an almost like he was expecting us happy we finally arrived, even though I have never been there before. it was so refreshing to see such an enthusiastic an cheerful person, almost rare to see these days. He was able to answer all my questions an when I enquired about the slaw, he offered a sample, an explained about the pineapple,it was excellent slaw that I would not have tried without the sample. Great cod sandwich and awesome fish and chips! Good price for a good portion of food. Not something you'd expect way out here but it is definitely a diamond in the rough. The quality is better than Ivars, in my opinion, and tastes like this place should be up on Alki Beach or on the Pier in Seattle. Fresh Alaskan cod, and halibut I believe. We love Oliver's! The food is always tasty and consistent. The fish is cooked to perfection with a great, light coating that is never greasy. The clam chowder is very good. This place is a hidden treasure. A little unassuming joint in a strip mall, but packs a great punch. I went there and ordered the halibut and chips (to go) and my food was made to order (quickly too). Open kitchen and very clean. Food was very fresh. They make their fries correctly as evidenced by then act when I got home 10 minutes later both them and the fish were still perfectly crispy. Flavor was awesome, did not even need salt. Chowder was also on point. Not the cheapest, but a great value especially considering the quality of the food. I will definitely be back. read more
