The first time I came was a much better experience... we should have taken the heath department rating of "okay" into thought more. Self serve pay by the ounce is good in theory, but it is a bit on the more expensive side. The place wasn't busy and the tables were clean. The food is a little more on the spendier side, to upgrade from chips to fries it's $5. I ordered the pizza and it was fine, not bad. My friend got the fish and chips and said the fish was odd and mushy and didn't finish it. She ended up sick that night and calling out of work the next day. Overall it was okay like their rating, but getting sick that evening is definitely not the best.

We've stopped by twice so far and for the most part it has been the same consistent service, food and ambiance. We've only come here with our dogs so not sure how different the experience is when you just dine in inside as you have to sit outside when you bring your dogs. However, they have large hanging parasols and outside heaters (have to ask an employee to turn it on) so you can enjoy coming by any time which I appreciate as some restaurants only allow dogs during the summer. Once you find a spot to sit at, there is a number on the table which you use to order online to have food brought out for you. They have quite a variety for food and have menus for kids and dogs too! Additionally, they do have complimentary popcorn that you can go and get yourself with plenty of different salt toppings. You also get your own water and can get a water bowl and water for your dogs too. They usually have a rock and alternative playlist playing at a decent volume where you can hold a conversation. Service is non-existent for the most part as you only see them when they bring an order but so far the interactions we've had with employees are professional and friendly. We have had the Wings and drummies (black truffle), plant based burger, and Carnivore pizza so far. The food is just decent pub food. Our Carnivore pizza barely had any smoked ham (see provided picture) unfortunately. Our fur babies have had the cluck, cluck and TV dinner so far and they absolutely enjoy their food. Our boy especially leaves no crumbs or leftovers for both his plate and his sister's plate. I definitely want them to try the dog beer and other items on the dog menu. They have good daily specials, lunch specials ($15 for a personal pizza and choice of Caesar or garden salad), and more. I would definitely recommend joining their rewards program too, it is free!

Super fun place. It's very a boisterous sports bar with a fun party atmosphere. The food was amazing: great pizza, great wings (although they could have had a couple of hotter sauce choices), and tots! Our server was fast and friendly. The drinks can get pricy if you're not watching yourself. They issue you a a credit-like card and you insert the card into the slot of the beverage you choose and you can pour as much or as little as you like. It's a great concept as long as you have a little self control

Came on a whim to try something new. 1.5 hours till closing but we were told to order quickly as kitchen closing. Ordered fish filet sandwich. House chips to go with it. Not impressed with the food. More bun and coleslaw than fish. Chips were ok. Came with a pickle, this was fine as well. Ordered a can of sprite, tasted fine. Several families, jukebox blaring random music and seating was picnic table style we sat at. I did like you could bring your dog and sit outside. They host many choices of you pour taps but I was the driver so not interested. Had a shelf with games for families to play. Where parents could drink their beer and kids could play. Cute place, but was not impressed with the food portion. Honestly would not be interested in returning. But that's ok not every place will be a good fit.

We are a bit of a regular at the Tacoma location, so we had to visit The Redd Dog in Puyallup. Honestly think there is a bigger selection here than the Tacoma location, but the space is about the same. Although, I do have to say there is more people here on a regular weekday than the Tacoma location. Overall, will continue to visit! Just be aware of the weekday traffic. From where we live, it took us about 35 minutes to get through on a Thursday night.

I really enjoy The Redd Dog. It's trendy, the drinks are great, and the food is pretty good too. It's a blast to sit on their outdoor patio on a nice semi warm day and kick back while enjoying a beverage. They allow dogs but I'm not sure if they only permit them outside or not. Service is pretty good too.

I've been to Redd Dog twice but it's something about the second round that isn't the same as the first, and it's hard to put my finger on why. Possibly due to the company I kept or the particular day of the week I decided to go. Or, you can't teach an old dog new tricks! See what I did there? Hahah. To the experience! The Cheez pizza is my favorite, for some reason. My choices this time around--the Big Red and the Rad Dog--were passable. I still had a blast with my friends. U-Pour saves a lot of money and is very easy to use. Out of all the Puyallup venues, The Redd Dog is one of the best!

Took my rescue dog to the Redd Dogg for her first lunch out in the world. She did amazing! The atmosphere was very laid back, the food was lovely, and the service was very friendly. They even had a pup section on the menu, and brought her a special treat too. Felt like we were both welcome to be there, almost like visiting the kind of friend that you don't have to even talk to. Highly recommend.

Me and my fiancé were very excited for Red Dogg to open up right near us! The atmosphere is lively and fun. They have good drink selections and good food. Our only complaint is the customer service. When we first went back in February the service was amazing and the employees were attentive. However in March we visited twice. On a Sunday and on a Saturday. When we went on Sunday it was pretty busy and we order wings and tots. They say it'll only take 30 minutes to get our food but we only got our wings. So after 45 minutes of waiting for our tots I went up front to ask how much longer, and the lady told me they'd be up any time now. We waited another 15 minutes until it was an hour now waiting for these tots so I asked a server passing by if she happened to know how much longer it'd be. She informed me that she'd have to put the order in now (even though we already paid and ordered it) and that it'd be another 10 minutes of waiting. We kindly asked to just take it off the check since we had been waiting so long already. Fast forward the following week on Saturday we invited friends with us since we really like the place. When you walk in there's a sign that says they service cocktails and to ask about it. So me and a friend did. The lady up front knew nothing about it and when we asked what cocktails they have she said they only have the hard liquor behind her and we can purchase a canned drink from their fridge to make a cocktail? Weird but okay. Well the girl was new so we didn't hold it against her and asked another worker. Which she then told us they have a peach mojito on tap -- which was also a cider, not hard liquor, but whatever. Anyways when we went to go check out we had gotten a case of dog treats and we asked for a single treat in the jar by the register, and it seemed like self serve once you pay. So my fiancé grabbed a treat and the worker very rudely said "well next time don't do that and I will take it out with tongs". Like okay? Take it out when we ask for it then? So weird. The place has a lot of potential. Good vibes, food and drinks but the workers make it hard to return.

Say bruh, lemme tell you about this place right quick! I stumbled across this place by accident and I'm blown away!!!!! First off, you get to serve YOUR OWN BEER!!!!! Secondly, they have soooooo many different options!!!!! Thirdly, they serve food. Need I say more???? The atmosphere was sublime, the service was very friendly (and tbh really gorgeous) I legit have no complaints and will most definitely be back.

We ordered a double kraut & mustard meal- which was as it should be, fries were ok, but it was the Polish sandwich that was reminiscent of childhood kolbassy sandwiches in Pittsburgh. The flavorful slightly spicy sausage had very little fat, it was sliced in half, served on thick slices of soft rye seeded bread, with a thin layer of mustard, slice of cheese and a crisp dill pickle. It was heavenly- I'm sorry that I didn't snap a photo. I just read online that they are known for the shakes- which no doubt we would've also enjoyed. Decided to give this one a second chance as the first time was meh. We pulled in, there was no one in the drive through and one other car in a stall. That's it. So we push the button. Nothing happens. We wait, 3min still waiting. So I push the button again. Still waiting and now we are at 7min. So I hit the button again and I hear "I heard you the first time stop pushing the button". Not what I expected to hear as always it's "Welcome to Sonic how can I help you". So we order. Remember only 2 cars in the whole place and they left after we ordered. It was a normal 3 burgers, tots, chicken strip things, 4 drinks. And when I asked if there was any chance of getting our food soon I got dead silence. About 5min. later out comes the runner. They hand us the drinks and bags of food and spin and take off. Not "do you need anything else etc..." just gone. We check the food, it was missing 2 tots and the burgers were stone cold. Kinda hard to believe because it took so long I would have thought they had butchered the cow and made fresh burger patties and cooked them on the spot. NOPE! These looked like a day old hockey puck. Slathered in what ever they put on to hide the fact these were not fresh cooked. I again hit the button (I guess I have a death wish), I got "Now what?" I said the food is cold and we are missing 2 tots. The response I got was amazing "Everything was in the bags when we sent it out, it was all hot and fresh", so I asked can you please refire the order and bring out fresh please? Good policy to avoid getting scammed. Needless to say I dumped all the food in the trash and we headed down the street to eat and another place with better service and food.
