I'd give 4 star based on quantity of seafood but I'm going down due to few factors. The prices to portion ratio, paid $32 for 2 baskets & 1 fruit lemonade. We order the small 2-pc fish/fry$12.5, Cajun shrimp/fry$15 & blackberry lemonade $3.5. Both seafoods were fresh, flavorful and moist w/light crisp beer batter. Both were small sized & portions. Shrimp tasted more like chili powder seasoning than a true spicy Cajun but still enjoyed. The fries weren't crisp, asked for one basket to be extra cook...at least it had signs of golden unlike my albino soft fries. Sad because the tarter is great. The slaw was nice portion finely shredded but no ginger dressing to be detected, just raw cabbage mix, ugh. The blackberry lemonade was good but if blind folded I doubt I'd taste any berry which was odd because you could see it. So for these hiccups I personally couldn't score a 4. Kudos to all the nice tent seating, the line was long so obviously they have a following. For $32 we sadly weren't very impressed overall.

It's ALWAYS a treat to eat fish and chips from this fish truck! They are in four different Pierce County locations Tuesday-Friday 11:00 am -- 2:00 pm Tuesday -- Milton; Wednesday -- Sterino Farms (Puyallup); Thursday -- Edgewood; and Friday in Sumner. I try to schedule appointments in Puyallup on Wednesday so I can have an excuse to swing by Sterino Farms to shop for fresh produce and eat fish & chips! There is a covered eating area at Sterino Farms. Not only is the food delicious but there is a feeling of genuine hospitality. They take the time to ask how your day is going and chat for a few seconds. I rarely spend money on drinks, but I do recommend the lemonade -- it's really, really good! Edit: there is ALWAYS a line! Wait times are long. I almost always go to the Puyallup location. I've been to Sumner once and the line was reasonable. I've yet to discover the "best time" to go.

    Yummy 3-piece fish and chips!

Long lines tell a story...if you love good fish and chips, I highly recommend this food truck! Delicious and worth the wait.

Great food, cozy location. I recommend getting the Fish taco or if your more into seafood, try the shrimp taco.

Really good food truck worth tracking down and stinking your car up for. Staff was cordial and service was quick despite the line.

This restaurant opened pretty recently near the waterfront. I was a bit unsure on what to expect -…read morebecause on one hand it felt like a classic overpriced spot targeting tourists looking for fish, but on the other side Tom Douglas has opened a lot of pretty good places across the city. I had the fish and chips, which are three pieces of Alaskan cod - coming with fries, tartar sauce, and ketchup. These were seriously awesome. I have to first talk about the beer batter on the outside, which has a phenomenal crunch. It's craggly and crunchy in the best of ways - with a consistent crispiness across the entire fish for every piece. I don't think I've ever had a crunch this good on fish and chips. The oil is clearly fresh, and it's served with basically no delay from the frying. I also loved the cod inside. It's super moist and flaky. Obviously, the fish doesn't have a lot of fat, but it makes up for it with a disappearing texture where you barely even need to bite through. They've clearly gotten the formula right on the fish. If that wasn't enough, the fries were easily the best I've ever had with fish and chips. They were hot, thick, and fluffy - a perfect combination that led to delicious results. The portion on these was great as well. If I had one complaint, the tartar sauce wasn't very good. It felt like it was missing both fat and acid, and tasted closer to ranch than what I was expecting a tartar sauce to be. I just didn't end up using it for the fish. Yes, this is pricey. The 3-piece order cost me $26 before tax/tip. That's quite expensive - despite a solid portion size. Is this the best fish and chips in the city? To me it's between this and Pacific Inn Pub. They have a much better tartar sauce and serve a larger portion at a third less of the price, but I think the actual fish and the fries here are better. I would say it's a toss-up - you can't go wrong with either one. Overall, a fantastic new opening that I would love to bring people to. 9/10

I didn't eat more than two bites. My fish was way over cooked. The fries were decent. Server was excellent and I felt bad dinging the star for her. She was great at keeping our waters filled and having a pleasant conversation. Restaurant was busy enough and the wait for the bathroom is in the same hallway the kitchen uses. I heard many complaints about this fact while I was in the tight quarters. Prime location, just need to look at fixing the cooking issues and this place would be jammed.

The fish was delicious, and the breading stayed crisp, and wasn't oily at all. A+ Fries, lightly seasoned, and even the slaw was good with just a light sweetness. Don't skip this spot! Small in-store dining area, and not busy at all on a Friday afternoon.

This place was good! Service was wonderful and kind. There's only 3 tables that seat 2 and 2…read morecounters that seat maybe 2-3 each. For food, I got the special, which I would recommend. It came with 2 pieces of cod, fries or coleslaw (I chose coleslaw. It does NOT come with raisins which I was very pleased about), tartar sauce, a drink, and 3 prawns. Prawns were my favorite part of the meal. Perfectly cooked. Coleslaw was pretty good, a little sweet, and helped cut all the oil. Cod and prawns were crunchy and not overly oily. My bf got the 3 piece cod which came with fries. The fries were dry, which means they were probably over fried. Clam chowder was pretty darn good. Mac n cheese was good but ultimately it reminded me of the mac n cheese I'd eat as a kid from frozen TV dinners, which made me nostalgic so not sure how to feel. Think I saw someone else say the pasta was overcooked. I wouldn't say it's overcooked but it's not al dente either. Tartar sauce is not free here! 79 cents each. I would recommend TWO containers for 1 order. I got 1 serving of tartar, which came with the special, and it was not enough for 2 piece cod + 3 prawns. We ordered another 1 serving of tartar for my bf and it was not enough for his 3 piece cod either. Overall my bf and I both separately came to the conclusion that it feels "homemade". Like stuff a family would make at home.
