Yesterday, we enjoyed a lovely dinner celebrating our 29th anniversary. The ambiance was perfect! We didn't tell anyone it was our anniversary. So to make it more magical, when dinner was served our wedding song, "When I Fall in Love" started playing . The service and food was fantastic. We enjoyed every minute. I stopped in here one night to grab an order to go after work. I sat at the bar and ordered a mimosa while I browsed the menu and waited for my food. I was thoroughly underwhelmed by the mimosas. I hate when mimosas are served in a champagne glass as it's a tiny tiny drink, but to make matters worse it seemed to be almost completely orange juice. I ended up having to order a second one because I downed the first one so fast since it was practically juice. Thankfully, though, they only charge $5 for a mimosa which is more reasonable than others who charge more for a champagne glass mimosa. I ordered the spaghetti with marinara to go and subbed chicken for the meatballs. The grilled chicken had Parmesan on top of it and was delicious - I scarfed down the chicken before even getting to the pasta. The only problem was there was no Parmesan left for the pasta itself. The pasta was wonderfully cooked, and while the sauce tasted good, it didn't blend well into the pasta. It seemed to have a more watery consistency than I would expect from an upscale restaurant. There were still chunks of tomato which were very tender and the texture went well with the pasta. I wish it stirred better into the pasta, but it was still pretty tasty. It also came with a mini loaf of bread that was absolutely delicious. While I wasn't overly impressed considering this is an upscale place, I would probably go back and try it again. Sit-Down Dining Review Decided to dine in without a reservation on late notice with a party of 10 which is usually a big ask. Fortunately, this establishment was very accommodating and set up for us immediately. Before being seated we headed over to the bar to be greeted by a wide variety of beverages and many unique cocktails. The appetizers came out promptly after being ordered and were a great start to our meal. The entrees came out shortly after at a great temp and the plate was left with little blank space. Furthermore, the pricing of the meals was unbeatable especially for this level of dining. There was not much more to be asked from the service. Our food came out with great timing and drinks were always taken care of. Overall, a great spot to stop at if you're looking for a quick, affordable, good meal and drink. I am only doing a 3 because my husband enjoyed his pasta ( the vodka one) and pizza ( like a 5 cheese pizza). My food was horrible i would give a zero. My food was swimming in water like the pasta was not drained or the sauce was microwaved. The salmon was raw in the middle no flake to it whatsoever. I had such high expectations from this place u was a total let down. Also server forgot to add shrimp to my husbands pasta and when we got our food and told her it was missing she went to put it and was told they are out of shrimp. We ordered the salmon in place but decided to just leave because mine was under cooked. We wanted dessert but I was just done after not being able to enjoy my food. Just okay... I have mixed feelings about this place. I came here for an anniversary dinner with Bae. I was a bit underwhelmed by the inside and the decor. I just expected it to be fancier given the location. But they did have the dim lighting and candles on the tables, so it was a nice vibe. I ordered the Georgia Peach Martini. I wasn't a fan of the taste, but it was strong! I couldn't finish it, so Bae took care of it for me. Should've gone with one of their many wine options. Now for the food... I ordered the Stromboli; it came with a bowl of red dipping sauce. I enjoyed it. The bread was a bit harder than I would've liked. Bae got the lasagna, of course I tried it, it was good as well. I'm giving 1 star bc the appetizers mainly the crab cakes and drinks were good. The actual Italian food was awful. Friends got the chicken parm and chicken piccatta. I thought I had reviewed them before, but apparently I hadn't. The first time we came here about a year ago, I got the lemon chicken piccata and loved it. My husband got the penne alla vodka and hated it. He lived in Italy, so he has high standards for Italian food so I brushed it off thinking it was just that. This time, I ordered the chicken parmigiana and thought it was a sub par version of what you would get at Olive Garden- very disappointing. My husband got the lasagna and said it was good, not great, and he wouldn't get it again or want to come back again. They don't offer complimentary bread and meals don't come with a starter soup/salad, so just keep that in mind when ordering. Also, just a side note that I had called in and was told there was no wait for 2 and a high chair, we arrived about 5-10 minutes later and the hostess saw that we had kids and "recommended" we sit out on the patio and if we wanted a table inside that it would be about a 20-30 minute wait. I wish I had ready the comment from 23 days ago because I also have never sat down at a table I made a reservation for and was told I needed to be done within an hour and a half. This was my boyfriends birthday and we celebrated my own birthday here a few years ago. At that time they brought out a complimentary cute birthday treat. This time, we were rushed at the end and given our check before even being offered a desert menu because of the timing. The waitress was super sweet! The food was good. Ok it's been awhile since I have eaten here. Today me and my wife and daughter and her husband ate here. Each couple shared a lunch pizza and Greek Salads. The salad was enough to split. It was good but we had the meat pizza. Cooked and topped the way I like. I have noticed that the topping at out places have become like they are chopped up. You cannot recognize the flavors. Our meat pizza here has large piece of all the meats with more than adequate cheese. The way I love pizza. The pizza is fired in a Brick oven. Perfect!! This is our 2nd time at this place because we decided to give it another shot to redeem themselves. We came here on one of our date nights a couple of months ago and my boyfriend ordered the pasta Oliviana while I had some pasta that was so tasteless and bland I have suppressed that memory so deep in my brain I cannot remember the name of it. We also ordered the meatballs as an app which was nothing to write home about. While the restaurant itself looks cute and the waiter was pleasant, the food was crappy. We then decided, because we're gracious and believe that everyone deserves a second chance that we'll try it for brunch. We both ordered frittatas, mine was Mediterranean and his was nature. They were as flat as a crepe and watery. They came with home fries which were edible. Not even an hour has passed by and my stomach is currently in knots. Plain and simple the food is just crappy. While visiting my in laws we decided to pickup food from here a couple weekends ago. So glad we tried it. Food was pretty tasty. While this picture doesn't do it any justice. This was my leftovers the following day. I had chicken Marsala with pasta & it was very flavorful. My family had the calzone & Stromboli. They were large portions & they enjoyed them. We had the best servers, Elliot and Austin, who were so helpful with recommendations for the food and the drink menu our first time visiting. The wife ordered the salmon and I the namesake pasta. The salmon was nice, good flavor and sauce. The risotto side was undercooked and was replaced by more undercooked risotto which was really unfortunate because that was why she chose Italian tonight. Visited on a Sunday for the very first time. Restaurant was just opening the doors so the establishment was very clean outside and inside. Ordered from the Brunch menu and I was pleased. Shrimp & Grits was very tasty and filling. My party and I were interested in Mimosas, but they were out of Champagne. Unfortnately we had to settle for Peach Bellini and was then told they only had enough ingredients to fulfill a glass and a half. They offered to charge us for only one, so we then had to settle for Moscow Mules which was just okay. Our server was very attentive and polite and so was the bartendar. My fiancé and I started a tradition a few years back to celebrate our anniversary here. The first time we went, it's was delicious! Excellent service. Excellent food. But every time since then has been increasingly worse. Tonight, we thought we'd give it another try just to see. There is clearly a shortage of servers, as we had the bartenders waiting on us. But since they're mainly bar, they often neglect the tables. Food was mediocre at best. Ask for bread 2 times, still waiting. One of our servers, bc we had various, brought out a "loaf" (if I can even call it that) of bread no more than 3 inches long and some dipping oil. We never had to ask for bread at all in the past, it was just provided. Bread was cold. And for the price we're paying? Pasta was watery and generic - I've had better at home. Salad was weird - don't get the Caesar. Staff is nice but definitely stretched too thin - not their faults. Definitely need some different management. Also, the menus have no pricing and they're legit a word doc without edits. Phew. I'll be going to Carrabba's next time for some quality. read more

I drove from Aiken, SC today to meet my sister at Oliviana's for lunch. Both their website and Facebook pages advertise right now that they are open for lunch. After driving for an hour to dine, I found a sheet of paper taped to the door telling me (and others) who were both disappointed and infuriated that they changed their hours and are no longer open for lunch. Really?? You didn't have the common sense, courtesy, or customer care to change your advertising? You obviously could care less about your patrons. So my sister and I will in the future hold you in lowest regard. We will dine where the establishment shows at least a minimal regard for their guests. My family and I were looking to try a local restaurant while on vacation. Everything was amazing! We started off with an appetizer of mozzarella sticks that were not on the menu. It was the most satisfying mozzarella sticks I have ever had. The first and last bite was still all hot and meaty goodness. The marinara sauce tasted fresh and perfectly complimented the cheese. There was plenty of sauce, so no need to worry about running out. My son ordered a kid's pizza. I snuck a bite of his sausage and black olive pizza, and it was flavorful and not greasy. Since we were on vacation and saw that the entrees were large, my husband and I split the chicken parmesan with fettuccine Alfredo instead of spaghetti. Both were delicious and filling. My son took one bite of the fettuccine and asked to have more. The front house manager came to check in on us. We had a delightful conversation. It was genuine and not intrusive as some managers can be. The whole experience was beyond my expectations. We were so delighted that we popped back in the next night and enjoyed another amazing dinner. I wish we lived closer to make this a regular spot. Next time we are in Georgia, we will make a detour to enjoy another fabulous meal. read more

We came into this restaurant on a suggestion. We arrived about an hour before closing. Our waitress Shelby was very accommodating. She had a great recommendation for a bottle of wine. Then she recommended an app, Pizza, and a pasta. We had the bruschetta, meatballs, calzone, penne ala vodka, and bolognese pasta. Everything was great! The meatball app was a table favorite, so cheesy. The pasta was good but could use some extra sauce. The calzone was also good but needed extra sauce. They do charge for extra sauce. It was worth it although it is the reason for 4 and not 5 stars. The restaurant was clean, quiet, and nicely decorated. Good food for the price. We were pleasantly surprised by the bill being lower than expected. The manager even came by to make sure all was well and thanked us for stopping in. I recommend this place for some good well priced Italian food. We also took home many leftovers so the portions are generous. read more

My experience this evening was something I never wish to experience again and I believe I speak for countless guests who visited the restaurant tonight. The manager on duty named Ashley was beyond disrespectful and full of degrading and unprofessional comments that caused many other guests to feel just as uncomfortable as we did. Parties on both sides of us saw the way we were treated and made comments about it when she walked away because they were actually baffled by the language used and the distasteful comments she made. If being treated with zero respect was not enough my family then waited an hour and fifty minutes to receive our meals (party of 4) that were all cold or incomplete when they arrived. For the "classy" environment this restaurant portrays itself to provide and the price you pay to eat here it is a shame to have such an awful experience without any type of acknowledgment or apology from the staff just more attitude. This establishment has been going down hill for some time now and this is definitely our last visit. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I would give zero stars if it was an option. read more

Updating my previous 4 star review to 1 star, and here's why. First thing's first, Hunny and I both got sick after this trip to Oliviana's. If there is ONE THING that will make me never come back to a restaurant, it's getting sick from the food, or a hair in my food. This was the former. I'll give you the very abridged version of the story. We get there at about 3:20pm on a Friday (note: lunch ends at 3, with dinner starting at 3). I specifically ask the hostess (who also ended up being our waitress) if they were serving lunch or dinner - two reasons: the first time at this establishment, there was a bit of a snafu if you will about the time of lunch/dinner - maybe their staff just doesn't pay attention to the time, I don't know. Second reason, I wanted a dinner item (Carbonara), but I wasn't sure if it was on the lunch menu as well as a smaller portion. She told us that it was lunch, and she proceeded to give us lunch menus. The food was alright, and her service was also ALRIGHT. Nothing even close to the first waitress I had here. Also, we were literally the only customers in the place, so I don't know why it was so struggly. One thing to note is that I asked her specifically about the carbonara, and she told me AGAIN that it was lunch and she would go check and see if the cook was "okay with making it". Now, this gave me a very slight, yet immediate attitude, because REALLY it's dinner, so this shouldn't have to be a question, but also, what do you mean "okay with making it"? Are y'all "okay" with taking my money for this retched experience? I should think so. Now. Cut to the check. I am one of those people who read the check line by line to make sure you have my junk straight. So, immediately I noticed that the total of the check was about $70. Let me break it down: Carbonara (dinner): $18 Pizza (lunch) : $12 Two orders or crab cakes (lunch appetizers): $9/ea for a total of $18 One beer: $4. Can you see how I was confused at how the total was $68+? The prices we were charged were $4 extra for each item you see listed (lunch), for total of $12 extra. Please don't mistake me, yes, it's only $12... But it's MY $12, and I'm not jut going to give it away to any business or person, especially in the err of greed. Moving on, I asked her to correct the check (but first, I asked for clarification of the prices - is everything dinner price since I ordered ONE dinner item or is this an error?). I also requested a manager. She kept going back and forth talking to the manager and so on and such which (which I could see through their glass bar area), and she eventually came back with a corrected check, after I very directly informed her that I WOULD NOT be paying the extra $12. Whether you take it off the check or not, I'm not paying it. The manager never came out (which I thought was quite cowardly, personally, and lazy), and I also didn't get the military discount that I know they offer (20%), but decided not to press the issue because I was over it and was ready to leave and not bring my business back to this restaurant. BLUF: They need to train their staff on proper procedures, and the manager should ALWAYS come out when there is an issue, but ALWAYS on request. If they don't know what time lunch ends and dinner starts, they need to have two separate shifts so there's no way to get it confused. read more

Haley was our server and she was prompt and polite. She took great care of us. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the fresh air. The starter bread was the best bread we'd all had in years. I ordered spaghetti with meatballs and a Sauvignon Blanc- both were good. The noodles and meatballs were a tad dry but had good flavor. My boyfriend ordered the Sicilian pizza, he gave it a 6 out of 10. I tried it and thought it was a great. His mother ordered the Formagio (sp?) pizza and gave it a 7; I give it an 8.5! I'll certainly be ordering that next time. His father ordered the Chicken Parmesan and raved about it. He said it was the best chicken parm he'd ever eaten. I will certainly be returning and would recommend. (4/5 stars because when I called to reserve a patio table, I was told they couldn't accommodate our party of 4 or reserve a patio table after one of the three groups sitting down finished eating.. understandably, 1 of the 3 larger tables had already been reserved. I explained we were comfortable with waiting for one of the other two patio tables and that we just wanted to eat outside since it was a beautiful day and a special occasion.
