One clerk in particular I called on the phone and her name is (McKenna) and I told her I wanted the old farmers almanac 2025 box calendar. When I got there, she had three different ones and I picked the one that I wanted. I posted a picture of it. The store is awesome and I always meet interesting people as I just did now, I met an artist that specializes in a number of things, but when I said cats, she gave me her card because she does portraits of pets. I am going to be doing business with her get yourself over the Books A Million, a.k.a. We spent time perusing the stacks, where he found just what he was looking for and I rekindled my love for Mercedes Lackey and her fantasy series. I love the way a bookstore smells and BAM is no different. One thing that they have above the other retail sellers? They take used books, including school books. YES! They're a new and used seller, how's that? They also have a huge selection of comics and the like.

A coffee table book of artworks in Ybor City for my friend who loves the area. In great condition and reasonably priced. Awesome. And then I spotted two science fiction books for me that are going onto my shelves. I also bought a bookplate that was in a display at the counter. Eek, $15. But worth it to customize my gift which the very nice young lady put into a bag with some tissue paper to make "gift". Awesome service. Fabulous stuff and that's just the books. There's also all sorts of other vintage and unique antique items on sale. Definite opportunity for gifts and light decor. [Round number review 15800 overall - 1380 in Florida - 1304 of 2021.]

I've been into the shop a couple times; the first time was in their opening week. The owner (I'm…read morenot sure of her name) is so friendly and really loves her collection. This past Shop Small Saturday, I visited with 4 other people and her shop was (safely) bustling. I found a record for $1 outside and I did not have any cash - instead of having me use my card for a buck, she gave me the record for free. These types of small things make people come back and bring other people with them. This is a gem of a store (located just a couple blocks from where I used to live) in Seminole Heights. Check it out and spend some time finding some cool vintage treasures like books, records and furniture.

The ambiance is beautiful, the service is always excellent, and the food is consistently delicious. They also have amazing coffee and a great drink selection. Everything I've tried over the years has been fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It's one of those places that always leaves a great impression, whether it's your first visit or your tenth. I was really disappointed by my experience recently because I had actually recommended this…read morerestaurant to the other guests with me, who had never been before. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with an over-hard egg, while another guest ordered the same sandwich with an over-easy egg. When our food arrived, the over-easy sandwich was correct, but the sandwich placed in front of me had an over-medium egg with a runny yolk instead of the over-hard egg I specifically requested. I always make a point to clearly ask for a fully cooked egg because I cannot tolerate runny yolks. I politely called our waitress over and explained what had happened. I told her that the sandwich in front of me belonged to the other guest, and that the sandwich they had received appeared to have been intended as mine, except the egg was still runny and wasn't cooked over hard as ordered. Rather than listening to my concern, she responded in a very condescending manner and insisted the order was correct and that we simply needed to switch plates. I explained that switching plates would not solve the actual issue--the egg itself had not been cooked as ordered. She eventually took my sandwich back to have it remade, but after that interaction she rarely checked back on our table for the remainder of the meal and seemed to avoid us entirely. I never raised my voice or made a scene; I simply wanted the food I ordered prepared correctly. Mistakes happen in any restaurant, and I am completely understanding of that. What was most disappointing wasn't the kitchen error, it was the dismissive response to a reasonable request and the lack of service afterward. Since I had spoken so highly of this restaurant beforehand, it was embarrassing to have my guests experience this as their first visit.

This store is located in the plaza with Simply Pho, Grand Hacienda, and Keke's Breakfast cafe. It is clean and has a lot of different sections. There is a cafe with drinks/pastries like most others. The employees there were nice and efficient. I got a slice of Pumpkin Cheesecake after missing out last year due to Hurricane Milton. It was $7 and average sized. 9/10 There aren't many negatives. I liked the floor plan of the previous store more. It was more open and spacious. This one feels a bit more "compartmentalized" Outside of the cafe area, there aren't too many sitting areas. There are a few chairs placed throughout the store. The store is in a large plaza with ample parking. Overall: Good to see the Carrolwood have a replacement so soon!
