This is a cute little place in Olney! TLDR; Decent food but ALWAYS a LONG WAIT I had ordered a BUNCH of food Crab Poutine: 2/5 This SOUNDS good, but unfortunately misses the mark. There an okay amount of crab but it's pretty wet on the consistency not like the normal idea of "poutine" would be a far cry from what you get. And because it's watery it makes the fries extra soggy and not crisp and the flavor is just okay. Overall, mediocre and not worth it. Skip. Pretzel and beer cheese: 3/5 This isn't too bad! The pretzel was good texture and was a good pretzel, a little small nubs not like a full pretzel pretzel, but not bad. The cheese was alright, good pairing, nothing that stands out but not bad for a pretzel fix. Burgers: We had gotten several burgers, all of them were decent, I'm not sure if it's worth $20....but it was a solid juicy burger and had good flavor! The service, oh my goodness, this is the SLOWEST restaurant I have went a couple of times and each time it takes a solid 45min to an hour to get your food. So the attentiveness to the water and the wait for the food is SO LONG. Overall, I think that the food is good but I'm not sure if it's worth the wait and the price.

Since Terrapin Station unexpectedly closed before homecoming, I had to take advantage on a day when I found myself in Olney. Olney Station is the OG location, and it was fascinating observing the similarities and differences. For one, their happy hour goes until 7, while Terrapin's was until 6 -- but only the latter had a late night happy hour on Fridays and Saturdays. I think the menus were nearly identical. I went with one of my classic favs -- the bison burger with fries. And it was Burger Tuesday, so it was $5 off, yay! I was sitting at the bar and the bartender was handling everyone's orders efficiently. I forgot his name, but he was a nice older guy. It was nice to see what the original location looks like, and it truly is a nice layout. I'd return, but I'm hoping the location near my house returns sooner than later :).

First time here and I love how quiet it was. Waiters were very attentive and on top of everything. Making sure our food came out fresh, delicious and with the requests accurate. Deviled eggs were ok, I thought it would be more for the price honestly. Burger was my favorite part. A delicious thick patty served at the temperature you desire. The fries were fresh, hot and perfectly salted. I loved it. Definitely coming back for the burger. Probably not the appetizers.

We were looking forward to trying this new place as the burgers sounded delicious. We got here Saturday afternoon around 12:15 and we were literally the only people there. One person showed up at the bar but it was just empty. We both ordered 2 draft beers and the classic burger. The draft beers had sooooo much foam. R was also served the wrong beer; but our server wasn't really around enough to say anything. The burgers came out slightly over cooked which I guess we just need to expect from all restaurants now? Plenty of toppings, but there was not any flavor on the burger itself. The fries were pretty over cooked as well. R ordered the cheese fries (at a $2 upcharge) and the cheese was served in a ramekin on the side. Very odd and not worth the upcharge. There are other restaurants in this area that are more consistent so not sure we'll make it back. They seem new so maybe they need to work out some kinks.

We were hoping to find a quiet table where we could enjoy a long conversation. Unfortunately, we later discovered it didn't matter where we sat because the restaurant was so loud that it was difficult to hear each other. That aside, we thoroughly enjoyed the service provided by the charming and personable Andrew. My friend had several questions and special requests, and he remained professional, patient, and accommodating throughout our visit. Andrew started us off with complimentary pita bread. We initially paired it with the harissa, but found it a bit too spicy for our tastes, so we asked for butter and olive oil instead. We ordered the spanakopita, chicken souvlaki, gyros, and loukoumades for dessert. Of the four dishes, the gyros were our favorite, although everything we tried was delicious. The only disappointment was the spanakopita. At $14, we felt the portion was on the small side for the price. When we arrived, there were only a few other diners, but within an hour the restaurant was packed. We were definitely glad we came early. Overall, we both agreed that the food and service were exceptional. The only drawback was the noise level. We had so much to catch up on, and it would have been a much more enjoyable experience if we hadn't had to compete with the volume of the restaurant just to carry on a conversation.

We started off with the salad. It is in a nice sized bowl with greens, cucumber, tomatoes, onions, green peppers and feta cheese, but it is drenched in dressing. I'll have to see if they can make the dressing optional the next time. I ordered the Cava Gyro that also came with fries. Everything was so good as I expected it to be. Perfect temperature too. The other in our party had the same thing and enjoyed their sandwich as well. For dessert I enjoyed their Greek donuts called Loukoumades. In a few pictures online it looks like it is served with the fixings already poured on the donuts - the Nutella and the honey and walnuts, but when I received the dish, each item was separate, so they put you in charge of doing the drizzling of those toppings - I like it. The donuts were round and plump (7 total) with a little sprinkling of sugar and are very airy when you eat each. It has become one of my favorites here. Joey was our server and he provided top notch service. Hope to get him again.

Szechuan Chinese food in a tiny city like Olney is kind of crazy. The owners are really nice. Staff knows us by name now. My favorite dish is the spicy pickled soup with fish. I would've never ordered this, but I took a friend and he did and it now is my favorite. There are so many other good dishes, though as well the Szechuan crispy shrimp is really good. If you're looking for something that's not as hot the crispy beef is really good as well sweet and very mild. Their sushi is pretty good too. Sushi Katana is still my favorite local sushi restaurant. Jiang court sushi is right next to them in quality. If you're not sure about Szechuan Chinese food, ask Miss Lucy for recommendations. She is amazing if she's not around ask for Kevin he'll set you straight to. What I really like about the staff is you can ask them and they'll give you honest answers. They have the obligatory American general tso chicken. However, I would avoid that and get authentic Szechuan food. This is hands-down, the best Chinese food I've ever had. We used to go to New York City and eat Chinese a lot. I would eat this over any restaurant in nyc.

We started with the Grand Caviar tasting, which was the most expensive caviar option on the menu. For the price, I expected much more. The caviar was extremely salty, to the point where it felt like additional salt had been added on top. The tasting included three varieties of caviar. The caviar they used on one was the exact caviar they used in sushi. Our second appetizer, the tuna dish, was significantly better. While the presentation could have been more refined and visually appealing, the flavor exceeded expectations and was one of the stronger dishes we tried. For my entrée, I ordered the branzino. The fish itself was decent, but def not crispy but it was salty. The sauce was salty and the fish was salty making the entire plate feel like salt layered upon salt. Additionally, the skin was advertised as crispy, but it lacked the crisp texture I was expecting. My husband ordered the rainbow trout stuffed with crab. It was enjoyable and probably the most balanced entrée of the evening, though it wasn't particularly memorable. For sides, I ordered the wild mushrooms, and my husband chose the risotto. The risotto had good flavor but seemed slightly undercooked. The mushroom side was also on the salty side, and despite being described as "wild mushrooms," it consisted primarily of portobello mushroom.
