Olo Yogurt Studio was a great addition to the Nob Hill area. My 6-year old niece and I really enjoy our trips here. Being able to sample all the different flavors is awesome, plus the staff is friendly and laid-back. They don't seem to mind if each of us samples all ten flavors before making the critical decision. I'm a fan of the Lady in Red Velvet and the original Tart. It's nice that the topping counter is low, because it means children can choose and administer their own toppings. Naturally, you will need to keep close, admonishing them to not put on too much, lest you walk away with a $15 cup of frozen yogurt! I like the high booths and tables. As we sit and leisurely enjoy our frozen treats, I am invariably entertained by the groups of teenagers who frequent the place. Apparently froyo exerts a powerful pull on the post-pubescent crowd. When I was in high school, I used to hang out in diners with my friends, drinking coffee, playing cards, chain-smoking, and taking the free refill policy as far as it would go. came here for the first time a couple days ago- what a relief from the sweltering heat/smoke! the yogurt was cool and yummy- with lots of sample cups so you can be sure about your choice- i got red velvet and cake batter flavors- toppings were plentiful and diverse. I believe it cost $0.41 per ounce (self serve) so not too pricey- plus you can decide how much you really want (and load up on the lightest toppings). really lovely spot for a hot summer afternoon. read more

This place is great. You get to taste the flavors before you try them. The flavors are always changing. They have low fat flavors (even though yogurt is already). The topping selection is good. The price is $0.45/once and on cold days it is cheaper. The staff is nice. We go there whenever we are in Nob Hill. read more

Olo has a rotating selection of yogurt flavors. You fill up the cup with the yogurt and get your toppings. They have a good selection of toppings from fresh fruit, cereal, chocolate, candies, Mochi, boba, cookies...etc. You can get wild and end up paying big bucks like me when you go a tad overboard, fill up to the brim or overfill. The yogurt tasted like ice milk. If you've never experienced ice milk (you don't want to) take my word that that is not a good thing. Its sort of... how to say this descriptively... ? Its the opposite of creamy. Instead its watery, with big ice crystals in it, and it tastes cheap. I sampled several flavors and they all had the same consistency. The toppings were fine. I liked the homemade cranberry sauce, but the yogurt was so unpleasant I didn't want to finish it. Also the store was crowded and parking was hard to find. I'm not a resident of ABQ, so maybe this is the best it gets here. If so, sorry guys. Try to get an Orange Leaf in your town. You'll love it. read more

They had a fairly common list flavors. I was excited to try the pumpkin though. I had Pumpkin, Cake Batter, and Chocolate. The flavors were pretty weak. They weren't bad but I couldn't taste the flavors of the yogurt at all. That was disappointing. The selection of toppings was okay. They were a bit more expensive than other shops at $.41/ounce. The shop was really loud and seemed very crowded. I couldn't hear my friend talking while were there. The employees seemed more interested in talking amongst each other and their friends that came in rather than greeting/talking to customers. Overall, it was okay. Two years ago Olo was my hang out spot, and then I moved to Washington and missed it every day. Well, last week I made a trip and had to get some olo and still has the sweet and creamy taste it always had. They have changed a few things, but not much. I didn't like the one sample cup, because I wanted to try the flavors before choosing and they got rid of fortune cookies for toppings (which became a tradition of going there). Yum, that's what this place is. My husband discovered this place some time back and occasionally takes the kiddos, but I'd never gone until today. Today, I went with the fam and The Girl's BFF. Cute, colorful interior with an award in design by some local architecture firm, even. Self-serve frozen yogurt in flavors such as dulce de leche and horchata to angel food cake and crushed thin mint. I tried approximately five flavors: let's see, the chocolate (sorry, can't remember the whimsical name), the berry one (wow, I'm sucking at remembering the names), the horchata, the cake batter, and the thin mint. I tried to choose flavors that wouldn't totally clash and I think I succeeded. The selection of flavors is plenty, though perhaps smaller than I expected. However, the toppings bar was pretty awesome. I put two lychee, two circus animal cookies (swoon), mango boba, and about five Cap'n Crunch (YES!!!). It was cool. Looking forward to returning sometime. I have to say, though, I only frequent these kinds of places a few times a year, and at the kids' begging, so it may be a while before I'm back. Most frozen yogurt places are about the same to me, and although Olo doesn't really stand out from the crowd, it's still very good. I've been there twice this summer and will most likely go again before I leave Albuquerque. There's a wide selection of toppings to choose from, including fresh fruit (my favorite). The pricing is very reasonable. I always pay around $2 per cup, and it's just the right amount of fro-yo for me. More positives: Olo is a nice place to hang out while you eat your yogurt. Seating is somewhat limited, but we've never had problems getting a table. The music is good (Sara Bareilles Pandora station or something similar) and not too loud. The staff is friendly and the location is great as it's right in the middle of Nob Hill. read more

Tasty & tart! I sampled the peach mango tart and original tart and then got a little of both and topped it with delicious blueberries, strawberries and waffle cone pieces. Very good yogurts, I may try a more chocolately treat next time. As a bunch of people noted in their reviews, it's awesome that the little sample cups are freely available, seems like a great business decision and I doubt most people have to try more than a few before they find one they can't resist! The workers were friendly and I saw a young man cleaning everything from the dispenser area to the swinging kitchen door very dilligently. Fantastic FroYo at a fantastic price! Best of all it's locally owned. There aren't as many flavors to choose from as there are at some other FroYo spots, but the flavors they DO have are fantastic! They even have hot fudge. Who doesn't like hot fudge? I tried mine with Apple Jacks cereal and loved the crunch! Visiting in New Mexico and finding a place like the Olo yogurt studio was refreshing. Their flavors were good and topping were delicious!

For a frozen yogurt joint, this place hits the mark. The flavors are always a combo of traditional and interesting (french toast, and other weird ones). And while serve yourself yogurt can be expensive, the total bill for my kids and me never seems to come above $10. And its locally owned and the family always donates to local causes.
