The golf course

We booked a tee time thinking it was for Olomana. Showed up 30 minutes before our "tee time" just to find out it wasn't the right golf course. The nice gentleman in the pro shop was able to get us a tee time for the time we "already had". Very friendly. Beautiful course.

Hawaii's version of Top Golf! Easily made reservations online. $50/per hour for each bay which holds up to 6 people. A bucket of 70 balls is included (per hour) and additional buckets are available for purchase should you run out before the hour is up. You need to download the Toptracer app to run the interactive games. Simple registration with email address. I'd suggest doing this before arrival as the cellular reception is spotty. You can bring your own clubs or borrow irons from them. Youth clubs available also. The games range from practicing your drives to Angry Birds or Go Fish (building a virtual aquarium per hit). When the sun goes down and the neon lights turn on, the magic starts happening! Wear your neon or white colors! K-POP music playing on the TVs overhead in each bay. They have a bar which serves Ultra beer and 2 or 3 varieties of hard liquor, plus soft drinks. The only food vendor that was on hand was a food truck called "Hello World". Their menu consisted of elote corn, nachos, hot dogs and a Philly cheesesteak type of sandwich. The food truck only provided spoons so we were creative in cutting the sandwiches in half. Women's restrooms need some help. 5 stalls but only 2 toilets were in order. 4 sinks but only 1 working. Lots of small, pesky flying insects when it got dark but that's to be expected for the location. Lots of extra seating behind the bays, pavilions, picnic tables, etc. Plenty of parking but no lights in the lot so buddy up when going to/from your car.

Kama'aina rate w/ a cart isn't too bad for the views. The course could use a little maintenance for some holes, greens, and one of our two carts needed some tightening, but it's so difficult to complain when you're golfing w/ friends on a Saturday with a few beers. Friendly and attentive employees. They have a double decker driving range! The outdoor beer garden opens at 9, and they serve food, beer and cocktails. (presently no cart service on the course) The Proshop has limited items for sale. Clean restrooms. The restaurant is not available, looks like it may be under construction. GREAT VIEWS in a BEAUTIFUL LOCATION!!

They have gold clubs to borrow if you don't own a pair and they have food and drinks available. We recommend reservations since they have limited tables $50 for a hour up to 6ppl. Wear neon for the black lights. They have light up balls and a interactive experience with the range and the lights are on point

Olomana Golf Links located on the Windward side of Oahu, features an 18 hole, par 72 golf course with a view of the Ko'olau Mountain Range. The front nine starts with a wide open Par 5, which is easily reachable in two. You'll discover multiple holes with waterway crossing, which challenges golfers to lay up short, or take a chance and drive it through. Good luck! The back nine has a bunch of elevated greens, so don't forget to club up to account for the elevation change. Nice view on the greens. Overall, Olomana Golf is a challenging course, but requires a lot more TLC, especially at its current condition and Kama'aina rates.

First time coming here and it's a bit pricey compared to a normal range but had a pretty good time. The food was good and the range was nice. Only issue I had was all the gnats in the area but besides that it was a cool experience. The food is not too bad!

This Course was great! Staff was top tier very friendly. Chatted it up got free range balls was allowed to play before my teatime 6:40am got to play a solo round. Course conditions was great for this time of year not too dry. Greens were fast and very well maintained. Forgiving course on front nine, "your money maker", back nine a little more difficult little more narrow. Had a great time here on my vacation. Mahalo Olomana Golf Links will be back!

Location is good and the scenery is great. Not many people. But the cost for out of state was high especially for a course that wasn't really well maintained. And they wouldn't give me military discount. Only active, even though I'm retired? Huh? Most other places give the military discount to all military. I wasn't asking for kama'aine. Oh well. They have nothing in pro shop except balls and these horrible golf shirts. But they expect you to play in collar shirt? Nothing you can buy but a sleeve of balls. Hmmm. Was hoping for a nice polo Then they have all these new carts but they give me the only non local a pos old cart. Wtf. Only reason I give two stars is because my friend comes here all the time and likes the course and had good things to say. And we'll it is Hawaii and it was beautiful. But the course was not very well maintained It was a great time golfing with my friend today and the course had some forgiving holes. Maybe if I was a local here I'd get over the other stuff. I think local price was $30 and out of state was $90. Me? Sheeeet. Next time I go to one of the other 100 courses on island that are friendly and maintain their course or a military course. Ugh.

It's been years since I've played this course. The greens are not the best nor the fairways but the views are worth it. I hurt my back and could only drive the cart for our foursome but paying $30 just to share the cart was too hefty a price. Best to eat before you play as the restaurant was closed and the small snack bar had $3 musubi's and $8 hot dogs!

We were looking for a golf course that could accommodate a range of golfing abilities at a decent price. This place was just the right choice! We were able to play as a 5some which was so awesome. The views of the mountains were breathtaking. The bartender was an absolute sweetheart and their drink prices were very reasonable. We didn't receive the warmest welcome at first, and the course conditions were not great, but it does sound like it is on the up and up!

Beautiful course but poorly taken care of. The sand traps are like hardened cement. Greens are unreadable due to its patchiness.

It was peaceful and the pace was a bit slow but everyone was courteous of others. My husband (the actual golfer in this relationship) said he thought it was only alright for the price you pay. He said it's beautiful scenery but they don't do a good enough job sainting the greens. I will say, it also poured down that day. If it wasn't for us arriving after the storm passed, they would've rescheduled us. We paid: $200 per golfer $80 to be a rider $80 rental $30 ball rental $100 Royal Hawaiian golf shirt $60 per golf hat They had a two person per golf cart policy. So if you're a single rider and it's a busy day you might be paired up. The golf cart was nice because it told you how far your in yardage your ball was, it had Bluetooth to play music from your phone, and a GPS. The course is huge so these were all great functions that added to the experience. ALSO, There was tons of wildlife throughout the course that we took pictures of!!!! If you loose your balls you're cooked, it's literally like golfing in the jungle. Overall, we'll check out another golf club whenever we go back. We had fun, but it was good for a one time visit.

The fairways are narrow, there are drop-offs everywhere, and accuracy is absolutely critical. Bring your A-game because if you're slightly off the tee, you'll be searching for golf balls all day. I would strongly recommend bringing extra balls because this course can be unforgiving. What makes the challenge worthwhile is the breathtaking scenery. The course is surrounded by lush mountains and tropical landscape that make every hole feel amazing. If you're looking for a challenging round of golf in one of the most scenic settings in Hawaii, Royal Hawaiian should definitely be on your list. I'll be back soon.

Concession stand with some drinks, beer and snacks. Definitely need to work on repaving the parking lot soon. I know it's difficult to up keep being windward but hey, it'd be nice not to worry about my car dropping 6 inches into a ditch. Finally had the chance to play here. Only 11 holes were available but for the price with cart you could not beat. I can imagine how impressive the course was back in the day. I hope one day it is restored fully to its former glory. Aside from that, you've got some amazing views of the mountains behind Waimanalo. It's sort of an oasis, away from the city entirely. Not like Ewa courses where planes are constantly flying over head or seeing traffic passing by. If you can get past the not so great greens the course is in good condition. I really hope that olomana gets more traction, it's a great location, lots of range space, reasonably priced and they do have beer in the pro shop. Keep the golf game alive!

As I check into the disc golf course at Bellows Field Beach on Yelp, I begin to receive fun…read morecomments like, "I didn't know Bellows had a disc golf course!", I didn't know either until today. As Yelpers, our words and reviews are pretty darn powerful. We must put these businesses on the map so we can help get the word out that "Hey, they do exist and they are pretty damn awesome!" I didn't even know we had "Disc Golf" as a category on Yelp until the better half demanded we must fill this category in our region and let the world know that these places do exist on this island. There's nothing better than playing disc golf in paradise especially at this location. On one side of the course, you'll get the view of Hawai'i's pure aqua blue ocean while the scent of these gigantic trees are purposely on site high and low enough to make your game more challenging. Lets see you play this course. Okay, perhaps anyone can play this course better than I can. I am better off being the spectator or the photo girl on the sidelines. The entire course is only 9 baskets and all are par 3 whether it's short or long distances. I laughed at some of the "supposed par 3's" on this course because they didn't seem like they were. However, for the most part, my family was able to play the entire round without feeling any muscle aches from all the throwing. The 411 To get here you must enter through Bellows Air Force Station. Take Tinker Rd. all the way to the end of the road until the point check station. Upon driving in, the course is immediate to your right. 1) In order to play on this course, you need to have base access. 2) Free course! (Libre, Gratis) 3) You can either purchase your own set of discs from a local sporting goods or they can be rented at the pro shop. Prices so far on 8/6/16 (Per set $4= per day, $12=4 days, $20=week) 4) Bring comfortable and closed toe shoes. 5) Bring a pen and printed scorecards. http://www.dgcoursereview.com/scorecard.php?id=4488&tee=all Rules of the game are visible along with the map at the beginning of the course. The course is well marked with the few exceptions of basket 5 and 7. Again, the entire course is a par 3. Follow the map posted on your scorecards (map is also present at the beginning of the course) to aim at the correct baskets. These baskets are with a yellow rim marked specifically with their rightful rounds (i.e Basket 1/Par 3 = The correct number is on the yellow rim of each basket. So if you're starting from round 1 and your basket says 3, you're aiming at the wrong one. Don't let me confuse you and simply follow the map. It's a great course. If you accidentally miss throw your disc, you won't lose it easily anywhere you can't reach it. Unless you happen to throw it high enough and get it stuck on a tree. Bring your family and friends and enjoy this fun and friendly course. Bathrooms are inside the recreation office and parking is ample. The golf course parking lot is separate from the beach lot. So far, this is has been one of the cleanest and beautiful disc golf course I've ever played on.

I'm grateful Kat had me and my bridal party take pictures with it before we walked out to see our guests. If we hadn't we would have only had one person use the photo booth. The photo vendor had her head down on her phone the whole two hours we had her there, totally disengaged. I noticed and also received this info per multiple guests so that was embarrassing and annoying. I wish she was verbalizing why she was there and asking people " Hey would you like to take photos?!
