As its name suggests, it's a bog standard double cheeseburger, like something you might get in, erm, a diner. The ingredients were really good, including the vegetable toppings, which were fresh and expertly sliced. I especially liked the razor-thin onion slices. The thing that would have really elevated it is if the burger patties had a little char to them. The fish and chips looked good, and I appreciate the fact that they already had malt vinegar out on the table, as if it's a standard condiment. I might have to try that, if I return. I don't know how often I'd eat here otherwise, but a group I belong to meets here on occasion, so that's not outside the realm of possibility.
