++++ food ++++ family atmosphere…read more The food here is delicious! I ended up getting the LW burger with pub cheese and it came with shoe string fries, the burger was thick and juicy, while the shoe string fries with garlic aioli as my sauce was, perfect! This is a pretty good family atmosphere, they have high top tables but also had high top high chairs! A real positive in our book, haven't ran into many restaurants that have this option. I would suggest if you have little ones to order your food when they take your drinks because the service can be hit or miss depending on the time you go, and food can take a little longer than expected. So get the little ones ordered in first and then decide on the adults.

There were so many options that looked appealing. We split the bean dip appetizer which was super flavorful and fresh. Do wish there were a few more toasts to spread the dip on but the veggies also made for good dippers. Prices were decent and the happy hour looks like a good thing to check out with $5 drafts. Will definitely be back to explore more of this menu.

Elevated casual atmosphere that is super family friendly. We sat at a table in the main dining area, which also had a large bar with nice plush chairs. Plenty of TVs on mute if you want to check in on a sports game. Service was 11/10 - seamless, well paced, and very friendly staff Food was 4.5/5 - pretzels, brat, schnitzel were all delicious, best schnitzel Ive had outside of Germany Sadly the apple strudel dessert fell flat (seemed like it was on day 3, soggy pastry and a bit chilled like it was pulled from the fridge and microwaved) Plenty of fun German and Austrian classics, amazing beer, full bar with tasty cocktails, winning atmosphere and excellent service. Definitely worth a visit (or two or 10)

Friendly, welcoming and attentive. I was confused on beers so he let me have a mini tasting of light beers. I'm not sure which one I went with but I believe he said either the house helles or schankbier. Either way they both were tart and bland tasting . Stronger than a cider and a beer. I wasn't sold . For food I ordered the smash burger and fries. It came out fresh and hot but it was just ok! The ambiance of the building is what sold me. The elegance and high ceilings i absolutely loved. They also have the brewery inside the building to gawk and gaze at which was pretty neat. Building was well lit and plenty of seating. I attached the days and hrs of operation and a couple of menu options.

Street parking is almost always available near the brewery or across the street by the Lafayette Square fountain. Although a brewery, they also have a full bar when you walk in with a gorgeous arch window behind. You can grab a drink while you wait for your table. Their Strawberry Fields cocktail is really good! (Strawberry Basil infused Regatta Bay Gin, St. Elder, lemon, orange bitters, club) In this case, we went for brunch! We sat on their patio and ordered Mimosas and a Bloody Mary to drink. For food, we enjoyed omelets and pancakes. The pancakes were huge! I liked that the Seafood Omelet had hollandaise sauce on top. This is a big space and you can through a glass wall in the main dining area where they brew the beer which is neat! I recommend ordering a beer flight if it's your first time here so you can try a variety of their brews. Usually the flight includes your choice of four beer selections. Service here isn't anything exceptional but nothing bad either. Expect to wait a bit if coming for brunch Saturday or Sunday.

There is street parking available and a small parking lot across from the restaurant. You can enter the restaurant at the main entrance on the corner or through the garden gate to the courtyard, but you must see the hostess for a table. Entering the courtyard patio is lovely as there is some nice landscaping and water features that make it quite tranquil. There are tables of various sizes there or you can go inside where there's standard dining tables or in yet another area is the bar. It almost feels like three restaurants in one. I highly recommend sitting out in the courtyard patio if you're able to. It really is lovely. We had a group of people and our server, Kelly, was great! She took good care of us, and made recommendations. I was really impressed with the support staff who swiftly swapped out our empty water carafes for fresh, cold ones. I started with a bloody Mary with roasted garlic vodka. It was such a unique mix of flavors and I really enjoyed it. I decided for my brunch that I would have the buttermilk pancakes and scrambled eggs. I was pleasantly surprised that they offer sugar-free syrup, if you ask. My dining companions ordered the black bean breakfast and the Florentine omelet, and everyone seemed happy with their choices. I will definitely be back.

I ordered their pork chop, which came with asparagus and layered potatoes. The pork chop was served with a chutney sauce made from apricot, black, and golden raisins. This pork chop is somewhat unique to St. Louis; it's a huge bone-in chop, nothing in Naples, FL can compare. My chop was cooked perfectly. Now, as to never being here, I am exiting the building. There is a small dining area with an Irish band playing. I turned to my son and said I had been here before, pointed to the table I sat at, and told him I had Irish stew. It was in my drinking days, and I am sure I sang all the tunes with the band.

We were seated and it was even busier. It took some time to order drinks and even longer to order and receive our food. Nothing unreasonable especially given the sheer amount of people there. But guess what we enjoyed our table conversations while the drinks were routinely refreshed and when the food arrived it was perfect. While "just basic bar sandwiches and a burger " everything was prepared as ordered. The appropriate temps. Mostly importantly it was just good tasting. Hats off to the cooks and the service providers! Impressive

There were the usual brunch items: soups, salads, smoked salmon, eggs, bacon, sausage links, herb potatoes, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, French toast and an omelette station. If breakfast didn't fill you up there were lunch entrées too. Chicken creamed spinach, Sunday roast, mashed potatoes, grilled veggies, fresh corn cut off the cob and mashed potatoes. Finally assorted pastries and fresh fruit. Our waitress Lilly was outstanding and it was even her very first brunch service. So friendly and attentive which made our experience that much more enjoyable. Thank you Lilly! We had an early reservation which turned out to be good as by the time we were leaving the crowds showed up. Only thing, just before we left, live entertainment started which was a nice touch. Wish we could have listened longer but they had a 90 minute seating time which I guess was because it was Father's Day. Even though the restaurant is fairly new, it seemed they have their act together. We will be back again.

We visited on a Saturday at 5:00 PM with a group of 10 and made reservations ahead of time. In hindsight, reservations weren't really necessary since the restaurant wasn't very busy. There was a private party in the back room, but it didn't affect our dining experience at all. Food: Overall, the food was very good. I'm not sure why there are so many reviews mentioning bland or flavorless food because that wasn't our experience. The complimentary bread was outstanding. I wasn't personally a fan of the orange marmalade served with it, but everyone else at our table really enjoyed it. I highly recommend the stuffed cremini mushrooms, jacket potatoes, and salmon bruschetta. Everyone who ordered a salad or the clam chowder soup was pleased with their food. For entrees, our group enjoyed the grilled pork chop, glazed pork ribs, salmon, fish and chips (definitely not bland), and the kids' chicken strips. The side dishes and drinks were also very good. The atmosphere was inviting, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Service: Our waitress was wonderful and worked very hard, but the restaurant appeared to be short-staffed. I honestly felt bad for her. You could tell some of the other customers were becoming frustrated with the wait times as well. Another issue was the lack of high chairs--we had to wait for another family to leave before one became available. I would have given this restaurant 5 stars if they had more staff on hand and a few extra high chairs available. Despite those issues, the food and atmosphere were excellent, and I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu.
