Southern soul kitchen, hospitality, home cooking are the roots you can count on. We thought it was great. I love catfish po boy, and we happened to try this on 314 day (ifykyk) there was a special sandwich collab for the day. I did have a wait for my food, I think it was a fluke but the manager maybe owner offered me a free dessert for the wait issue that was very nice of them I didn't even mind my wait. Big fan of the style and the Louisiana menu. I'll be back. Love STL

Stopped in for a lunch and the catfish was our favorite. The deviled eggs were good but a little mustardy for our liking. The salad was really good. It was loaded. The restaurant is clean and simple. They were quick to bring our food out to us. Will be back for the catfish for sure

Buffalo chicken sandwich with all the fixings

Counter service fast food chicken place with friendly staff who will deliver your food at your table. I was very glad when I heard another chicken and fish place was taking over the spot of Crestwood's OG - King Edward's. Outside of the building has been redone and yes, the inside as well. While there are large screens displaying the menu and the place has clearly experienced some much needed face-lift, I was really hoping for food quality that would grab me and never let go. It is worth noting that the menu items appear to be a la carte. I love fried green tomatoes so I ordered that off of their appetizer menu and a buffalo chicken sandwich, no modification. My husband had the 3 piece fried chicken and a medium order of fries. My buffalo chicken sandwich was good but not exactly mind blowing. The chicken was lukewarm but perhaps because they were waiting for my husband's fried chicken? No, that was not it. I tried his fried chicken, it was okay and slightly warm. They could have benefited from a little more seasoning. The FGT were made of pickled tomatoes. I have nothing against pickles, I love them in fact but I like the traditional non pickled FGT. Just a preference and I don't remember seeing this noted as "pickled" on the menu. There are other things I'd like to try from here someday such as the fish and their collard greens side. I really hope my next visit is an improvement from this initial one. I haven't given up yet, that menu list has a good variety of options and I am bound to find the one.

It was very unorganized and not the cleanest place for having just opened this location. The sandwiches don't come with sides. I ordered hush puppies with high expectations and they were subpar. Everything tasted like it was seasoned the same...fries, Mac and cheese, chicken. You know what was delicious though? The fried pickles. You order at a counter and get a table number. Someone from behind the counter brings you your food. You are responsible for cleaning your own table off and getting your own boxes from an area that was not the cleanest. I adore the other location and their food truck, but this location is not it.

My first time here. I love Buffalo sauce so I ordered the Buffalo Soldier. It was really tasty. It had a large chicken breast, lettuce, pepper jack cheese, pickles, and onion straws. The flavors worked well together and it was a good size sandwich. The Grace Fries are crinkle cut and had a nice dusting of seasoning. Instead of ketchup, I used the Comeback sauce. The service was fast and friendly and the decorations were bright and fun. We'll be back.

SOGGY chicken thighs! Imagine fried chicken, but dipped in water. Yes really.

Worst fried chicken I've ever had. Not saying that to be sensational. It was SOGGY, like it was boiled in water instead of fried. Is that how it's supposed to be, or did something horrible happen to my order? Isn't fried chicken supposed to be crispy? The answer is yes. But it was not. Bleh. Trash. I tried an original chicken thigh and a hot chicken thigh. Both soggy. The Mac and cheese was average if I'm being charitable. The slaw was pretty good, as was the cornbread. The "comeback" sauce tastes like a variant of 1000 island which I'm not interest in putting on fried chicken. I was looking forward to trying this place, but it's just not good. What a bummer. And it's expensive. I spent $35 bucks for all that. I'm never going back. One and done

So, so excited that there's a closer location to me! The place was busy (second weekend it's open), but the owner and staff were on top of things! My husband ordered the Buffalo Soldier sandwich. He said it had just the right amount of ranch to cool off the buffalo. He really enjoyed it. I had the Filet-o-Grace, and it was a really good combination of flavors. We split a regular order of fries with a side of pimiento queso. Yum! The fries are well seasoned and don't "need" anything with them -- but the queso was so worth it. They have a selection of local soft drinks and alcoholic options and a few dessert options. They also have a space to get some sauces for your food. Love it and look forward to bringing someone with me to share some fried green tomatoes, as well as to work my way through the menu. Kudos, Grace!

The latest location of Grace. Dangerous because it is so much closer to home than the location the The Grove! We tried a couple of different things, including the Cajun crawfish bread which was spicy and tasty! The chicken strips are always good and the sides were fresh and well seasoned! The rest of the menu seems to mirror the original location. Sounds like brunch is coming soon, but not available yet. Space is limited because of the space, but table emptied fairly quickly when we were there. Just be a little patient and you'll be fine! We wondered if because of the way the room is laid out, that they may try just having 3 long communal tables. The location is clean and bright, with minimal decoration. The ones that we saw had fun designs. A small issue, they do charge for sauce for chicken strips (my daughter got ranch for $1) but there's a station by the drinks where you can get your own cups for free. Can't wait to eat my way through the menu!

GCF has been unfairly compared to the beloved icon, King Edward's. GCF is not like KingE nor is it trying to be. King is delicious value indulgence while GCF is trying to put a spin on that traditional comfort food, so I will judge GCF purely on taste for this review. I stopped by on a whim when I saw the parking lot was less crowded. I ordered the cat nuggets and it was what I expected. Delicious lightly breaded catfish with corn meal. The seasoning was on the salty side (I have less tolerance than most in terms of salt) so I would encourage to order a drink to go with the meal. Three out of five for now as I want to experience consistentcy and other things on the menu on planned numerous visits in the near future. Although slightly higher than competitors, prices are still reasonable.

My mom and I had a great lunch at Grace! This is super close to my house, so I'm super excited that I finally got to check it out. There's a large lot with parking, so you shouldn't have any issues with finding a spot. You order at the counter, you're given a number, and then they run the food out to you. We started with an order of fried pickles and they were delicious! They have a spice in the batter that gave them a little bit of a kick. The sauce they were served with was legit. I got the "Everything but the Kitchen Sink" salad and it was really great. I'm a huge fan of everything but the bagel seasoning and this had a good amount of it. It also came with one of their deviled eggs that everyone always talks about, so being able to try that with the salad was great. Ranch was good on the salad (always a telling sign). Their sandwiches look pretty fire so I plan on trying those next time I'm in :)

When we first arrived we were greeted by friendly staff that helped us order. We ordered the fried green tomatoes and they were so delicious. Tastier than any fried green tomatoes I have ever had. So much flavor. My wife and I split the surf and turf, which is 2 chicken wings, 4 shrimp and 2 catfish filets with 2 sides. Everything was hot fresh and delicious. Perfectly cooked and very well seasoned. We even got a chance to visit with the owner who is a very pleasant person to talk with. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Grace's new location is a evolution of their food truck. The service was attentive and nice. The food was delicious and fresh.i had the catfish - it was packed full of flavor without being greasy. I tried the cod as well. I'd say the catfish is probably their signature dish. We got an order of hush puppies for the table - crispy on outside and soft on inside with a little heat from hatch chilies. We also got a side order of Mac - so good! The buffalo soldier was just okay..

Sauces! Garlic Buffalo, whiskey bbq, ranch, bama, comeback
    Cherie R.

New location in Crestwood! They have a slightly different menu offering vs the location in Tower Grove, but all great options! I opted for the extra hot 3 tender meal with fries and a drink. It wasn't crazy spicy, but it had great flavor! The fries are crinkle cut and soo good. The sauces were all amazing - my favorites were the whiskey bbq and bama sauce. So good! The pickles here are fresh and a perfect add to hot chicken. Grace Chicken + Fish is counter serve and then you are able to find your own table. We went around 1pm on a Sunday and it was quite crowded actually, so plan accordingly! Everyone was very nice and they were bussing tables as fast as they could. Overall ambiance wasn't as chill as the one in Tower Grove, it had a very hectic vibe and felt crowded. Overall food was good and parking was easy!

The thyme and elderflower you can really taste. Food: *Crab Beignets - AMAZING!! I wanted more than 3. Had a nice crunchy crust but soft on the inside. Next the Gnocchi was Soo rich and creamy and I would definitely order this again, it is reminiscent of Mac n Cheese but elevated. Onto the Crawfish Pie, was not really sure what to expect but it delivered! Handheld flaky crust pie packed with crawfish stuffing and served with a sort of stewed tomatoes on the side.
