Lox and onion on cheese toast, lavender drink and coffee

We stumbled upon this place and it was amazing! Great food, coffee, and curated to-go goods. Very fresh and delicious

I came here and had the breakfast sandwich which was super tasty and I'd totally order again. It came out HOT with the bread freshly and deliciously toasted and had a very good flavor. The service was friendly as well. I don't however recommend the iced chai here. I found it to be somewhat flavorless. So I'm not sure what else there would be for a non coffee drinker if that's you're go-to. Would definitely come back to try more food though, as I'm sure everything on the menu is great!

Super cute cafe in Saugerties! The cafe wasn't too crowded when my group when for a later lunch, and the service was friendly and quick. There is a good amount of seating inside at tables and at the bar. I really enjoyed my lox bagel. I also got to try a few bites of The Daily which was delicious. Perfect sustenance before hiking!

Iced chai- would not recommend as it was bland

My husband and I stopped here on our way home from Hudson, NY, for some coffee and a quick bite based on the overall positive Yelp rating... maybe we had an off day or experience, but we ultimately left wanting more. In terms of customer service, it was not super friendly to us, but seemed more accommodating to the locals. Backstory: our dogs were in the car, so my husband went in ordered for us, then came out so we could switch off so I could grab the food and use the restroom. (We didn't realize it was dog friendly at first.) I walked in immediately after he walked out to stay with the dogs, and told the staff at the front, "I'm here to pay and pick up for alex." (My fault for assuming that they took names like most coffee places we've been.) I was met with an odd response, "I don't know who that is?" (Everyone else in the establishment had their food, and my husband was literally just in there... he was the only person that had yet to pay or receive food to go lol.) I can easily look past that. I ordered an iced chai with oat milk and a plain bagel with cream cheese. Unfortunately, this was truly one of the most bland chais I've ever had and it was quite small for the price point. It's important to note this chai comes premade out of a jug with the milk added in. My chai truly just tasted like watered down milk- which was disappointing. My husband got a dirty chai with whole milk ($9). He had the same response at me that his chai was "watered down" without hearing my opinion on the drink. I actually took the lid off my chai when I got back into the car to see the coloration because it tasted so much like milk and not chai. (It seems we were not the only ones who had this experience with the chai after reading other reviews.) My bagel was cold, so almost like it was a pre-packaged bagel, so it did not seem fresh whatsoever and was not something I finished. The cream cheese was good. My husband got the roasted one, which is a chicken sandwich, that he enjoyed- hence the two stars, but he found it to be minimal for the price point (around $16). Overall, while I appreciate the use of sustainable and organic products, we spent spent $40 here on food and a tip, and we were both disappointed with the drinks and food- aside from the chicken sandwich, which is a shame because others seem to truly enjoy it. On a more positive note, the ambiance was nice and the bathroom shows a lot to grit with a renovation, so maybe we just had an off experience, but unfortunately, we would not rush back as there are a lot of restaurants in the area.

Olsen and company is a must try while visiting upstate New York. What struck me most was the freshness and variety of options. I ordered a croissant and the ham and cheese sandwich. Both were quite decent and filling. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

Lucky choice for a vacation lunch while RVing in Catskill, NY at Treetopia (review to follow). Eclectic choices of beverages non alcoholic and also beer and wine. Relaxed and laid back atmosphere and a good mix of families, couples and friends dining. Had the Summer meat and cheese (burrata and prosciutto) with house made pesto. Burrata was creamy and oozing out of the ciabatta- prosciutto a little chewy but tasty. Hubby had The Melted One with Gruyere and peach and tomato jam. We shared with no leftovers.

Don't miss this! We're staying at an Airbnb literally next to this gem and walked by numerous times before stopping in (I'm not sure why). I didn't know they had breakfast until looking on here, and when I did I realized how ADORABLE it is inside! We woke up to rain this morning so we were the first ones in. The place is beautifully decorated and the three women behind the counter are friendly, helpful, and accommodating, even selling us cheese they didn't have in the case to sell, but instead taking from their own stock (we really wanted burrata). The food was delicious although I had to deconstruct my sandwich to eat it because it was too big (my own fault, I added eggs to it). They also have a small bar with wine and beer and the cutest, clean bathroom. They have items for sale and two tables for outside seating. Definitely stop in!

What a fun little eatery right off the main strip in Saugerties. We stopped in for our second breakfast. The shop is small and a little bit pricey, but not outrageous, especially considering the obviously elevated food and drink choices. My wife and I both got the breakfast sandwich on different bread choices, they were awesome. They have a pesto mayo of some kind that is out standing! I don't like eating twice at the same place when I'm vacation just to try as much variety as possible but I might have to make an exception for the excellent sandwich. My coffee was very good as well. If you wake up in Saugerties and want some thing hot and special for breakfast this is your spot.

That said, I still got a sub - they've definitely slimmed down recently, but damn it was tasty. I also got a pint of the red hot pickles, which aren't that spicy, but still tasty. The owner was nice enough, I wouldn't say friendly, but didn't snarl at me. Talbott & Arding was chosen as our first stop on our girls' getaway journey. Tucked in the Hudson Valley, just an hour from the Berkshires, it was a sweetly energetic beginning to our day. We each chose a sandwich from the counter. My smoked salmon on focaccia was a delight. The bread, airy and light, beautifully happy yeast just bounding with lift, defying the constraints of olive oil which left my fingers gloriously glistening. I haven't had a focaccia as happy as that in a minute. Super thin radish, bright pickled shallot and fresh watercress all gave a nice vibrant touch. Ben's cream cheese couldn't possibly be creamier. And the delicate, silky, fresh, luxurious salmon... What a dream. So balanced. I filled my arms with goods- iberico salami, Aleppo chili oil, Blackstrap coffee beans, local chocolates, and an adorable Talbott & Arding puzzle. (Certainly a lucky neighborhood) It looks small from the street but once you walk in, it opens up to a sizable store. He then pivoted to giving us tons of help selecting the right cheese. We sampled a couple of things and then he dialed in three choices for us to buy. (With an assist from another customer that insisted that we would love the Delice de Bourgogne) Prices were reasonable enough for the quality. We added some gourmet crackers that were neutral enough to not overpower the cheese. The next day, we made the three cheeses the focus of our lunch.
