This isn't about the taste. It's all about the safety of handling the food. They use the same gloves to handle raw and cooked food that's put into my sandwich and the same knife to cut the raw meat and cut my sandwich after the cooked meat was put into the sandwich. I first thought I saw it wrong but when I look closer at the cut side of the sandwich, i saw raw meat. This is UNACCEPTABLE regardless of how tasty the food is. Okay, so I don't give a bunch of five star reviews but hear me out. This deli isn't lavish and super nice but they deliver on their promise of a solid sandwich. I had a chicken salad with avocado on French bread (I think that's what it's called there). I loved how they hollowed out the center of the bread so all the ingredients didn't squish out and it left a nice hollow cavity with just the right amount of center soft bread with a perfectly crispy crust that wasn't too hard. Convenient place to grab a good sandwich while walking throughout the city. Unlike some other delis in town, there's no long line to order your sandwich. They have a good selection of hot and cold sandwich options, with the ability to select the type of bread it is on. I ordered the Scooby-Doo Sub and it was good. The chicken was warm and crispy, however the bacon was very chewy and seemed like it was sitting out for awhile. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and they added a good amount of mayo so the sandwich wasn't dry. You also have the ability to add additional toppings to your sandwich, just like subway. The fresh made juices are refreshing specially now in the summer. I have a ginger allergy so it's nice that you can customize the juices.
