    The King

Solid sandwich spot- just DONT get anything with bacon. HUGE hero portions- I got The King Hero for just $10. Turkey and cheese was delicious, lettuce and tomato were fresh. The bacon was really stretchy and clearly old/reheated, but it was still a hefty sandwich after picking it out. Need to try the cold cut sandwiches! Pretty small convenience store inside with a juice bar. Employees are short and gruff but not rude.

Double Sausage Egg & Cheese on Roll

Good local deli serving your daily needs from a hearty breakfast to a cold cut sandwich. On my recent two trips to my doctor nearby, I had the Chopped Cheese Sandwich and a Sausage Egg & Cheese on a roll. The Chopped Cheese was quite delicious, though I found it a bit closer to chili because of the strong tomato sauce flavor. I wish it was cheesier, but that's a small complaint, still tasty. As for the Sausage Egg & Cheese, I got two patties and two eggs, which filled out the soft roll perfectly. Should have gotten double cheese too. Regardless, what this sandwich should be, unlike the one around the corner at Johnny's Luncheonette.

After some drinking, we came by here for some Chopped Cheese ($11.50 on a hero). The chopped cheese is super greasy, but delicious. The meat is infused with a taco seasoning here, so has a Mexican flair. All the vegetables were fresh and made for a great late night meal. Plus, it's open 24/7!

Fries were real dry & seemed double fried - kinda like the paninis are where they're premade / pressed & then warmed up on the spot which they do by microwave & maybe on the grill (couldn't really see that past). But my tuna panini was way soggy & not even a bit toasted or grilled on the bread. Of course all the toppings are soft & wet sitting in the tuna all day. Worst 9$ I spent on a panini. Don't not get the paninis instead try for something made fresh. The omelet was good w/ the cheese & veggies. Didn't like the home fries - they were soft & not crispy at all.

The famous "Chopped Cheese"! It was a given that I was going to find one and see what all the hype was about. This deli just so happened to be a block away from my hotel. Let me be honest and say that I quickly googled to see if there was a nearby place I could try instead, just because of what the place looked like, but I'm glad I decided to stay. I was completely shocked when I saw how fresh their veggies looked. I was not expecting that! As this was my first time trying a chopped cheese, I didn't even know what came on it. The guy making it said that the best way to try it for the first time was how it's originally made and I shouldn't worry about what all came on it. Believe you me..he was right. It was sooo good! Like what?! Where has this been all my life? If you just so happen to take a trip over to Manhattan, NY., you gotta try a chopped cheese from here. You won't regret it!

Thought I got a bacon egg and cheese with lettuce, not sure if they heard wrong or I said wrong but got a BLT instead. That was totally fine since it tasted great! Not too long a wait, place was stocked up! Overall a good takeout pick-me-up.

I was craving a delicious green drink... and by that I mean, kale, spinach, green apple, cucumber, yada yada yada... They make the juice fresh , I thought it was very nice and had a tremendous kick a fresh ginger. They do have other delectable items, juices, sandwiches chips . But if you're looking for a nice boost of something healthy, go for one of their fresh juices or smoothies .

Great bacon and egg cheese!! Would go back for that. We tried the chopped cheese as well. Disappointing. I recommend Blue Sky Del (Haiiji's) for the best deli chopped cheese. We ended up throwing most of our chopped cheeses away from here. It's big and has a lot on it, but was lacking flavor and the meat didn't taste seasoned well. But again, great bacon egg and cheese, well balanced!

My husband has been wanting a chopped cheese in New York and this place was near our hotel. The chopped cheese was very good. We ordered it as a on a hero. It was very filling and a great value. This place also sold other deli sandwiches, smoothies, and other various snacks. I would come back here.

Stopped in here to grab fresh juice. Fast, friendly, well priced and delicious! Had the large #1 - Olympia Green.

Convenient place to grab a good sandwich while walking throughout the city. Unlike some other delis in town, there's no long line to order your sandwich. They have a good selection of hot and cold sandwich options, with the ability to select the type of bread it is on. I ordered the Scooby-Doo Sub and it was good. The chicken was warm and crispy, however the bacon was very chewy and seemed like it was sitting out for awhile. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and they added a good amount of mayo so the sandwich wasn't dry. You also have the ability to add additional toppings to your sandwich, just like subway. For the price, I was a bit disappointed it wasn't as delicious as some of the reviews mentioned, but it was good and filling.

I pretty much visit Olympias for the awesome pressed juices.. I order the same Olympia Green which consists of spinach, kale, ginger, apple and I gave them add a splash of pineapple. Their juices and smoothies run @$5.95 for small and $6.95 for large. The deli also offers a variety of sandwiches, platters, salads etc. It's located in the heart of Flatiron. My go to for pressed juices, fast and good customer service.

Our go-to place for coffee, breakfast sandwiches and delicious fresh fruit smoothies. Fresh salads, snacks to go. Can't beat the prices for fresh food in Manhattan. Very pleased that the cashier admitted he miscalculated the items I was buying. He was honest. He added up the order again and it was $7 cheaper.

Egg and cheese on a roll. Green smoothie. They're wonderful and fast and I look forward to popping in every time I'm in NY for work.

The most disgusting chop cheese ever. It tastes like chili meat on a roll. Spices are weird. Very greasy. Waste of 10 dollars.

We got the limonata and mandarino to drink and the la toscana and la paradiso for our sandwiches. They are massive so prepare for leftovers. La Toscana- The foccacia is soft and fluffy. You get savory salame toacano, pecorino, and truffle honey that ties the flavors together. La Laradiso- The mortadella is tasty and given in generous amounts. The stracciatella, pistachio cream, and pistachio bits add a depth of flavor and texture. Limonata and Mandarino- This was sweet, fruity, and refreshing. Hits the spot after walking around all morning. Love the vintagr can designs! Great experience overall!

Someone order a Hot Italian? Here I am…read more The legendary Florentine sandwich shop achieved global fame by earning some of the highest praise in food journalism for its massive, fresh-baked schiacciata sandwiches. Google their name and "best" and get hundreds of hits, but the majors who crowned them "best sandwich" title include Saveur Magazine, the big one touted by the family; Eater NY, ranking La Paradiso the most elite Italian sandwich outside of Italy; Las Vegas Weekly, who crowned them "Home of the world's best sandwiches"; TripAdvisor, for whom the Italian original is the most reviewed eatery with a near perfect rating; and The Infatuation NYC guides who promise the execution of the crispy, airy schiacciata bread completely justifies the hype. All 17 options looked amazing, so I spoke to a regular in line, telling her I couldn't decide between "La Paradiso", the most praised (even though she informed me "mortadella is just bolonie" or the Hot Italian, which was more my style. So, I did what any gluttonous American would do and I got both. And a Diet Coke, of course. La Paradiso has thinly sliced bolonie for a savory base, with creamy shredded stacciatella cheese, with sweet but earthy pistachio cream, and a sprinkle of toasted pistachio for texture (that I didn't detect). The Hot Italian had thin, lean turkey, spicy and smoky spreadable Calabrian pork sausage, a balancing provolone, calabrian chili honey, and peppery arugula (that they claim adds crunch that I didn't detect). Were they life-changing? No. But I rank Paradiso a 8.8 and Hot Italian a 10. And because everyone is hard-working and everything is so freshly prepared and cut, it's a class act. They should seriously make a sign that says, "Can't decide? Get two!" and then give me free sandwiches on my yearly trips for the idea.

We ducked here to grab some nourishment before I became to hangry. Ordering takes place at the counter then grab a table. I had a 1/2 bowl of their "famous chicken soup" and 1/2 pastrami sandwich. Had good flavor and was enough to warm me up on this brisk morning. My niece did a bagel, and after trying all week she finally got one exactly how she wanted it made. We ate and chilled for a bit, no plans for the day other than making it to the airport to go home. Was able to people watch and catch up without feeling rushed to leave. Saw locals come through, so you know it is a place worth stopping. The staff were nice and even apologized for not being able to give me the soup I wanted in a half order. Date of visit: April 14, 2026…read more Our friend wanted to go to a real New York deli during her first trip to the city and this is the one in the vicinity of Times Square and our evening show that was the highest rated according to my fellow Yelpers, but I am not quite sure why based on our experience. Things did start out great, with Boudjema being very friendly and helpful as we placed our order. And once we got seated, we were able to fully appreciate the vibe, both in the primarily 70s playlist, but also the mirror and brass touches across the restaurant. Food-wise, however, there were some definite opportunities. My Roasted Turkey sandwich did come on quite possibly the best rye bread I have ever had, warm and flavorful. But while the gravy was also good, the turkey was cold. This odd temperature mismatch made it hard to appreciate the generous portion of meat on the sandwich. We also ordered some tater tots and those were quite good. While it definitely could have been worse--and I've had worse in New York City--this also could have been so much better.
