Uh oh, better call the brand police: this restaurant is using the Olympic rings to promote itself. It's OK, though, because they're actually Greek, so they can get away with it. Plus, they've been doing it for 20+ years -- a fact that becomes obvious as soon as you walk into the joint. If any authorities need to be called, it's the fashion police: this place is in dire need of a Restaurant Makeover. Wonderful pizza! How do they make the crust? I usually don't eat the outer crust on a pizza, but alway devour this one. We always order a half House / half Meat Lovers pizza with a carafe of their house red wine. Always friendly service, and they have an outdoor patio. Love it!!! read more

EPIC FAIL! I had previously written a review about how Olympia Pizza is great in the restaurant, but horrible on delivery. The manager wrote back to me and assured us of the improvements in the delivery, including new thermal delivery packs. Today we decided to give their delivery another try and one hour later the delivery man calls and wants our address because he "forgot" to get it from the restaurant. We gave him the address and buzzer code, but either he did not have anything to write with or was driving. Half hour later the pizza is still not here. Called the restaurant and the person answering the phone was polite, but the only response I got was " I am sorry, if your pizza does not arrive in the next 20 minutes or so, give us a call and we will see what we can do". Not an adequate response for someone who is going to have to skip dinner or make alternate arrangements. read more

Called and ordered a pizza on Friday evening at 7:00 pm. Was told it would be here in 45 minutes to an hour. At 9:00 pm I was still waiting for my pizza. I called and was told they are running behind. I asked to cancel my order and was abruptly hung up on. No apologies or sorry we didn't call you to tell you it will take longer. Just had dinner here for the first time this week and I can honestly say that it's the best pizza I've had in a long time. I had the smoked ham, mushroom and cheese pizza and everything about it was crafted to perfection. The cheese was melted just right so that it was soft without being too runny. The mushroom and ham was also baked inside the cheese, which was a nice touch and shows that some thought was put into designing the pizza. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also great. The open air layout (at least in the summertime) and the simple acoustic music gives the restaurant a very Mediterranean feel. Finally, the service was excellent. The waitress and the busgirls were friendly, attentive, and prompt. All in all, a great restaurant and a great experience--would go again! read more

Went there once and was not impressed. The restaurant was empty, and it took over an hour to get two items to the table. The waitress disappeared after taking our order and never came around again, not even to offer us a refill or a glass of water. The other staff was behind the bar gossiping and swearing. I have been here quite a few times and the pizza is good, but the service is absolutely terrible, the worst of any restaurant. When you go there you seat yourself and often you have to sit at a table that has not been cleared, and sometimes you have to wait 15 minutes for a server to even acknowledge you. I have gone to this place several times and sat myself with a friend and we have gotten up and left because no one bothered to come over. I have seen other people do this too. The food often takes up to an hour or more to arrive and when you do get it the server hardly ever comes by to check on you, usually because they are understaffed. Also the restaurant is totally outdated, and it is weird when you go to the washroom you have to go through the kitchen to get there. If you're ok with getting awful service in a dumpy restaurant but you are craving a decent pizza then this place is worth checking out. The prices aren't too bad though. read more

I wouldn't have even given them a star. I ordered my food with them and had made orders before. The food has always been mediocre, but I asked them this time because my buzzer wasn't working to call a different number for delivery and we would come down. Well about 40 mins later we got a very angry call saying do you want your food or what. We had been waiting by the phone and had no prior calls. We were told that they were downstairs and we went to meet them and then waited for over a half hour. When I got back up I still didn't have my food and asked them what happened why do we keep waiting when they very rudely told me my food was here and then the guy told me to F++=O++. Friday dinner, the place is busy and the wait was about 10 minutes for table for two. The server is nice and attentive but very busy. She brings water with lemon without us asking, which I appreciated a lot. Dinner is a bit slow to arrive - I think they didn't have enough kitchen staff. We get fried goat cheese (saganaki?) and fried kalamari first. The cheese was amazing, great with the fresh pita. I wasn't too impressed by the kalamari. The batter seems old and the pieces were very small - I was eating more batter than the squid. The saving grace is their incredibly tasty and refreshing tzatsiki. I think it's the best I ever had. I ordered extra, which is worth it for just 50 cents. Then the roast lamb is pretty good. Not greasy at all and the bones come right off. The rice and potatoes on the side were nothing to brag about. They were just fillers, but the Greek salad was plenty with lots of feta cheese. Roast lamb was on special for just $14 so it was a good deal. The two of us shared two appetizers and roast lamb and we were very full and happy. read more

I ordered a shrimp pizza with extra shrimp and a greek salad. Not only was there no extra shrimp (which I paid for) there were many slices that just didnt have any on it at all. I could have just ordered a veggie pizza and got the same results. Also the pizza was not fully cooked, the cheese was not fully melted and the dough was, well raw doughy. The service was slow and the food wasn't very good at all. We ordered wine and it took the waiter until our food came to bring it out. My pasta came with noodles and a blob of flavorless red sauce just dumped in the middle of the plate. We ordered a salad and they served us a bowl of iceberg lettuce with no salad dressing. And when we asked for dressing, the waitress looked at us as if she didn't know what we were talking about, and brought us the smallest little container of dressing I've ever seen. To sum it up: An overall disappointing dining experience. When you walk into a restaurant, you expect to be greeted right away and for the hostess to ask how many in your party. My bf and I walked in and no one said anything to us for a good 7-8 minutes. A bad first impression. We were finally greeted and told there'd be a table available on the patio shortly. The service was really slow and inefficient. I believe in the principle that servers should leave the kitchen with their hands full and come back with their hands full of either empty dishes or checks to deliver. This principle was def not practiced at Olympia. After waiting a good 30+ minutes for our food...our dishes come out warm. NOT Great! I was also turned off by particles at the bottom of my pint of beer. Bleh. I hate to recommend a chain restaurant over a local one, but the food at Opa! is soo much better than what I ate at this restaurant. I'll continue to go to Opa! for my Greek food fix. read more

Amazing does not even begin to describe our experience here. The food was beyond fantastic. Greek food in general can be hit or miss but we will definitely be back. They have some non-Greek food that looked great also. My wife's lamb was amazingly juicy and fell straight off the bone. My Souvlaki was perfect and my rice was phenomenal. The Cesar dressing on my salad was easily some of the best I've ever had. It's a tiny restaurant and I easily didn't expect it to be this good. Such a lucky find! read more
