    Chicken dinner with stuffing, gravy
    Catherine R.

What a gem! First visit . We both got the Lemon Chicken Soup...perfection. Fresh, warm pita bread brought to the table. He got the chicken dinner with stuffing and gravy and a side of traditional Greek potatoes. Excellent. I got the Greek Combo dinner and it was fantastic. Stuffed grape leaves, Moussaka, Spanokopesda, Pastitsio...so, so good. We split a piece of Baklava warmed and extra honey drizzled over. Service was great, ambiance is warm and homey - lots of Greek pride. We will most definitely be back.

Olympic Cafe has always been a favorite of mine while visiting Anna Maria Island and Holmes Beach. However, sad to say, this time was the exception. The ambiance is definitely Greek with lots of Greek memorabilia on the walls. The service was excellent although they were closed unexpectedly the day before due to a staffing issue. The food wasn't up to its usual standards. The Gyro was dry and the cabbage roll was tasteless. I won't be back this trip, but I will give them another shot when we're back in the new year. To bad as our party expands tomorrow to ten people.

Great Greek Salad I love Greek salads, the dressing carries such bold flavor. Include some feta cheese and kalamata olives and you have an explosion of good tastes, and there is so much more. From traditional to whatever other ingredients work, it is a bowl of bright colors and flavors. Lettuce, no lettuce, onions for sure, as are tomatoes and cukes. The one I had today from Olympic Café even had a few banana peppers. I fondly remember one where there was a scoop of potato salad on top. The Greek Salad I had at Olympic Café ranks very well. It was on a deep plate or a shallow bowl, looking very attractive. I enjoyed making the whole thing disappear. The last part, swimming in dressing, was the best part for me. Where's my spoon? I liked the place and the service was friendly and good. The tables are close together, like pre-covid spacing, I hope we don't go back to that too soon. They also added a small service charge for using a credit card. I didn't look at the menu, maybe it disclosed that. I found out when I went up pay.

The salad is very big and the pita appetizer was delicious. The service was very good too.

Wholesome family restaurant; very busy but still great service. They were very accommodating to making changes to meals for the little ones (just bowl of plain pasta with butter and Parmesan cheese, and fries). The portions are pretty hearty, most of us had leftovers to take home. The eggplant Parmesan was filling and tasty. Definitely recommend getting the gyros platter.

Great place, the best in Bradenton. Greek homemade cooking at its best. We liked it. Very crowded by locals.

Left much to be desired…read more Headed over during sunset and were so looking forward to dinner overlooking the water. The vibes were really nice with live music so we were hopeful. First disappointment was the timing. Everything took so long and our food order was not taken until way after we received our drinks. Second disappointment was the food itself. The fries and clam chowder were good, as was the crab cake sandwich. The fried grouper sandwich was bland and didn't have any sauce, I needed to order tartar sauce on the side. Oysters were fine but nothing special, I like horseradish so that was missing for me. I also love spicy margaritas and while the flavor was almost there, my margarita definitely wasn't spicy and didn't come with a tajin rim as requested. Service was fine, just slow overall. We are from out of town and won't likely return. Cute restaurant though, maybe we came on an off day.

We first ordered drinks and those came pretty quick. I ordered the Marker 45 salad with grilled shrimp. Salad was delicious with blueberries, pecans, goat cheese, craisins and mango. Shrimp was just a tad overcooked but still tasty. Other orders included gumbo, clam chowder, grouper bites and grouper sandwich. I tasted the grouper bites and was not impressed. Both soups got thumbs up from my friends. My husband liked his shrimp tacos. The house cab was decent as well. While I wouldn't rush back to this restaurant I would not hesitate to eat there again.
