Full disclosure, I've only been for brunch. That being said, the food was mediocre, the service atrocious, & the place itself left a bit to be desired. I'm always down to give a shot to the new, smaller places but this place was a mess. The layout was cluttered & compact. Don't bother trying to go with a group of more than 3 or 4. Don't go if you're in a rush, & good luck keeping your coffee full. My friends raved about the place, but I just didn't have that experience. Hopefully with time they get things together. read more

Tried this place out tonight after a friend told my wife and I about it. Wife had the spinach pie and I had a gyro I wont be to hard on them as it is not a Greek restaurant. The spinach pie my wife enjoyed very much, myself the gyro I have had better. I am spoiled from the ones at gyro palace on woodman ave in dayton as they are legit. The service was great and food was plated very appealing. I will go back and try other items like maybe a Coney or something. I do recommend giving this place a shot. read more

It is hard to find a decent restaurant in Springfield, Ohio. There are the cookie cutter chains, of course, but hardly anywhere with well prepared food. The Olympic is a diner. It is very small and sometimes crowded. The food is always exactly as it should be. It is well prepared and served with a smile. I have had many menu items, but today I had a hamburger,cole slaw, and coffee. The hamburger is 1/4 pound, not the idiotic half pound burgers found many places these days. The meat was fresh and well prepared. It was accompanied with a generous slice of a very good tomato, especially given the time of year, and generous amounts of lettuce, onion and just the right amount of mayonnaise. The cole slaw was homemade and perfect. The wait staff people were really busy, but they were attentive, efficient, and courteous. The price was excellent. I will be happy to return to this delightful little place. I often enjoy the Greek items, but there are many traditional American items from which to choose. read more

I have been twice. And Don't think it is that great. Both times I was there workers family's was there and they just wanted to talk. Think maybe management should put a stop to that. And workers smoking in front of the building. Not a good look. Needs to work on being more professional. read more

Went to Olympic Coney this evening and had a nice dining experience. Service was fast, and the food was well prepared. They have a good selection- coneys, burgers, gyros, spaghetti, etc. My husband and son had coney's and I had a gyro. The highlight for me though was the Saganaki- anything involving cheese and fire is great (seriously though, it was good!). It's a very nice change from the chain restaurants in town. read more

Very pricey ordered 5 cheese Coneys french fries two iced teas $20.90 . Hot dogs taste like they were in sausage casings Coney sauce tasted like Hormel chili paid $0.50 per Coney extra for a pinch of cheese waitress tried to over bill us $8 until I brought it to her attention and she corrected it. A older gentleman with an accent running the register was barking orders to the wait staff as he was checking out customers not very professional should not be interacting with the public! Not bad. They have a menu with about everything you can think of. From gyros to spaghetti, breakfast food, burgers and chili cheese fries. I had a Greek salad and a gyro (on special for $8.50) and my dad had the gyro and chili cheese fries. Everything was good but I would not order the chili cheese fries again. Great food and service but it was nothing special. Small family style restaurant for casual meals. The breakfast meals were slightly confusing if you wanted to add a side because it could change ur to a different combo meal. Loved the home fries. Food was on. Was expecting a place that had tons of different kinds of coneys but it didn't. They serve breakfast and everything. Only down side is you have to purchase every item separate instead of an item coming with sides. But overall was ok. read more

This was a fun place to stop for lunch with a variety of options for our family. It was busy while we were there, so the serving staff was bustling about and trying to keep up with the tables. The fried cheese thing from the appetizer menu (saganaki?) was fun and tasty and we all enjoyed our lunch selections. Not worth your time or your money. Stopped by for lunch during a road trip to Springfield for the big flea market at the fairgrounds. Should have just eaten something from a food truck there. This place serves canned coney sauce on their coneys. The gyro meat on the gyro was marginal at best. Place was full of flies and there were too many waitresses chatting behind the counter to bring us refills on our drinks. I've been to plenty of Greek diners and other than the name there is nothing Greek about this place. Don't understand where the four and five star reviews are coming from for this place other than from their own staff. read more

My boyfriend and I went in thinking it was just going to be a hot dog joint. It was a sit down restaurant with friendly servers. The food is very good! We both tried the coney dog, which is very good. The fries were seasoned perfectly and crispy out the outside, soft on the inside. The menu offers so much more than a coney restaurant. Wow. I love this place. Best burgers in town. Amazing fish sandwich. And I just had breakfast for the first time. The half order pancake special today.
