The outside of this place is what caught my eye. Looked old fashioned and figured they must have a great spot.... Upon entering I noticed how dirty this whole place was. Flies, Things feeling sticky, the set up of it seemed unsanitary and many violations seen here.. the meat sitting outside in a pile by the grill looked like it been sitting for awhile, messy kitchen, set up and grill seemed dirty like it hadn't been wiped down in forever... the burgers are small and mediocre, no fries either. The price is not much but disappointing in the taste and quality. I had also ordered a chili dog but it was sent out with hamburger buns and chopped up dog and bland chili. It did not look appetizing, just messy and bland. Over by the soda machine they have buckets and a mess. First and last time coming here. Some of the locals will tell you this is the best place ever but really it's all they even know and deem as "great" this place is dirty, small burgers,dusty and Bland. My tennis shoes stuck to the floor under the booth because someone had spilled their coke in 1978 and floors haven't been mopped since. Service was adequate because we were the only patrons ordering that day. Cookie didn't wear gloves or hairnet. A mountain of raw meat was in a tub beside the nasty grill. No fries or onion rings. Not even a deep fryer was seen. Burger was okay but it was small. I thought it was served on a biscuit instead of a bun. 2 cheeseburgers, 2 bags of chips and two colas cost me nearly $30.00. Locals like this place. Us not so much. We've lived in Waxahachie five years and tried it for the first time last week. One and done. No going back. read more

Well from the outside it doesn't look like much and on the inside, nothing much! What there is is a simple little burger joint owned and operated by a family. Granddaughter at the cash register taking orders, grandma on the grill and I'm guessing it's mom running around in between. It's not the greatest burger I've ever had but, what it is is like you would make at home. The difference is, you didn't have to make it! No fries here just chips. The sweet tea is a Peak machine but, it'll suffice. It is a very busy place. Very popular but, service is quick as the menu is limited and it seems everyone is there for some form of burger. It's very busy and they are very nice even though they have New York-type personalities. It's fun and delicious. Heads up: Everything is a la cart. No combo meals and no French fries.
