Cheese grits, bacon and eggs with a side of corn beef hash.
Lisa S.

Stopped here on a whim looking for simple breakfast with the family. It was a seat yourself kind of small town place. We ordered and the food came quickly and was crazy hot. My husband went with a Philly Omelette and hash browns and I had the cheese grits, bacon and eggs. Food was a good portion and was lightly seasoned (I definitely prefer more flavor). When we went to get our check the waitress told us the table beside us had paid for our breakfast. That was amazingly and had never happened to me before. Thank you for the guy in the restaurant that day!! I would recommend the restaurant and will be back.

Seat yourself. Always packed. Service is good for the amount of customers vs the amount of staff. Food is always great.

The shrimp and grits was okay but I would've opted out the grits if I would've known they were made with milk, well they tasted like they were made with milk and I'm use to them being made without milk taste. The service was great my sever was very nice. The place was very noisy with the radio and customers talking loud . The restaurant was clean

Belgium Waffle with Chicken Fingers, Country Fried Steak and Eggs, French Toast, Curly Fries, Biscuit

My husband and I decided to give this place a try for breakfast. The staff was great, very quick and friendly. Additionally the building was clean and had a classic diner feel. Now, as far as the food, we weren't very impressed. We wanted to try a variety and ordered the country fried steak and eggs, which came with hash browns and toast (I substituted a biscuit for 75¢), and the Belgium waffle with chicken fingers. We also got a side of curly fries and a piece of French Toast to try. The steak and the chicken were very thin pieces, mostly consisting of batter. I should have asked for the hash browns to be extra crispy, as they were barely cooked. The Belgium waffle was okay but didn't really taste like anything. Fries, eggs, biscuit and French Toast were average, about what you would get at any diner. I will say some of the other items that came from the kitchen looked good, specifically some burgers we saw ordered at another table. We will go back to try lunch but will likely not go back for breakfast again.

Over priced, mediocre food. $30 for just my husband and I to eat breakfast. Won't be going back.

The food was great, especially the grits and bacon. Service was slow which led me to rate my visit as 4 stars.

Decor is very nice, the use of pallets to hang lights, colorful chalk menu highlighting the summer drinks, photos highlighting collaborations with local farms. BATHROOMS: very clean, multiple large single stall units FOOD: they had a good selection of food. I think how full you get depends on what you order. I ordered a half sandwich and half soup combo. It was a thicc bread with two pieces of ham and a tomato, 1 slice of guyere. The soup was in a tiny ramikin, with 1 tiny baggie of crackers. My husband ordered a breakfast combo that included a full sized waffle, scrambled eggs, and two chicken apple sausage patties. On the side, we each ordered "million dollar bacon" which was essentially 4 slices of sugared bacon with some sort of drizzle sauce. They were delicious, but not $6 dollar and some change worth for 4 pieces of bacon.. I was a little interested in their honey biscuits they were promoting but I didn't want to spend any more money. The morning meditation drink and kale tonic were delicious. THE BILL: we were told to scan the QR code to pay, but he had come here the previous day with his company after PT as a bonding thing, and found out the QR code doesn't work. For the two of us, the bill was almost $65 and I left hungry. VERDICT: I don't know if I'd come here again, but if I did, I'd definitely choose something else to eat to make sure I'm full.

We looked over the menu , our drinks arrived and Ms. Donna was ready to take out orders. Two of us ordered The NY Style Cheesecake Waffle w/Chicken 2 Shrimp and Grits and one Signature Chicken and Waffles . We were told that they were out of Fried Green Tomatoes and Fried Pickles but Ms.Donna double checked and we received a fresh order. Everyone seemingly enjoyed their meals. I enjoyed both waffle most. Great texture and flavor! The chicken was hit, fresh and crispy but if you're don't like heavy batter you won't like it... It reminds you of like a beer batter typically served on fish.... It's work a try! Id like to try some other meny items if I was in the area again!

A…read morebright, clean locally owned diner, very friendly service, and a steady stream of customers on this July 4th Eve. I blame the slow food arrival on the heavy take out and delivery orders, which might be a problem if you dine here on your lunch break. My friend recommended the Shrimp and grits as delicious! When I inquired as to who their shrimp supplier was the waitress informed me "they came in on a truck from Atlanta". Not serving Georgia shrimp in this coastal Georgia county? No thank you to the farm raised shrimp, and minus a star for not buying local. I settled on the Bee Bacon Cheese burger. It arrived missing the bacon, with a sad looking slice of tomato, the hamburger patty appearing pre-patted frozen, as well as the typical frozen crinkle fries. Frankly, the hamburger reminded me of and tasted like the school cafeteria variety. The seasoning on the crinkle fries was a sad attempt to elevate their frozen status. And, it's summertime and tomato season. Why bother serving a hamburger with an underripe tomato? Lastly, there's no excuse for a local business to not support the local, nearby shrimping industry. Buy local and serve Georgia shrimp.

After we ordered, we chose to eat inside. This places gets a lot of foot traffic and is definitely a local fav! Unfortunately, for us, only the chicken tasted like it had some good flavor to it, everything else looked good, but was missing something. I'd still go back and try again, there seems to be a rotating menu. I will say that the chicken is delicious! It has to be their specialty. We tried almost every available chicken options the day we went except for the baked version. For two plates and two drinks, we paid about $35. And they were not light on the portions! The grits, which are surprisingly hard to get right, might be the best I've ever had. The bacon was perfectly crispy, the biscuit was soft and fresh, and there was more than enough for both of us to share. The vibes here are like having breakfast at your favorite auntie's house--warm, relaxed, and full of love. There's even a TV in the corner with gentle background noise, which somehow just completes the whole experience. Our server was so kind and patient, taking time to explain the options and make us feel welcome. This place is a true community treasure--thoughtfully run, consistently delicious, and full of heart.
