On Saturday mornings, I typically like to try new coffee spots. This week, I came across Omen Coffee and decided to try it as it's only a short distance from where I live. I very much enjoyed it! First and foremost, my coffee was great which is the main priority for me but I was incredibly impressed with the atmosphere! The space was big and open with a cute bar and tons of tables. People were there meeting and working and it just gave off amazing vibes. The workers were so kind as well. There were only two people working so it took a little long but literally it was no problem at all. They apologized for the delay but the vibes in there were so great it truly didn't even phase me. They greeted everyone that walked in and even said goodbye to me by name when leaving. I'll definitely be back!
Dipped in to get an iced coffee and chai latte while we awaited our food from @thebiscuitjoint. Great flavor and great service! It was very large and had a great ambiance for work, meetings, or an afternoon coffee meet up!
Wow! This is such a welcoming and comfortable spot. This whole place is a vibe. I can see why they were busy on an early Saturday afternoon. Both staff immediately welcomed me as I entered and it was so genuine, like a verbal hug. Kudos to Sarah for being an amazing human. The ambiance is cozy industrial, with a mix of high ceilings, exposed pipes and ductwork, yet lots of plants and comfy seating that supports conversations. There is free street parking but pay attention to the signs regarding parking. Some spots further down the block have meters while others don't. They have a good selection of coffee, cold brew, lattes and non-coffee drinks. My cold brew with coconut cold foam was really yummy. They carry a small selection of baked goods and yogurt/granola bowls. There is a variety of seating: including at the bar, couches, tables that have a padded bench on one side and chairs on the other. There is plenty of space to move around if you are mobility challenged or a wheelchair user. You won't feel cramped here. The bathrooms are gender neutral, pretty, and disabled accessible. I wish this wasn't so far away from me, as I would visit here often.

This place is super chill and I love how the matcha isn't too sweet when requested. It was so delicious too. It's a good place to study since the place closes late.

First off, they get more stars than next door because their music is at a reasonable level. The coffee is good and there's a variety of seating arrangements. The service was good too and the prices seemed reasonable.
One of the baristas here turned me on to a dirty iced chai with oat milk and a pump of lavender and it had been my drink of the summer anywhere I go. Tbh though, no one does it like Omen! Loved the pastries and my friend enjoyed her iced tea. It's nice there are enough tables to sit and catch up or do some work with their free wifi.

Okay - I'll give it to them. Beautiful coffee shop, clean aesthetic, and lots of great seating. The people who helped us seemed nice, a little off with their interactions, but I didn't think too much about it. Coffee was good but not super memorable. Bathrooms were clean. They were quick in service. BUT as someone who lives a mile from here, I like to look at who owns what in the area and what their vibe is. We want to make sure we're supporting the right owners to grow this beautiful city so we don't have more issues like we had in the Grove in 2020. Big mistake. They have a "Men's Group" every Wednesday which....is super icky. Their whole website is basically preaching God quietly, so you don't realize you're supporting an Uber Christian business. I literally asked my brother if they were a cult. The owner posts some questionable things on his social media that I don't condone and will not be able to support his business over. Please do your research on this spot. I have no ties to his competitors in the area, look at my reviews - I'm a heavy supporter of the local food community and economy, but I do have friends who are in the LGBTQ+ community and this is not a safe place for minorities.
Surprisingly expansive, Midtown coffee spot with some of the friendliest people you will find in the area. When you walk in, you will be greeted by staff. The ordering is done towards the back. Nice menu of traditional and unique items. Space had about 12 people working on various tasks. Lots of open space and it was quiet. Looks like a great place to work. I ordered a cappuccino to go... excellent coffee. Well executed drink.
We really enjoyed our stop here during our trip to St. Louis. We ordered breakfast from the neighboring restaurant (biscuit love) and had it delivered over here to eat. They have a large space with various seating options: tables with chairs, couches, and booths. They did an amazing job of decoration. A mix of rich woods, clean white marble with real plants filling in the spaces. Very tasteful and totally my vibe! Bathrooms are super clean and welcoming, aesthetically on point to align with the rest of the space. Oh, and can't forget the coffee. so tasty! My mother in law got the coconut latte. She said it was the best she's ever had. I had the coconut americano, also, delicious. Standard "coffee house" pricing, aka $$$ but happy to pay for a great coffee with cozy, comfortably and aesthetically vining kinda place. Stop by if you're in the area.

I live in Illinois but love to stop here when I am in St. Louis. It's got a friendly atmosphere and great ambiance. This is a great asset to the local community. read more
I was hesitant to give Omen a try. Why you ask? First, I had heard it was a coffee shop for bible thumpers. Second, I couldn't grasp the name. If they're religious, why name your shop after a movie that is about Satans child. Once I visited, all of those concerns were pushed aside. As I entered, I was immediately greeted by an associate working behind the bar. It was a generic greeting since I was not a known customer. While I enjoyed my Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso, other customers got a greeting with their name. The space is spacious. It's very minimalist and very bright from the large windows. I liked the contemporary furniture. I was also impressed how super clean the entire cafe was. However, what impressed me the most was how inclusive the customers were. I would have never thought a religious coffee shop would be so welcoming to the alternative lifestyle. While I enjoyed my Espresso and Blueberry donut, I also enjoyed the eye candy. I'd say a third of those enjoying coffee and working on their computers play for the same team that I do. To my surprise, one of them was from my past of twenty years ago. So I send a thank-you, to Omen for reconnecting us. Will I be back? When I'm in the area, I'll stop by. I enjoyed my drink and the Blueberry Donut. The service was good and professional. Such a nice place with nice staff! I took one star away because I had asked if they could do a regular chai with oat milk and they said yes and then gave me a dirty one. I didn't ask for a receipt so I didn't ask them to change it but as I was leaving, one of the baristas asked if it was okay since it was still half full and once I said I think it was different than what I ordered but it was okay, she made me a new one to go. Such a nice place and sweet staff! read more
Really lovely ambiance - the set up and design is very minimalist and modern but still warm and welcoming at the same time! The service was incredibly friendly and efficient, our server in particular was very welcoming and friendly. I ordered a brown sugar shaken espresso with oat milk and made with decaf espresso and it was delightful! This business has been open for 7 months but it already seems well liked and well established! Overall, I had a lovely experience! read more

This is a spacious coffee shop close to the midtown/downtown area. I came here a couple of nights ago, and I enjoyed my time there. The coffee shop is spacious, and I heard from Mark (the barista) that if the shop gets super busy, they open up the second and the first-floor seating area, but often, the first floor is open daily. When I was there, I ordered an iced caramel latte with a pasty (it was a "morning" pastry; I couldn't remember the full name, lol). The coffee was strong and delicious, and the pasty was good, too. I like the chill vibe of this coffee shop. Many people were there doing their work on their laptops, and it was a reasonably quiet coffee shop. Mark is an excellent barista, and he was super friendly. I highly recommend this place because it's a vibe, but Mark is also a great person to see! read more

What a great gem to add to downtown! My first time at Omen and it instantly stole my heart. The decor is beautiful and minimalistic which I love. The service was awesome, Mark was so nice and really engaging with his customers which I loved. My cup of coffee was delicious and nicely presented they had some yummy breakfast pastries to nosh on too and a local Greek yogurt parfait. I will be coming back again. Head downtown and give it a try STL! read more

Such a great place! Really open, full of sunlight and legit peaceful. The owner is so kind, and you can buy their coffee in bags as well. Decor is beautiful, and they'll have a MOCKTAIL BAR this fall. They have a great selection of NA and no caffeine options as well. Great wifi, plenty of outlets and comfy seating. Admittedly, I am not a coffee drinker. I simply was grabbing a latte for my partner before I flight. I pulled up just as they were unlocking the doors, first patron of the day. Every worker inside greeted me with exceptional hospitality as if I had just made their year. The interior is contemporary and stylish, but not to the point where you feel out of place if you are not a 23 year old hipster wearing a carhart beanie. Quite the opposite, actually. It's not pretentious at all. Cozy, rather, but still upbeat. The latte my partner got was exceptional. It was rich with brown sugar and caramel notes. Plus, it looked really cool. An awesome little coffee shop that is adjacent to my favorite breakfast in St. louis: The biscuit joint. I only tried the latte so I cannot attest to the rest of the menu, but they had some cookies and blondies that looked absolutely amazing. Loved everything about my visit here! read more

Was in St. Louis for a few days and decided to stop into this coffee shop. I was impressed by who friendly and engaging the owner is. He took time to talk to me about the journey of his coffee. I asked a lot of questions about his roasting and brewing. This was so fun! The space is beautiful and the coffee is crafted with knowledge and care. Such a good experience! read more
