Got a haircut down the street at Up & Up salon and walked here. It was super cute and decorated for the upcoming Valentine's Day holiday. After looking at the menu for a while I decided to get an iced matcha with marshmallow cold foam. They had a lot of cool looking coffee drinks, including some traditional options that you can't always find. I also got a cinnamon roll. I was shocked at how affordable it was here. Probably the best priced coffee shop I've been to. The cinnamon roll was very good and the iced matcha was delicious. I will say it didn't have a strong matcha flavor, it was mostly sweet, but still good. I think the marshmallow cold foam really overpowered any matcha flavor there would be in their already sweetened matcha mix but I love sweet stuff so it was good to me. I'll definitely be coming back if I'm in the area!
Came in on a trip to Saint Louis. We picked it because it was close to where we were staying. I am glad we did because it is great. There are many pastries to choose from, but I wanted coffee. I was debating on which espresso to get and was offered a "dry latte." I never heard of it before, but said yes. It is my new favorite drink- a not to milky espresso. More foam. It tastes great. The inside is cute and fun. I'll be back - tomorrow!
Was nice and slow on a Saturday morning! Great service and immediately was greeted with a smile. Ordered the chicken empanada and it was warm and flavorful, I thoroughly enjoyed it with the chimichurri on it. Also had a dirty chai with oat milk and that was delicious as well. They had a kids play area which I thought was awesome and had couches in addition to tables and chairs. I sat for a while and read my book but would also be a great place to do work with free wifi and tons of natural light! I will definitely be back.
Tried Lanco for the first time on a weekday morning, so it was very quiet quiet and nice in the coffee shop. They have a large selection of sweets and breakfast items to go along with your coffee. I got to try one of their specialty drinks, which was the Mardi Gras latte. It was very delicious and sweet. They have plenty of indoor seating if you would like to stay in each year, sweet tree and coffee! Service was fast and efficient. The waitress had good suggestions for drinks and snack items to order. I look forward to coming back again
Great place! My first time here, I would love to make it to every coffee shop in St Louis! Staff were very friendly, they were just two working so it was maybe a little slow even though we had called ahead so they were expecting a group of us. They have a second area that actually belongs to an apartment complex that is attached, but they are allowed to use it so we were seated over there since we were in a group and there was plenty of room. The food was fantastic, initially people were not happy with the lattes. They were more like cappuccinos, more foam than coffee. Someone said that the person making them was new though. I would definitely come back, love the city atmosphere, loved the food, having not known what to expect. Parking was not a problem on the street. A few disappointments, but overall a good experience that I would try again.
I have been telling people about my experience all week. Here, you order and then sit down our items were ready as we moved through the payment process, so I'm guessing you always pick up at the counter. I did not have a high expectation for my beef empanada, but I was pleasantly surprised with a ton of flavor and it was very filling/heavy in my stomach. No need for the chocolate croissant, but of course I ate it also. This would have been better if it had been warmed up a little bit, but in their defense we did not ask if that was an option. My favorite part, the empanada was really good, but my FAVORITE part is my new found love for Cafe de Olla. I am aware this coffee is not unique to La Finca, but this was delicious. I'm going to pretend that there wasn't any sugar involved in the seasoning of this coffee. Definitely cinnamon and star annise, a fantastic compliment to coffee's usual bitter taste. La Finca is on my way to work, I will definitely have to stop by more often.
La Finca looked generic from the outside so I wasn't expecting much, but the interior is super quaint and cozy with an electric fireplace and comfy couches. I had an excellent cortado & sat for awhile reading my book. It was very quiet on a Friday afternoon so I basically had the place to myself. The barista was friendly and accommodating as well. I didn't try any of the food, as I thought the empanadas were a little overpriced but they looked tasty! I'd swing by again to lounge and read.

Wow! 100 bonus points for being open after a major snowstorm hit St. Louis. The strawberry chocolate latte made my snow adventures even more delicious, and I was able to warm up my cold feet. I'll be back to enjoy the coffee and music and vibes!

this coffee shop has been on my yelp list since i moved to stl! and it was so nice that it was like a 3 minute walk from the clinic we were working at! anyways their seasonal drinks look so good. i ended up getting an iced spiced brown sugar latte which was yummy! service was great, everyone was so nice and my colleague's coffee was ready before she even paid! i need to make another stop to try out their lavender matcha!
Two hours of "work" this morning before the parking meters kicked in and I moved on. I enjoyed it starting with The Most Perfect cortado I have had. The very talented barista knew exactly what I wanted, prepared it perfectly and served it just the way it should be: in a short glass, with a few chocolate covered espresso beans and with a small glass of seltzer. Cute coffee shop right in The Grove. I got an iced mocha, it was great! Not too sweet. This seems like a great place to hang out & work on your laptop. It's quiet & the tables aren't super close together like some places. There's plenty of places to sit. Wasn't very busy at 9am on a Sunday so we got our drinks quickly.
Been wanting to check out this location after loving all the others. Aris (originally from 'Indi' - in my family's home-state was super AWESOME, & helpful. Hot food. Coffee for home, AND STICKERS!!! Paintings made me want to sit & stare! Grateful to find street-parking between my two stops. Meter did not like my credit card, & I did not have change. App was easy, & probably cost less. FYI: sign on door says no public restroom, but just east is an ice-cream shop... AND IKEA is just a few stoplights away. read more

Really great coffee shop to visit! Plenty of seating, lots of unique drinks, and a super friendly staff! I really enjoyed the uniqueness and quirky vibes of this coffee shop. It really brings character to this neighborhood. The Honey Pistachio Latte was super on point, with just the right balance of sweet and nutty. Great job and keep up the good work! :) read more

La Finca is a wonderful coffee shop to stop by for a quick pick-me-up, a relaxing place to work, or a laid-back spot to catch up with friends. There is a wide range of menu options, including seasonal items. I almost had trouble deciding on which one since they all sounded tasty, but I chose the peach vanilla frappe with peach cold foam from the seasonal menu. The friendly barista suggested it since it is one of their best sellers, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. I also tasted the dulce de leche latte, which was fantastic. Since there were ample places to sit, it was the perfect ambiance to relax and enjoy a delicious drink. read more

Love their early hours and the fact that they have pumpkin syrup year-round! The main cafe is very cute, though I think the secondary room feels a little bare and leaves something to be desired. They were going through some weird hour changes earlier this year but I'm so glad to see that they've gotten back on a normal schedule. The chicken empanada is a must-try, and I'd recommend the green salsa with it! Great cold brew as well. I personally feel that the drinks are slightly on the sweet side, but as long as I remember to ask for them to go a little bit lighter on the syrup, they always come out great. read more

La Finca is a quaint coffee shop located on the corner of Manchester and Taylor. A friend had recommended it to me so I decided to try it for the first time on a Monday afternoon and ended up staying for almost 2 hours! As I looked at the menu, I noticed a large selection of pastries, espresso drinks, smoothies, coffees, and teas offered. I decided to order my usual drink, a vanilla latte, and it did not disappoint. The baristas were friendly and the service was quick. I decided to enjoy my latte in one of their two lounge areas. Both areas contained armchairs, couches, and several smaller wooden tables and chairs. The walls were decorated with unique artwork including a mural and several canvases and prints. The overall atmosphere was cozy and I would definitely consider coming here in the future for a quiet place to work. As far as parking - I had no issues finding street parking today, but parking may be difficult to find during busier hours as the coffee house is located next to many popular restaurants and bars (e.g. Urban Chestnut, Platypus). read more

On the edge of the Grove! Their coffee is authentic and yummy! Yes I know the macchiato is a Starbucks macchiato but nonetheless was so good! I got a drip coffee and not pictured was a pour over coffee I got. You can taste that this is the real stuff. Not super sugary. More people need to come here! Lots of seating and it's comfy and there's additional seating next door. Will come back. read more
I didn't think much about what I got. The pastry and coffee (vanilla latte) were nothing special. I thought the La Finca Mocha that my friend got was pretty interesting, though! It was sweet and had a blend of some kind spices. What I really like about this place is the table availability and outlets. If you want a typical cafe setting, you can sit in the front area, but there's a huge back area that felt almost like a home kitchen. It made for a great study spot! read more
Service was horrible. Wasn't greeted when we walked in, then the cashier didn't even say hi or look at me when I ordered. Ordered a sugar free vanilla skim milk latte. There were two simple orders in front of me and took 10 minutes for them to make a 2% plain latte then tell me that's all I get. Not worth the $8 I spent because I tipped generously. QT coffee is good enough for me but this one was so bad it ended up in the trash. No apology for messing up my order, and refused to make it right. Won't be back. Humans make mistakes and I get it. But it doesn't take much to make the correct order to match your customer's receipt. read more
Was in the Grove on a Saturday morning and decided to stop in for a coffee with my boyfriend. The ambience inside is cute and cozy, I could see spending some time in here working or just hanging out with friends. I got a pumpkin macchiato from the seasonal menu. Very delicious and flavorful! I loved that it was actual pumpkin flavor and not pumpkin spice, so much more unique. My boyfriend got a cold brew which was bold and also good. Saw a bunch of yummy looking pastries in the display, will need to come back to try one sometime. read more

This coffee shop has quickly become one of my favorites. Let me get you hip! Carrying a variety of pastries as opposed to regular food and a coffee station that is yours to command. They have amazing service and immediately when you walk in you see the modern decor that gives you a safe feeling of peace and a warm comfortable environment to get your work done. If your seeking a quiet place to get away while enjoying the splendid cup of coffee, this is definitely my recommendation! read more
