    Churro

They accept card!! Initially avoided this place because I assumed they only accepted cash... but they do accept card! Super friendly employee- got my order out fast and kept me updated on when they needed to get me a new churro. Loved being able to just order my food and enjoy it while listening to the open mic next door and then while walking on the pier. Easy street parking nearby. Will be back!

Located across from the entrance to the Seal Beach pier, the exterior of this place looks exactly like a food stand at a beach should. They sell items that one expects at a pier or fairgrounds; corn dogs, churros, fries, cotton candy, funnel cakes... You order and pick up at a window. There is no designated seating but a few benches can be found along the street. Or go for a walk on the pier or sit in the sand. I ordered a beef corn dog and a lemonade. They cook to order so it took a few minutes. Once ready, I pumped some mustard on my corndog from the dispenser on a corner counter. I sat on a nearby bench and enjoyed a piping hot, perfectly made corn dog. Honestly, it was amazing. The freshly squeezed lemonade was excellent too; tart and not sweet, but obviously sweetened a bit to take the edge off the tartness. Refreshing! This is the corn dog that all other corn dogs should be judged by. (note: there is a surcharge for credit card use)

Overall: A cute little spot I hope never goes away from this pretty beach. I got a hotdog and lemonade for just under $10, which is pretty reasonable for beachside food! Hotdog was solid (a bit small for the price, but again, factoring beachside) - and I really like their lemonade! Sweeter but hit the spot just right for me. Service: Nice staff and my food and drink came out very quick! Ambiance: Unmatched. Doesn't really get much better than getting to walk right across and eat your fresh hotdog/corn dog right on the beach.

I love Jane's corndogs--freshly dipped, crispy outer layer. I try to get one whenever I'm in the area. It's a perfect little place to grab a snack. The lemonade is refreshing. Friendly and fast service. Can't go wrong with Jane's.

I had the corn dog and lemonade.

After a nice walk along the Seal Beach Pier, I decided it was a great time for a corn dog and lemonade. I had heard about Jane's Corn Dogs stand a year or so ago. I decided to see if it were still there, and to give it a try. I had a corn dog and lemonade . It was tasty! I enjoyed sitting on a bench with the ocean breeze blowing around as I ate my corn dog.The day and the dog were perfect! The food, service and ambiance is great!

Beef corn dog and chili cheese dog - tasty!!

Jane's Corndogs has been selling some tasty comfort food to the visitors and locals of Seal Beach for years. It has become a part of the city's nostalgic landscape, along with many other establishments in the area. The menu is simple with tasty options. My favorite items are the beef corn dogs, chili cheese dogs, and lemonade. The churros and funnel cake are great for satisfying a sweet tooth. The staff is friendly and gets orders out promptly. You order at the walk-up window, and pick up is in the next window. There are no tables or seats, but the area offers a beach, a pier, and benches for relaxation and enjoying a meal. My only recommendation is that the staff or owner update their menu board with clear prices. There's a board behind the window that's difficult to see. Other than that, keep up the great work!

Love love love this place! Worker was super patient with us and so kind to let us try the fresh lemonade. Cheddar Cheese (10/5 stars) - this was so amazing! the batter is perfect and the cheddar was melted and strong in taste Lemoade (5/5) - the first time I ever had lemoade that wasn't super sour! and the sugar level was perfect so it didn't over power the lemon's tartness Overall, amazing food and service!

Stumbled upon Jane's Hotdogs while looking for something to eat in Seal Beach. They seem to be known for their corn dogs and lemonade, but we went with what we were craving- funnel cake, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The funnel cake was perfectly cooked- crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and super flavorful. It came loaded with powdered sugar, just the way it should be, and we added a side of chocolate sauce that paired perfectly. So good! The customer service was great too. The gentleman at the counter was super thoughtful. He asked if we wanted it bagged since we were headed back across the street to the beach, and he made sure we had everything we'd need to enjoy it on the go. A simple spot with solid treats and friendly service. Will definitely come back to try the corn dogs next time! Highly recommend.

I got the 40 Pack with Saigon Street, Korean Kick, Peking and Cali Rub. Sauce coverage was good, but the wings themselves tasted overcooked. I can forgive to-go wings losing some crisp, but the meat itself was tough, chewy and dry. That's the part you can't sauce your way out of. Saigon Street was my favorite flavor. It had the Vietnamese fish sauce wing profile I wanted: savory, a little sweet and solid overall. I would've liked more tang, but I'd order the flavor again. The problem was that almost half of that batch were tiny overcooked flats with barely any chicken on them. At that point, they're basically saucing bones. Korean Kick was solid: sweet with a little heat, pretty much what I expected. Classic thick Yangnyeom profile without blazing spice. Cali Rub reminded me of a BBQ-style seasoning, but there wasn't enough rub on mine. Smoky, sweet and it works well. I actually enjoyed this one a lot, it just needed more rub. Bomb flavor, light execution. Peking was my least favorite. It was edible enough, but it tasted more like char siu than Peking. Deep red, thick, sweet-savory and missing the plum-style tang I expected. Basically char siu that never saw the fire. If they called it char siu, I'd probably have fewer complaints. Calling it "sweet and sour" just made the missing tang stand out more. The seasoned fries were rough. They're that battered, seasoned dredge-style fry, similar to Rally's or Checkers, so they're already on the oily side by design. Enjoyable for a few bites and that's about it. The garlic noodles had a really good chewy texture, but they were dry as hell and the garlic was missing in action. I mostly tasted parmesan and parsley more than anything. Great chew, no garlic, no moisture. For dipping sauces, the blue cheese was okay. The honey mustard leaned more savory, almost like Chick-fil-A's Honey Roasted BBQ packet, instead of bright, sweet and tangy. Not really what I want from honey mustard. Veggies were fine: thick cut and crisp. Pickup was fine, but the location is annoying if you're just trying to grab food and go. You have to park in the structure and pull a ticket. First 90 mins free if you wanna walk around or dine in. Overall, Fire Wings has good flavor ideas, but this order had too many execution issues. I'd still consider trying it again because some flavors worked, but the chicken needs to meet the sauces halfway.

Literally took 15 minutes to get my order - nobody else in the store, no one in line. 15 minutes for items already pre-made. And. On top of that, I didn't see any employees the entire time until I said 'hello' over the counter (you have to order everything on a tablet - with no employee assistance). Got my order, went back to my 'spot' in my trailer parked in the beach parking lot. Lunch time, against my better judgement, went back with my wife. Had to use the tablet again, but wanted to make some changes to my order. No assistance from the staff and was told 'everything was available through the system'. Well, it wasn't, so I completed my order (with about 10 minutes of fumbling) and paid. I then called an employee over to explain what I wanted. Was greeted, but then told I should have done it through the menu system. I told them I couldn't modify a 'combo' and, when I mentioned I couldn't, was told 'it's all available on the system' - so now you have to help me because it wasn't. I also ordered drinks, but my options were small, medium and large - no option for the type of drink. In the end, it was about 10 minutes of ordering followed by 3-4 minutes of verifying what I wanted - followed by a final question (from the employee) as to what drink I wanted. All that - why not just have an employee take my order as I want it - 2-3 minutes tops. And then (yes, a bit more), I got a little bit of attitude when I asked for ranch and hot sauce. I've been to some establishments that are going more to DIY order systems, but this is one of the worst. Two stars is being nice - they did get the order right so I had to give them that. But, won't be back to this one again. Just an awful experience.

I'm not sure if it's always that lively on Friday nights, but it was the weekend of Warped Tour, so there was a lot of music and energy. If you're looking for a quieter meal, this may not be the best night to visit. The food itself was good, but the wait was much longer than expected. We waited almost 40 minutes for our order. Unfortunately, my burger was also made incorrectly. I ordered the Bacon Bleu Burger but was served a different burger instead. Not quite sure what it was, but it had mushrooms and American cheese. Since we had already waited so long, I decided to just eat it rather than send it back. The burgers were flavorful, but they were smaller than I expected for the price, and they don't come with fries. To round out my meal, I ordered the poutine fries. They were decent. The fries were nice and crispy, which I appreciated. My husband ordered the Burger Don Chendo, and that ended up being the standout of the night. I usually don't like spicy food, but this burger had just the right amount of heat without being overwhelming. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but between the long wait, the incorrect order, and the portion size for the price, the experience was a bit hit-or-miss. I'd be willing to give them another try, especially for the Don Chendo burger, but I'm hoping for a smoother experience next time.
