I was craving a burger and fries today. I called and specifically asked for "fresh fries" because I know most of these places double cook the fries (disgusting). I picked up my order, checked the fries and they were, yep, double cooked and overcooked!!! I told the guy these aren't fresh fries, and thinking I'm a dumbass, he has the nerve to say "they are fresh, we make them like this." Then he contradicted himself by RUDELY saying, "We aren't McDonalds, where they're fresh like that". Dude should not be working at a place that deals with customers, much less serves food! This is our neighborhood to go spot. We order from this location at least once a week. All the sandwiches are awesome. My daughters favorite thing to order is the chicken tenders and Cajun fries. All the sandwiches are named after professional athletes which is cool. We order by phone and our order is always ready within 10 minutes. They also have great breakfast burritos. This is great spot for lunch if you are on a short lunch break. They also give you plenty of napkins and condiments. You do have to walk up with a face mask due to Covid-19. Never experienced cucumber on a sandwich before but that paired with the sprouts was so fresh and made for an amazing flavor. The Cajun fries and their homemade ranch are to die for as well. Best hotdog I've ever had, including that Chicago dog I had in Chicago! I ordered the Joe Montana Hotdog. My friends ordered the George Foreman IV burger and the carne asada burrito. We all shared a full size order of Cajun seasoned fries. My hotdog was so delicious looking and it tasted much better than it looked. It was topped with pastrami, grilled onions, swiss cheese, mustard and mayo. It was huge, very filling, and a heart attack waiting to happen. My friend and I have a favorite burger spot that we've been going to for years and she said that the George Foreman IV burger here topped the burgers at our favorite spot. MVP's is a great place to grab an affordable, delicious bite to eat! I have always heard great things, but never got around to trying it, man was I missing out. The George Foreman III was absolutely delicious, as were the cajun fries (with free ranch, I might add). Not only was the food amazing, but the staff was kind, and our food quickly came out! Got the Magic Johnson which was really good for the price. Also got the cajun fries which were crispy but didn't have any salt. Ask for salt for the fries. Definitely recommend the Magic and maybe cajun fries with salt. Good service as well. Spent around $14. read more

Good burgers, but you can't rely on them to ever be open for their stated hours. I've eaten dinner here once or twice a week for 10 years, but have only been able to catch them open once over the last 4-6 weeks. They seem to close between 4 and 6...even when you call at 3:30 to ask their hours, they state 9 PM but are closed before 7. Go for lunch, or have a backup plan. So I pass this place often and finally decided to give it a try. The fries are worth coming back for, they're all perfectly cooked, none were burnt, and you get a ton of them(Cajun is a must). I ended up getting a standard bacon cheeseburger, and a friend of mine got the turkey burger. She ate her entire burger, I could only tolerate a few bites of mine. It was presented well! However, it fell extremely short on taste.though it's made to order, the meat didn't taste fresh, it honestly tasted like those pre frozen patties. This place is a quick walk from me, so every now and then, I don't mind heading over there to pick one up and walk back. I personally enjoy sitting down and eating at the one off of 4th street, if I am in the mood sit down and eat. The service is just as slow as the other locations and the parking is just as bad, but the food is still good. I suggest if you can't deal with the wait, call it in for pick up or so it's ready to eat when you are there. The Jordan and Shaq have to be my two favorite items on the menu, but save some room to have some of their cajun fries with their cajun ranch. The chili cheese fries are good too, but keep in mind when you are ordering fries you only need a half order (they are big). Suggestion: Parking is shared with Linda's and Deans Pizza... MVP is on the way home from work for me, so sometimes when I have a burger craving and don't want to go to a sit down restaurant or pay $10 for a burger, I'll stop by this MVP. It's a little stand with a few tables out in front on the patio. I've run into a few questionable characters while I've waited for my food there, so I always take my food to go. The burgers are pretty good in size and there is a really good selection with regards to size and toppings. First, you can choose between 1 and 3 meat patties. The toppings aren't anything out of the ordinary (such as: bacon, pastrami, avocado, mushrooms, etc.), but they have some pretty unique combinations there. There is something for everybody. There are a variety of sides too - I've only had the seasoned fries and the regular fries. I'm not a huge fan of either - and I think the seasoned/Cajun fries are far too salty. It's just the regular fries tossed in seasoned/Cajun salt. After trying both, I opt out from getting them anymore. They taste just like regular fries from the freezer. The prices here are really good and the burgers are pretty meaty and large, but my hugest problem is that my burger is ALWAYS soggy (the three times that I've been here). I only live 5 minutes from here, but by the time that I get home, I always find a soggy mess, especially the bottom bun. read more
