OMG is right! These are delectable and so light and fluffy! There were so many options to choose from all with the same base doughnut being a plain glazed. However, you were able to inject them with a filling to make it that much more delicious. Filling options were raspberry, chocolate, vanilla, lemon, Bavarian cream or strawberry. I got the cookies n cream objected with chocolate My aunt got the regular chocolate one (as pictured) injected with raspberry. It was our first doughnut in a very long time and I have a feeling we'll be going more often lol! My only negative is they could have been just a tad warmer to really sell the "heavenly OMG" but otherwise it was top notch! I definitely recommend! read more

When they say go early, they aren't kidding! We were down the road and since I was close by, why not try it. Got there around noon and the only things they had were the regular staples like glazed, chocolate, cinnamon sugar, vanilla and chocolate frosted whole donuts for filling. Since I didn't see what they had in the display, I wasn't too disappointed because they get to fill the doughnuts fresh. The fillings they had that morning was Bavarian, vanilla, chocolate, and lemon. I got Bavarian, lemon and chocolate. All were delicious and if I'm in town another time, I'll surely stop by! read more

I having been driving by this place for weeks, fighting the temptation to stop until a hot Sunday afternoon after a 4 hour drive....I felt I deserved to waste a few calories. They were out of a few flavors but folk were still pouring in to get whatever they had left. They stuff your donuts to order as they have the fillings as you come in and you can pick your filling and they just make it happen while you watch, sweet! They also have an area to sit if you'd like. I'm simple with my donuts, so I opted for chocolate and cinnamon/sugar. The donuts are larger than most which makes them a bit too doughy for me. The chocolate just didn't do it for me, but the cinnamon sugar was ok. I probably should've wasted my calories on pizza or something, but the staff and location are nice, but parking was a little tight. read more

Super yummy donuts that are large in size and perfectly coated with icing! I stopped by later in the day and they had pretty much everything you could want in stock. I ended up getting the Chocolate Frosted, Strawberry Frosted with Sprinkles, Maple Frosted, and Chocolate Brownie Donuts. "OH MY GOSH" were the first words that came out of my mouth after the first bite. Yeah, very cliche but this place is one of my new favorite donut shops! The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, but the inside is cute and open. They have a couple of instagram worthy walls. Ample seating. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great selection of donuts. I ordered an iced Vietnamese coffee and a dozen variety: Glazed Blueberry Strawberry fruity pebbles Smores Chocolate twist Strawberry shortcake with vanilla filling (your choice of filling) Again, these donuts were amazing! The dough was soft and perfect. The frosting was neither too sweet nor too heavy. My favorite of the six was actually the glazed. The iced Vietnamese coffee was strong yet refreshing. Not too sweet either. My entire order was under $13! This was a pleasant surprised because I'm used to spending double that for "gourmet donuts." Can't wait to return! read more

Can I just say OMG! I have yet to meet a donut I haven't loved at OMG Donuts & Bakery. I am a fan of anything maple and their glaze makes my mouth sing. I went outside my comfort zone, on a recommendation of another customer, and tried the apple fritter. I didn't know what a great decision It was until my first bite. Those apple pieces swirled in a light dough and surrounded by a protective layer of sweet glaze was gone in a flash. Move over maple, there is a new favorite sharing in my box. OMG is a perfect description so stop by and grab a dozen, a great cup of coffee, and service with a smile every time. You won't be disappointed but will be left wanting more. read more

Cane by one morning to pick up some donuts since i really wanted donut for breakfast. This place is awesome! Love it that I can pick my own filing for the donuts! I had no idea that OMG was so close to me. I've passed by this on the way to concord mills a million times. It's located behind a bunch of stuff so I'm assuming it does not receive the notoriety it deserves. Anywho, I arrived while one other person was in there so I was able to take my time and peruse the display case. There was not as much variety as I expected but enough for me. I chose a vanilla fruity pebble, original glaze, Oreo, Reese's and maple pecan. Half a dozen was $9.. it hurt the cheap place in my heart but my fat side was satisfied. The doughnuts are thick, soft and yummy. I LOVEDD the Oreo doughnut and I will be going back for that one. They have a filling station with different flavors that I did not explore. If you're into that, it's available. The employees are friendly and the space is clean. I definitely had a lot of excitement about going here and it did not quite meet the expectations I created in my head which may or may not be my fault but I still enjoyed my doughnuts. The first time I went here I made the decision to make this a biweekly thing. The donuts are delicious and they're a pretty hefty size. I'm glad I made this part of my routine. OMG is right! My husband and I checked out this donut joint the other weekend. Besides Duck Donuts, I hadn't been to a traditional donut shop in ages. I was so excited to check it out. When we walked in we were instantly greeted by the smell of sweetness! All of the donuts were on display and we were instantly drolling. The girl behind the corner walked us through all the options and mentioned that some of the donuts had filling options, which they do on the spot. Plus everything is baked fresh daily. I opted for the seasonal pumpkin donut and it was to die for. The inside was soft and moist - yet the outside had a nice crunch to it. It was definitely one of the best donuts I've ever had. My husband got a chocolate longjohn and filled it will Bavarian cream. It was very tasty, but the best was the apple fritter we got because YOLO. It was so awesome and had us saying Oh my God! I mean there raised donuts. Good raised donuts, but still raised donuts. They do add a lot of cool stuff to their raised donuts, I'll hand it to them for that. Fritter is solid, like make you dance a tango with your elliptical for an extra 15 minutes, solid. I love how they inject their donuts with Jelly and pastry heroin. So good. Yeah, go. But then go check out Donut house to compare. I like Donut house too, but OMG is closer. God I hate my elliptical machine. read more

Fresh, yummy and quick! We had the cinnamon glazed twisty donut, Oreo filled with chocolate filling, and raspberry filled jelly donut. All were super fluffy and the fillings were really good! We tried to order the Thai iced tea listed on the menu but it was not available today. read more

I'm on my donut quest to find the best donuts in my area so I stopped by OMG Donuts and bakery to check out the goodness. I came early enough to see fresh donuts being brought in from the back, and they looked scrumptious! I ordered half a dozen donuts so I could share them with the family and get their opinion! Well we all agree that the donuts are slightly larger than other donut shops, and they are fresh but they skimp on the toppings and the filling (which by the way wasn't even visible with six bites into the donut)! Oh yes and they charge more for the OMG selections; If I'm paying $1.55 for one doughnut there shouldn't be any skimping on the toppings! Over all the location was clean and the donuts are good, but a smile and a nice greeting in the morning would be very much appreciated! read more

After indulging at bakeries that offer all kinds of exotic flavors in donut form, it's refreshing to enjoy something similar to our childhood. Not that it makes the choice any easier, however. OMG offers a nice selection of flavors and toppings. There are round and long donuts available for custom fillings, which I think is fun. I chose vanilla and chocolate this time, but I'll give the fruit fillings a shot in the future. All the donuts were light, fluffy and sweet. Nothing heavy or oversized. The apple fritters looked tempting, and I overheard other patrons enjoying theirs, and I plan to do the same when I return. Great place, and surprisingly roomy for a bakery. read more

I could not recommend OMG donuts more to anyone who loves a good baked good. The quality of donuts are always fantastic, and we've never had any complaints. Make sure to get here early in the day though, as the donuts and other items are made daily, so once they run out the store will close. read more

If I were you... I'd try these donuts for a crowd pleaser. There's something for someone here! On a whim I decided to pick these up for my teammates on my way into work. There wasn't a long line at 7:45 am and there was plenty of each donut. But there's a lot of different donuts. A man and his son were ordering before me which I was glad about. I needed the time to digest how much was in front of me. It wasn't quite clear to me which donuts were the different pricing levels. And none of the donuts were labeled so it took some time to choose which ones were good. They easily had more than 24 different types of decorated donuts. As many others mentioned, you can choose the filling but I was already overwhelmed so I just tried the pre-made ones. A box of a dozen "premium" donuts was around $16. Not bad for what looked like fancy and big donuts. Note that these donuts are yeast donuts and not the cake donuts. I also hear their apple fritters are very good. I'll definitely be back for a special treat for the team. They liked them. Next time, I hope they have labels. I think it helps people choose and there's no guessing which donut they really want. read more

OMG is right on! That was my exact reaction when these perfectly soft, airy, delicately sweet donuts hit my tongue. Based on the rave reviews, I was determined to try the apple fritter. That was my whole plan -just one single apple fritter. Then, I walked in and everything in the display case was calling my name. The maple bacon made me feel less guilty about eating donuts instead of a proper breakfast. Everything about it was perfect! In my opinion, these donuts put others to shame. The sugar donut holes were divine. They melted in my mouth! I saved the apple fritter for last. I think, perhaps I'm more of a traditional donut vs fritter kind of girl as I found this one to be too crunchy and too sweet. I guess you can have too much of a good thing. All in all, these were terrific and I'll be back! read more

OMG Donuts & Bakery (Concord) OMG this place is SERIOUSLY OVER RATED, purchased a apple fritter and it's horrible to the point I'm throwing it out. Taste like a bunch of sugar and my husband said his doughnut tasted like a giant Krispy creme doughnut. If you haven't tried Yummm in Gastonia you don't know what you are missing and if you don't want to drive the distance Doughnut House in kannapolis is better than this mess I just purchased. read more

These are seriously the best donuts ever and the prices are incredible. A dozen donuts adorned with a bunch of delicious toppings for less than $20? Yes please. The maple bacon is one of my favorites and I like theirs better than the one from Duck Donuts. The strawberry shortcake donut is also amazing. Run don't walk to OMG Donuts! read more

A hint but not milky if that makes sense. I'd order jt again. And it's reasonably priced. A little over $6 for a 16. oz. THEY DO NOT CHARGE EXTRA FOR MILK SUBSTITUTES!!!! I love that concept and wish all places did the same.

Once we ordered, they gave us a number to put at the table so they could deliver the food. It took about 12 minutes from order to delivery of said food. The Iced Cinnamon Biscuit was a great choice. It basically tasted like a cinnamon roll, but substitute the roll part to be a biscuit. I also tried some of my husband's tots and they had the perfect crunch. There are a few big tables inside where it's easy to share with others. They also had outdoor seating too. The only off putting thing was water was dripping from the ceiling all over the restaurant when I was there. There were no signs about the water, but every now and then a drop would fall on someone unsuspecting or the floor. They really need to get that looked at. The parking lot is an L-shaped so be careful parking towards the end as it is closed off so it can be tough to turn around.
