    Gel fill.....horrible.

I have been to this salon several times and just get more frustrated every visit. I initially went there because "Hanna" was recommended and she was very good, the next appt she pushed me off on the next in line person and it was average at best (thick nails). I just went with it, today I went and got a pedicure and gel fill. Tamara who did my pedicure did a really nice job and I would go back to her but probably not there. Leo did my fills and it was like a race getting them done. I left and started looking at my nails and the tips had not been painted so I went back I saw Hanna and she looked at them and said "what's wrong? You don't like them.....seriously. She put me back in Leo's chair and he attempted to fix them, while having a good laugh with his colleagues. No one will ever know what that was about. Started out good, today was a debacle. Probably won't be desperate enough to go back after today.

I have gotten my nails done here several times and have been very happy. Unfortunately my experience on 6/5/25 was not good. Jimmy the nail tech caught my cuticle several times with the sanding nail tool and I left there with a bloody cuticles which is very sore and inflamed today. He just needs to slow down talk to his coworker less and pay attention to what's he's doing. Ouch!!!

UPDATE: my nail fill lasted just 5 days. I now have lifting at the nail bases, and a chipped nail. Do not go here--waste of $$

This was my second time at this salon. The first time I had a good experience and wanted to make…read morethis my regular spot. While my pedicure was great (minus a few moment of the hot stones being pressed in a little too much and being too hot), my manicure was bad. I asked for a design and if it was feasible for the guy doing my nails. He shook his head no, and I said: "No worries, I understand folks have different skills, I'll pick a simpler design." He then said that the design was easy but it's was "ugly" and I shouldn't get that. This is where I should've left, but I brushed off the comment and asked for a flower design (see pic with daisy-like flowers). He said he could do that and suggested doing an ombre, showing me an example that was heavy white with minimal pink. I said yes and we limited the flower design to one nail. The flowers came out with fat petals, looking nothing like the picture. The ombré was pink heavy and I had to ask him to change the pink since the first was BRIGHT pink and not natural looking. To top it off he filed my skin off (see pics of the cuts) on multiple fingers despite my hand jerking away. I may come back for a pedicure, but never for a manicure again. My hands still hurt after several hours.

I have been a customer of Jay, the manger, for years. I had an appointment with him three times,…read moreall of which he canceled. The first time he said he couldn't do them because he was busy, which I understood. He gave me a time to return and when I did he said once again he was unavailable and asked that someone else do them, which I agreed to. But the entire time I was there letting the other person do my nails, he sat and did nothing the entire time, he had no appointments. The third and final time I went, with the appointment time of which he gave me, he said he over booked and could not do my nails once again. No alternative time was suggested. When I called to complain, my call was never returned. This is something I would not ever expect since I have been one of his loyal customers for years. Very disappointed! I will not be returning again.

Not going here again!! Manicure included removing a chunk of skin which now shows signs of infection. No discount, no apology. Never again.

I asked for balayage beginning around my ear (melted root look) and showed Teresa a picture. She…read moresaid she could do it and I became a little worried when she began foiling up near my root with heavy brush strokes, but I trusted her process. The result was bulky 2000's style highlights beginning with harsh lines around an inch from my root. Terrible. She agreed this wasn't satisfactory, so she said she'd "smudge" the harsh lines with a blue mask. Didn't work. So we decided on baby highlights starting at the root to blend the harsh lines, although it would pretty much result in my being an all over blonde (FAR from my original request). Well, this turned out even worse...my whole head was a streaky, multicolored, orange disaster, still with harsh lines. This took 10 hours (all in one day) and it just got worse as the time went on. I was quoted $135 before my appointment, but was charged $155 at the end of this session. I went home and tried to tone it down with purple shampoo, but the damage was irreversible. After an emotional breakdown, I called up my old stylist from back home (1.5 hours away) who said she could fix it but suggested I not let Teresa touch it again because this was "beauty school student work at best" and she obviously wasn't familiar with the balayage technique. Teresa wanted to try to "fix it", but after seeing her work for 10 hours, I told Teresa I was just more comfortable with going someplace else and requested a refund, even if it was partial because I wanted to be fair about the product she used but felt that she should not charge me for the time or work, because it was due to her incompetence. She completely ghosted me. I asked FIVE more times about a refund or for her to just contact me and she wouldn't answer my texts/calls anymore after. I couldn't speak to a manager, as she is owner and only stylist of the salon. Horrible work, even worse handling of the situation. STAY AWAY!!
