There is also a "mini no chip mani" which I assume is just the same without all the massage and hand treatment. I booked the appt for right when they open, and didn't have to wait at all. I booked with Sammi based on others' reviews for how amazing she was. She did an awesome job! Attention to detail and efficient. She also gave a great massage! My nails look great. The nail technician that then took care of me said that the chrome product was definitely bad and it wasn't applied correctly. So I won't be going back. I gave it two starts instead of one bc some of the technicians are really good and knowledgeable. So much attitude at the front desk. Save your time, go to a real Spa. The name says it all. I was a regular at another no frills Salon for many years and didn't know what I was missing. Their polish selection is enormous for both regular and no chip manicures. Omg is very clean and they use disposable files and scrubbers on every customer. The technicians are all wonderful and the give the best leg and foot messages. Once a month I splurge on a spa pedicure that come with 3 different scrubs and a longer massage. I am always complimented on my manicures, my nails have never looked so good. This salon is ALWAYS busy so you need an appointment. I have never bee I feel like since the spa expanded the service just isn't the same. They are very busy and everything seems rushed and not the same luxury spa experience of the past. Many of the original technicians are no longer there which is disappointing. The new pedicure chairs, while very pretty, are uncomfortable and very awkward to get in and out of. They recently raised their prices. A no chip mani and regular pedi is now $81 which is not cheap. After a $20 tip I'm over $100. My last two no chips lasted less than 10 days and were bubbling where in the past They would still look great after two weeks. Wanted a dip manicure and this place was within walking distance of my apartment. There were a lot of colors to pick from which was great. I had picked out a light pink with sparkles. When the tech was done, the color definitely wasn't pink, but more of a peach. It was fine, but I wanted pink. A couple days ago, the corner of a nail broke off. Late last night, another nail just completely came off - I hadn't been touching it or anything like that. I also didn't even feel it come off. I can also pry up a few other nails. The actual salon is nice but services do not last. I got a pedicure and dipping powder 10 days ago and 4 of my fingernails are either chipped or broken. Dipping powder should last at minimum 3 weeks. I'm giving this location a 2* because I had an appointment at 1, it's 1:22 and the technician hasn't started my services. I always schedule an appointment and sometimes there is a short wait but today is unacceptable. I'm not sure if the delay is due to walk ins but I'm certain there since the establishment is so crowded my services will be rushed. Never schedule an appointment on a Sunday 2nd post- I guess I like receiving subpar service because I keep coming back to this location. It partly because of convenience and ambiance. I called this morning and scheduled an appointment for Sarah. Get to my appointment at the scheduled time and Sarah isn't available because she started a massage 10 min before my appointment. I'm not sure why she would start a service knowing she has someone scheduled in the first place. This is the second time this has happened to me and spoke with the owner about it. I went to this salon in hopes of fixing a few nails from my dip powder (sns) set that I broke. I specifically searched salons who carried this product & surprisingly only found a few, on the phone I was assured they had everything. Environment: the spa itself is very nice and clean with lovely music (I even shazamed the playlist to my phone & imported to my Spotify. Piano ballads of popular songs!) Even their nail dryers are cool, you put your hand in and a multicolored disco starts drying your fingers. The ambiance is definitely the best part. Selection: as a recent nail enthusiast, I am used to getting my nails done in NYC with great precision & glamour using dip powder. Unfortunately this place only has a few colors in the actual powder which resulted in them having to paint regular nail polish over it... kinda defeats the point. Needless to say one finger was ruined almost instantly because I forgot how long "real" nail polish takes to dry. Service: luckily though I ruined a nail within 5 minutes of the manicurist finishing, she graciously removed the polish & redid the nail. This time I was sure to just "chill" & watch the pretty disco lights dry my nail instead of answering that text message. My services were not aligned with theirs causing them to have to wait for almost an hour. Additionally, the nail polish one of my friends chose was old and did NOT dry. When she called (repeatedly until she could speak with manager) to ask for a refund it was denied and she was only offered 25% off her next visit. I really wanted to like this place due to all the great reviews thus the reason why I booked them for our spa day. I made reservations weeks in advance for my friend and I birthday. I booked a facial, mini massage, lemon dream spa pedicure and manicure for both. When we came in first impression is very chic and nice. Loved the decor and vibe. When receiving the chair massage it was a bit uncomfortable since they set up right by the receptionist where people coming in can see you. No privacy what so ever. Going back to the facial room there is a big huge couch in the middle of the hallway where you literally need to squeeze by to get to the facial room. The facial was great. The esthetician was amazing! We had to wait about 25mins until we got our pedicure. No one really gave us any direction being our first time here. Nothing about choosing a color, etc. I specifically requested to be seated together when i booked the spa day weeks before. We go back to the pedicure chairs and we are separated. You were to think if you request something you would be acknowledge. I also requested our manicure to be done while the pedicure is being done. Nope, not that either! I was literally started as the pedicure was ending. Also in the spa pedicure package a thermal heated neck pillow is suppose to be provided which was not. For spending over $300 I was not pleased. I've been coming here for years.... So often that my husband bought me a $200 gift certificate for services... Well I'm down to $49 left on my gift card and this is the first time that I've ever had a bad experience... My appointment was for 6:30pm with a tech named Soko... The salon repeatedly texted me to confirm my appointment... I got there on time and had to wait in line until it was my turn to check in at the front desk... The receptionist confirmed my appointment and told me to pick my color... I did so and had a seat... Fast forward 35 mins later.... That's when a tech... Not Soko came to get me... Her name was Deegi... She was not warm or friendly... She didn't apologize for the delay or even introduce herself... She just said, "This way"... I'm seated at her station and there's no water in the foot bath... She turns on the water, tells me to place my feet inside and walks away... The water becomes too hot so I took my feet out... She returns a few mins later and sees my feet outside the foot bath... She asks me how's the water... I say, "Too hot"... She adjusts the temp and does my pedicure... The place is completely misleading and extremely unprofessional. First, their online booking is not connected to their system. My girlfriend got there and she was told that it doesn't work. It was not a big deal since they were able to accommodate her. Where it was upsetting was with their prices. I have no problem paying the high prices. I do have a problem with hidden ones. After I paid for everything that afternoon, they called me back saying that I owe them another $40. I advise to everyone visiting this place to ask for the prices and all hidden fees before paying. It's a shame because the nail techs are wonderful and work so hard, but I refuse to give my business to this place anymore. read more

My friend took me to OMG for my birthday for a NO CHIP mani, and regular pedi. I have gone there for years and the quality of service overall has been great. Over the last year I have noticed a decline in the quality of the work. My birthday was 2/12 and by 2/14 my NO CHIP nails were chipping and peeling off. I contacted the salon to schedule a repair for 6pm on 2/16. On 2/16 I received a text stating that my appointment had been scheduled for 1:45pm in the afternoon. There was no way that I could make that. Overall I decided to just forget it, as I would have to find some time to get back there, and would probably have to get into a confrontation the non-friendly, non-customer service focused, non-caring, rude front desk staff about the time that it took me to get there. This is the WORST and ends my time going to OMG. For the prices they charge over the last year I have found that the quality is sub-par at best. read more

This spa is definitely one of the nicest in the neighborhood! The inside is very modern with gorgeous decorations. The greenery makes you feel so calm and relaxing. I usually get no chip nail polish and they do a fantastic job every time! I have not experienced any fade or discoloration even when it's 3 weeks old. They offer so many other services here including haircuts, messages, and pedicure etc. I love the message experience, will get a pedi next time I come in! Overall, I love this place, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they don't offer a lot of nail art. I love fun nails ( I get bored with single color), so sometimes I want fun intricate designs, but they don't offer that right now. Otherwise it will be a 10/10 for me. read more

I've recently had 2 really bad experiences with the front desk and won't be coming back ever again. I'm pregnant and called to reschedule my appointment for a later time today because my doctor needed me to come into the office. The woman at the front desk refused to let me reschedule because I was calling "too late" and told me my only option was to cancel and be charged for the appointment. Despite telling her I wasn't trying to cancel, I was trying to book a different time, she told me that rescheduling wasn't an option. Being a South Loop resident, I love supporting businesses in the area. I decided to check out their renovated spa for a no chip and mani. They use an online booking system...love it!! I hate having to call for appointments. Easy peasy booking system. The place is very modern and clean. The first thing you will notice is the giant wall of nail polishes. I came here 16 minutes early on purpose just give myself enough time to choose. Seriously, this wall is massive and will make you want to choose all the colors! As for their no chip selection, yaaah they need to step that up. It's decent, but why not have more options for no chips if you gave me 5 billion options for regular polish? The nail tech I had came to greet me and ask if I would like a beverage. She also pointed out to me several times if I wanted these certain no chip colors there's an extra fee. Yes, I heard you the first 300 times. She was also in a rush to have me choose my colors asap. It's like I came here early so I could take my time to choose colors. Quit asking me every 2 minutes did I pick a color. I can see if I was late for my appointment. FYI some of the no chips she said had extra fees really didn't ..I had to doubled check. They should move where you choose the no chips since it's exactly where the nail techs go to grab the polish. The service it's self was good. I felt like the pedi was a bit quick for my taste. Not sure if cause she was in a rush, but didn't seem as detailed as other places. The no chip came out pretty well. She ended up doing my manicure in the pedi area. They were so busy all the seats at the nail area was packed. I thought she did a better job with the nails than the feet. It also came with a neck and shoulder massage. Very nice! I would go back again, but on a weekday. Not sure cause it was a Friday that was the reason for the rushing. I like when places take their time when I'm getting my nails done. I have gone to OMG twice in the last year. I have a favorite nail salon in the south suburbs, but was given a gift card to OMG, so I decided to go back. My first experience wasn't great. My second experience was a bit better. I'll compare the 2: 1st time: desk staff are rude; scheduling an app is a joke - the wait was incredibly long with an appointment; the nail tech appeared unorganized and our pedicures took so long that the amount of time spent there made the experience a lot less enjoyable. 2 hours for a scheduled mani/pedi is too much. 2nd time: desk staff are still rude; scheduling an appointment is a joke. I called to see if I was able to move my appointment up. They were happy to accommodate since the appointment before me cancelled. I asked if I can still be accommodated in 25 minutes, since that's how long it will take me to get there. They said not a problem. I arrived exactly 25 minutes later. They me told she was with her appointment and I would have to wait. I stated that I just called and explained the conversation. Then the desk people said the client added an upgrade, so it's taking longer. I said her appointment before me cancelled. I ended up seeing someone else. The person who got my appointment was next to me. She got a no chip manicure with no upgrades. The desk staff lied and didn't apologize. Who actually did my mani & pedi did a great job and she was organized and efficient. The ambience is very nice. I love that they have plants everywhere. The nail techs are very nice and good at what they do. The desk staff are rude and impersonal. I do not recommend OMG based on the desk staff. Why start your spa experience being treated rudely? Go somewhere else where you're treated nicely. Anyone can paint nails and scrub your feet, but it's how you're treated that makes the experience. Ok I would give my technician 5 stars but tell me why did I open my eyes( I was relaxing eyes closed in the pedicure chair) to this Asian lady filming me. I happened to open my eyes and boom there she was phone out filming me. When I took mine out to film her back she almost ran with the owner and another lady with an infant to the back of the spa. So let me also mention that obviously the owner knew this woman, she was friendly when she walked in, more than a customer, and appeared to show her around. I did not give permsiion to be recorded or a photograph taken verbally or otherwise. Sad this happened as I have been a faithful customer here for a while now. Don't feel safe there now. read more
