Solid tiny takeout only boba shop. Known for their fresh fruit teas, they have an extensive menu to try! However, their Black Crystal (blended grass jelly with wintermelon syrup) is our family favorite! Downside: this place is small and only offers takeout, no socializing area or restroom. The store only holds maybe 3-4 people max.

We had a pretty heavy dinner and wanted something refreshing. This seemed like the best spot to choose from! Located in a plaza with shared restaurants, the parking lot is a bit small, so you may or may not be lucky with finding a parking spot here. The shop is really small, there's also no public restroom here. A place where you just grab your drink & go. We ordered the Pink Beauty and the Fruit tea here. The drinks didn't take too long to make since we were the only people there! It's also a bit too quiet, so it's kinda awkward LOL It said that the Pink Beauty is more like a slushee drink, but it's not at all. Which I'm also totally fine with that too. First sip of the drink and honestly... it's very mid haha. There's nothing really special about this drink tbh since none of the flavors were very prominent. At least it's a bit refreshing to have. I did also enjoy the jellies that came with it too. I tried the fruit tea here and it was also nothing too special. It tastes literally fruit and water, and light notes of tea. We always get something like this at Yi Fang, so this wasn't comparable to Yi Fang. I mean the drink kinda does the job if you want something refreshing, but it also tastes like something you can just put together at home. Nothing too special.

I have been here several times, and each trip has been consistently solid. Pink Beauty: This is my favorite drink here: even though I almost opt for stronger tea, this non-caffeinated drink is really worth it! Dragon Beauty: This is a really interesting drink, and the dragonfruit flavor came out so much more than I thought despite it being a really light fruit! There isn't that much space inside to sit, but most people take their orders to go anyway. This store is tucked away in the corner of its plaza, but make sure not to miss this gem!

Head over here for fresh fruit teas. It's right across the ever popular Yun tea house. I prefer the fresh fruit tea from this shop than any other place in convoy. The pink beauty is popular for a reason. It is refreshing and sweet. We have been visiting this small shop periodically for a few years now, it's a nice place to get a quick drink if you don't want to wait to long.

    Boba Milk Tea $5.88

I made a trip to five different boba shops on Convoy to rank their "boba milk tea". I tried to get the closest to black tea if they had more than one option. I chose 100% sweetness and no ice (to eliminate dilution). Here are my ratings: 1 Camellia: boba milk tea, regular milk $6.38 2 Chakaa: ruby milk tea w brown sugar boba, regular milk $5.75 3 Tan-Cha: celon milk tea w caramel boba, non-dairy milk $7.25 4 Yun Tea House: Monkey King w boba, lactose-free house milk $7.28 5 DaYung: boba milk tea, non-dairy creamer $5.88 Caveats: I think DaYung made a mistake on the order because it had some ice in the drink when I picked it up. When I tasted it at home, it tasted watered down and completely bland, like there was no sugar. So I think instead of 100% sugar and 0% ice, they gave me 0% sugar and 100% ice. My friend called them to let them know of the mistake, and the manager offered to refund the money. That was incredibly nice of them to do so. In terms of the actual boba balls, DaYung's ranked #4. It was too mushy. There was no chewiness. That's too bad because I remember liking their boba. They still have week day promos. The current one for every day is anything strawberry.

I was in the area and was looking for boba, and this place popped up on Yelp. I prefer more fruit/natural flavors and the pictures looked yummy, so my boyfriend and I headed over. When you first get there, it's tucked away in the little corner of the shopping center. It's a small boba shop but it's clean and has an iQAir filter going so I'm happy! We ordered on the kiosk with no issues. The drinks came out very promptly, both of them within 5 minutes. It was very delicious! I got extra aiyu jelly in my Passionfruit drink, and it hit the spot for sure. I will definitely be going back!

overall score: B order: strawberry beauty the drink was good but it honestly had way too much topping. i barely had any liquid in it. other than that, i really enjoyed the drink. they use real strawberries and a hint of lime i believe and the drink comes together well. the jelly is also a nice addition which comes with the drink. service: we ordered on the self serve kiosk and the drink came out within 2 minutes. ambiance: pretty small store and parking is not an issue at all.

Placed an order online and took advantage of their 15% off promo. Ordered a Mango smoothie with aiyu jelly as well as a Brown Sugar Signature. Order took about 5 mins. This is not a place to go study, this is more of an order and go type of place. There are no tables inside to sit at but they have a kiosk to order. Mango smoothie was really refreshing, tasted just like the big mangoes puréed and then the Brown Sugar drink was filled with toppings. I appreciate that they fill your drinks to the brim. Will definitely come back!

This cute little shop in convoy is my favorite place to get fruit tea in SoCal. in ALL OF SOCAL. Their fruit teas are made with fresh fruit- if they don't have the fruit available, they won't make it ! All of the fruits I've had in my tea were yummy and never sour. My favorite is the strawberry beauty half sweet. It also comes with aiyu jelly as a topping and the combo is pretty refreshing ! I also get the pink beauty (which is tea, grapefruit, aiyu jelly and aloe) since grapefruit is a little more tart tasting, I recommend getting that one at 70% sweetness if you typically order 50% sweet. Service is pretty straightforward here, you order at the self check out tablet and the workers are helpful if you have any questions. Stop by happy hour in the afternoon to get a discount on your drinks ! I love this place, it's near and dear to my heart & I always come back whenever I'm in the area!

ORDER strawberry beauty w/ boba (4/5) super refreshing and not too sweet. it paired perfectly with the aiyu jelly that it comes with. the drink has a slight lemon flavor. SERVICE drinks came out quickly and orders were self taken on a kiosk. AMBIANCE relatively small store with seats available.

Watermelon Green Tea + Pink Beauty
    Laura J.

One of my favorite fruit tea places. Honestly, it took a while for them to make our drinks, but it looked like they were blending the fruits for each drink individually rather than it being pre-made. I've tried their Watermelon Green Tea and the Pink Beauty. Both drinks are very refreshing. The Watermelon Green Tea is more on the sweeter side and definitely stronger in the watermelon taste than the green tea. The Pink Beauty is more tart because of the grapefruit but I think it tastes great with the Jelly that it comes with it.

I wanted something a little extra, and this spot delivered. I ordered a custom lavender iced matcha with honey cold foam and wow... it was such a good call. The lavender wasn't overpowering, just light and calming, and paired so well with the earthy matcha. That honey cold foam on top? Chef's kiss. It added the perfect touch of sweetness without making the drink feel heavy. Every sip was smooth, balanced, and honestly kind of addicting. What really stood out though was the service. It was my first time and I had zero clue what to get, but the girl at the register was so sweet and patient. She took her time helping me figure out a combo I'd love and made the whole experience feel really welcoming instead of rushed. You can also customize your milk (coconut, etc.), which I always appreciate. The shop itself is adorable. Think soft pink, super cute, aesthetic vibes all around. There's even an upstairs area that's set up for tea parties, which is such a fun touch and makes it feel a little more special than your average coffee spot. They also have pastries and small bites, so it's not just drinks if you're feeling snacky. Overall, this place is such a vibe. Great drinks, genuinely kind service, and a space that makes you want to hang out a little longer. Definitely coming back to try more of their menu.

I've worked in Little Italy in the past but have never tried Caffe Italia. I got their Italian sandwich, with the default bread being focaccia. Inside there were prosciutto, salami, ham, provolone, tomato, and house made balsamic vinaigrette. It had a good balance of deli meats, and the focaccia bread was thick to hold it all together. I thought it was tasty as well as their coffee, however my coffee wasn't filled up all the way. It is strong and their roast is bold! I liked it a lot, although a lunch meal can get costly so it would just be from time to time if I were to revisit. Not only that, but they also have a small selection of gelatos which look pretty authentic like Spumoni! Other desserts I saw were mousse, tiramisu, cannoli, cheesecake, carrot cake, and rugelach. The cafe is small and the service may take a bit if you are waiting for the food, but overall, I enjoyed my coffee and sandwich.

What I got was that -- and a whole lot more. Hannah and Jessica were working, and from the moment I walked in, the vibe was just right. I'm a straightforward guy -- black coffee with a splash of cream, print newspaper, no frills. When I mentioned I was old school, Hannah gave me exactly the kind of response that makes you feel seen rather than teased. These two have a gift for reading their customers and making everyone feel like a regular, even on a first visit. I asked Hannah for just a splash of cream -- I told her I wanted it the color of my skin. She nailed it on the first try. That might sound like a small thing, but it isn't. It means she was actually listening. I mentioned I was still reading a print newspaper -- an increasingly rare habit, apparently -- and Jessica didn't miss a beat. She told me they needed more of that, and invited me to sit down and read the paper and tell them what was good in it. I had somewhere to be, so I took my coffee to go -- but I genuinely wanted to stay. That kind of warmth isn't something you can fake or train for. It's just who they are. When I tried to leave a tip on the way out, Jessica looked at me and said I had great energy. I took that with me along with my coffee. The coffee itself? Excellent. Clean, well-made, perfectly calibrated -- in more ways than one. I came back later in the day. They were closing up, short-staffed and winding down. I left a tip then too, and they told me I was "extra." I told them if that's extra, the world needs more of it. They laughed. I meant every word. Here's the real tip though -- and I'm leaving it for you, the reader: just go. Go in, order something simple, and pay attention.
