Definitely expect some lines still, but it is not as bad as the Irvine location. Inside, there is limited seating at this one so it is more of a grab and go vibe. 10/10 Omomo Matcha Special - This is my go to drink and I always ask for 80% sweetness. TBH I think I could go even less sweet because it's overpoweringly sweet sometimes even at 80%. 7/10 Boba - I was a bit disappointed in the boba. This is Omomo which is one of the most popular spots in SoCal and especially for this price point you expect perfection. 2 words..PINEAPPLE ALICE!!! Lol If you haven't stopped by your local OMOMO recently, I highly suggest that you make a trip because their seasonal drinks right now are FIRE! I legit am on my fourth day (in a row..don't judge me) of stopping by to order the pineapple Alice. I love me some pineapple & coconut any day, so this drink was a winning combo for me. In a nutshell, it's Greek yogurt blended with fresh pineapple, and topped with their house-made coconut whip. First time I got 50% sweetness level, which is good, but being a fruity smoothie, I would have preferred it a lil sweeter, thus moving forward, I learned my lesson and got 80%..and it was perfect! A new Omomo spot! It was extremely busy! The line was long. Once people placed their orders, more people come in continuously...line just don't shorten at all! There was a seating area. I only waited about 10 minutes total to order and receive our drinks, which is insane compared to the hr+ wait times at the Irvine location! For drinks we ordered the magnolia tea with cheese foam and boba, and the avocado smash. The magnolia tea flavor was very light and refreshing and as perfectly complimented by the salty cheese foam! Tried the seasonal pineapple drink, Pineapple Alice, and really enjoyed it! It's a pineapple yogurt blended drink with whipped cream on top, perfect for the hot weather recently. I will say that the yogurt flavor was more on the Yakult side rather than a drinkable yogurt flavor like the one at Yomie's Rice Yogurt. So here it's a little sweeter and less of the greek yogurt vibe I was expecting if that makes sense. Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Parking lot is a shared business plaza huge no problems with parking. Very large, clean, and spacious inside. No sitting tables just benches to wait for your drink. The line was short and moved quickly. My drink came out quickly too. Workers all looked miserable. I asked for a recommendation and she was not enthusiastic at all. It's okay maybe they were all just having a bad day. I just went for a black jade milk tea full sugar and full ice. It was perfect for me nice and cold and refreshing. A good spot for teas and drinks that is consistent with the other locations. There's a lot of parking in the plaza. There are some benches for seating inside, but most people just take it to go. The line can get long, but they keep it moving very quickly. The drinks are also prepared quickly and it seemed a little bit faster than the Irvine location. My favorite drink is the strawberry green tea. It's very refreshing and full of fresh strawberries. The only menu that they had was right above the cashier, so it's best to look at the menu online while you're waiting so that you can order as soon as you get to the front of the line. read more

I was frankly surprised by the poor service at OMOMO, and given the cold "corporate" response I received afterward, this will likely be my last visit. I had high expectations given the premium pricing, but the experience was subpar. I ordered a matcha milk tea, and the staff member suggested adding foam. She did not mention an extra charge, nor the amount ($1.25). When I noticed the higher total and asked about it, I was dismissively told to "look at the menu." Expecting a customer to hunt through a dense menu for a price that should have been disclosed during the upsell is simply poor service. Beyond the service, the drink itself was a disappointment. The foam--which I didn't even want--ruined the flavor, the matcha was lackluster, and the boba was mushy and stuck together. Additionally, there is no real seating; the interior is just a waiting area, and the only nearby tables belong to Starbucks. When I reached out to customer service later that day, they simply sided with the staff, stating in an email that guests should check the confirmation screen. It's disappointing when a business prioritizes being "right" over basic hospitality. For over $8 for a drink (with foam and boba extra), you can find much better value, a true sit-down experience, and better boba elsewhere. There was a line out the door on Saturday at 12:30 p.m., but it wasn't too bad of a wait compared to the Irvine location. There is a fairly sizeable waiting area inside, which is nice. I ordered my favorite Grapefruit Smash ($6.85) and it tastes the same as the Irvine location. This is definitely going to be my preferred location if the wait is shorter than the Irvine one - which is the only reason why I don't frequent as much. After seeing all the hype these past few years especially since their Irvine is their most popular, I'm glad that more locations opened! I decided to give it a shot and got the Omomo Matcha since my friend had recommended me to try it. Not gonna lie, it is pretty pricey, nearly $8. BUT luckily there wasn't a line when I went, so I got my drink really fast! The drink itself was a good balance between the crème brûlée and the matcha flavor was pretty strong but tasty. Their matcha definitely kept me up at night. Afterwards, I've come here a few times. There was a time when I got a drink with Aloe Vera and it was really bad. I visited Omomo Tea Shoppe on opening day, which meant a pretty long wait (over an hour), but they did hand out a tote bag and keychain, which was a nice bonus. I was excited to see a new Omomo location closer to home and was especially curious about their location-specific drinks, like the Magnolia Green Tea series. I ordered the magnolia green tea with matcha foam and minimal sweetness. I liked the idea of it since magnolia is such a pleasant, fragrant flower, but the flavor ended up being stronger than I expected. It just wasn't quite my personal preference, though I can see how others might enjoy it. The shop itself is really nice--modern, bright, and filled with natural light. It's finally open, the long-awaited Tustin location! The shop is crisp and clean, minimalistic which I like. There's a high-back couch on one side and a large bench in the center, perfect for people to sit while waiting. So far I've tried grapefruit smash and taro milk. The grapefruit smash wasn't as smashing as I was expecting and the verdict is still out on the taro milk. The purée didn't mix with the milk. I think it would be better blended. Great to see another Omomo location open up! What's great too is their flavors are the same, still the great tea taste unique to Omomo. Came here on a Sunday afternoon and the line wasn't too bad. Took about half an hour from waiting in line to getting our drinks. This location is much more spacious inside. It was still part of their grand opening special so they were still giving out pins, Keychain or tote bags. There is a Tustin exclusive of Mangolia flavored drinks so decided to try it out. I've never had Magnolia flavored drinks before so this was a new experience! It was definitely floral as expected, but not too overpowering. We came by today around 2:30 pm and waited an hour to order our drinks. Only one cashier taking the orders. We got our drinks in 2 mins once we placed our orders. They should've another cashier to take orders then the wait would be a lot shorter. The poor guy who was taking orders was very patient. We got a lemon tea and a mango tea. Both are pretty good drinks. We got a free tote bag for each of us and a discount card for future visit. I don't think it is worth an hour wait. They have a large waiting area with plenty of seats, but not much seating if you wanted to have your drink "for here". I got a Magnolia Matcha with cheese foam. It was great! Matcha with floral undertones. The cheese foam was amazing -- kind of a cheesecake-ish flavor, but I'm not sure it is worth an extra $1.25 as an add-on. read more

I always get the Omomo matcha and it's always made perfectly, whether it's this location or the Irvine one. I feel like having this newer location really offsets the lines in both. This one is located in between Starbucks and Dave's Hot Chicken in the 99Ranch plaza off Newport. The parking lot is huge, so never an issue. Drinks are consistent with the Irvine location as I live near one and work near the other, so visit either location at least once a week. Love the black jade tea with the tiramisu top but the drinks with caffeine are pretty strong, so good if you need the boost, but not if it keeps you up at night! Customer service is always good. Put in your number for points. Like at the other location, there's really not seating inside except for those waiting, but unlike the Irvine one, there's no outdoor seating. So this is more of a grab and go location, whereas with the Irvine location, you can usually find some seating outside. read more

Wanted to get some Omomo to use a gift card we got for Lunar New Year so we stopped by the Irvine location thinking there'd be a low line and of course there was a long line outside haha. Yelp search showed there was a Tustin location so we decided why not go there instead and it most likely would have a lower wait time/line even with the extra drive time. Correct! Based on its signage, it looks like it's pretty new and hasn't even had the "grand opening" yet. They have a sign saying service may be slow since they're new etc. Line took less than 10 minutes and drink readiness another less than 10 minutes. The Oreo brulee taste the same! It was cool they have drink options unique to the location which I'm sure helps drive traffic to their various stores. Going with the theme of relatively new staff, they forgot to add our lychee jelly topping so I went back to ask if they could just add it in and re-seal it. They said they'd just remake the drink and we could keep the wrong one too, pretty standard and great! The kind of service and experience I'd expect for paying $14 for two beverages. But they asked for the drink receipt and when they checked their ticket he explained there wasn't lychee jelly because I didn't pay for it or in other words the cashier forgot to add it or with the noise inside, she just didn't hear us order it to add it. So I offered to pay for it but he said he'd just give us a side of lychee jelly for free which I then added to my existing drink by tearing the lid more open. I asked if I could get a new lid but the plastic lids don't fit the standard boba cups and it didn't sound like they wanted to re-seal it, maybe a food safety health violation thing I don't know. I think as he saw my deformed drink, he somewhat offered to remake it but at that point it just felt like an awkward situation and having a bigger seal opening wasn't the biggest deal. After all, lychee jelly on the house! Overall would recommend as the line was MUCH shorter than Irvine and quality is the same. read more
