This Omomo location has become my go-to, but only because it's local. The drinks good, but not my absolute favorite. Overall, they have pretty slow service and service interactions are a 50/50 - but it hasn't gotten too bad now that there's an app. read more

The drink I always get is the jasmine milk tea with boba and 50 percent it's a nice taste and with it being less sugar the boba combines it to make it perfect. The workers are nice and always there to help and welcoming new customers and helping every person. The inside is nice I just really wish they have little bit of more space because when it gets packed there isn't a lot of seating. read more

There was a worker with a Monsters University Hat and she was incredibly rude and her customer service was very poor. From the moment I walked in to ask about my order, she was very harsh and rude. When I went to pick up my drink, I asked for an insulated bag for my drinks because I have to drive more than an hour back and she just told me "I can't give you a bag." I understand that the insulated bag may cost extra but instead of immediately saying no, she could have mentioned that the bags are an extra charge. I had asked if there was any way I could pay for a bag and she just showed me to the cashier. I've worked in customer service so being understanding when the order is not ready, being delayed, or even being made incorrectly is not a problem at all. However, workers being rude and unprofessional for no reason is not acceptable at all. read more

They also have a points system now when you order in store for pick up with your phone number. They have a large waiting area with plenty of seats, but not much seating if you wanted to have your drink "for here". I got a Magnolia Matcha with cheese foam. It was great! Matcha with floral undertones. The cheese foam was amazing -- kind of a cheesecake-ish flavor, but I'm not sure it is worth an extra $1.25 as an add-on. read more

YES YES YES, I love their seasonals typically like the summer peach and magnolia series. OMOMO is super duper yummy and I keep coming back. I do think some of the milk teas tend to be on the lighter side, they're more known for their fruity drinks! So happy OMOMO added a Tustin location! So far it hasn't been too crowded but the quality is just as good as the Irvine location. In particular I noticed an improvement in the texture and taste of the boba after their soft opening. Really happy about the quality and taste now and look forward to visiting and saving time since the lines haven't been super long. This place is amazing. I am so glad that the opened up a location near me. There are sometimes that the place is super crowded and sometimes it is bearable. I went on a day it took about 10 minutes to order. As for the drinks we got the magnolia matcha and the omomo matcha. The magnolia matcha which is a location exclusive was the star of a show. Wanted to get some Omomo to use a gift card we got for Lunar New Year so we stopped by the Irvine location thinking there'd be a low line and of course there was a long line outside haha. Yelp search showed there was a Tustin location so we decided why not go there instead and it most likely would have a lower wait time/line even with the extra drive time. Correct! Based on its signage, it looks like it's pretty new and hasn't even had the "grand opening" yet. They have a sign saying service may be slow since they're new etc. Line took less than 10 minutes and drink readiness another less than 10 minutes. The Oreo brulee taste the same! It was cool they have drink options unique to the location which I'm sure helps drive traffic to their various stores. Going with the theme of relatively new staff, they forgot to add our lychee jelly topping so I went back to ask if they could just add it in and re-seal it. They said they'd just remake the drink and we could keep the wrong one too, pretty standard and great! The kind of service and experience I'd expect for paying $14 for two beverages. But they asked for the drink receipt and when they checked their ticket he explained there wasn't lychee jelly because I didn't pay for it or in other words the cashier forgot to add it or with the noise inside, she just didn't hear us order it to add it. So I offered to pay for it but he said he'd just give us a side of lychee jelly for free which I then added to my existing drink by tearing the lid more open. I asked if I could get a new lid but the plastic lids don't fit the standard boba cups and it didn't sound like they wanted to re-seal it, maybe a food safety health violation thing I don't know. I think as he saw my deformed drink, he somewhat offered to remake it but at that point it just felt like an awkward situation and having a bigger seal opening wasn't the biggest deal. After all, lychee jelly on the house! Overall would recommend as the line was MUCH shorter than Irvine and quality is the same. read more

Finally another Omomo location open in OC! Came during their grand opening so they still had promotions so we were able to receive a tote bag, keychain, or pin. Loved the interior, more spacious than the Irvine location and well renovated! Staff were friendly as well, answering any question I had. I got the Uji Green Milk Tea with boba (it has always been my go-to). It's the perfect balance between matcha and a good jasmine milk tea flavor. Glad to see this new Omomo location held up to its standards and was consistent to the other locations in terms of quality and flavor of drinks. Came on a weekday mid-day so there was no wait. Ordered the magnolia milk tea, which has a very light floral taste with 30% sweetness. It's a light drink that doesn't taste or feel too heavy. I like that the tea flavor was very prominent compared to the milk flavor. Boba was a little on the harder side but still nice and chewy. They were doing hands on training, and our cashier was very detailed in asking us how we wanted our drinks. I like the Omomo matcha at 50% sweet, so good. My friend and I went today as we wanted to support a new business and try something new. We went in there knowing nothing about the drinks, but willing to explore. We started with asking about the mango drink and what's in it and the young lady at the front counter replied in a condescending tone as if we should know what's in it "mango and cheese". Then we asked about another drink and she was very annoyed and just pointed to the milk selections small menu at the counter. And I replied in an apologetic tone "it's our first time here, so that's why we have questions". That's when my friend asked if we should go somewhere else and I looked at the young lady and said "we're leaving, we're not supporting this business". No apology. No, "hey, what else can I answer". I always get the Omomo matcha and it's always made perfectly, whether it's this location or the Irvine one. I feel like having this newer location really offsets the lines in both. This one is located in between Starbucks and Dave's Hot Chicken in the 99Ranch plaza off Newport. The parking lot is huge, so never an issue. Drinks are consistent with the Irvine location as I live near one and work near the other, so visit either location at least once a week. Love the black jade tea with the tiramisu top but the drinks with caffeine are pretty strong, so good if you need the boost, but not if it keeps you up at night! Customer service is always good. Put in your number for points. Like at the other location, there's really not seating inside except for those waiting, but unlike the Irvine one, there's no outdoor seating. So this is more of a grab and go location, whereas with the Irvine location, you can usually find some seating outside. read more

I would have to say that OMOMO Tea Shoppe is one of my favorites. Though I did order less ice and 50% sweetness, the Oolong Milk Tea was flavorful. You can really taste the Oolong and I do not like it too sweet. Place made it perfectly. The staff was nice also and definitely need to come back if I'm in the area again. Wow this place is worth the hype! The drinks are made fresh and taste it too. I got the watermelon tea, I forgot what it was called but damn it was SO DELECTABLE. It was incredibly refreshing and I can feel the addiction setting in LOL the price is very fair and actually my drink came out in a fairly quick amount of time. This place does get packed though so get in line if there is one, you'll have time to decide what you want by the time you get to the front of the line. Line was decent, about the same as their other location, even for it being their opening weekend. Waited about 20 min in line staff was great and friendly. Inside, they have a decent amount of seating. Drinks were great like always, same level of quality control from their other shops, which is great to see. Even with many people, they were able to churn out drinks at a quick pace. Their exclusive drinks were quite good, a bit too floral for my taste but my partner absolutely enjoyed the magnolia milk tea. read more
