On Call Moving & Storage provided the best moving service I have ever experienced. As retired military, I have been through many moves through my lifetime and On Call was far and away the best. They provided a fixed, and reasonable (almost half of the first mover I contacted), quote for packing, moving out of state and storage, and even though my move was delayed by several months, they stuck with the quoted price. They performed the services themselves, not farmed out like many other companies, and the team worked like a well oiled machine. Each team member seemed to enjoy their work and took pride in their workmanship, not a single broken item. They were on-time and stayed in good communication, relieving quite a bit of stress through this stressful period of long distance moving. We used them for a move from Edmond to Denver and so many things were broken. When they opened the truck they had a huge stack of moving blankets folded and not used, things not strapped for movement and the unload was chaotic to say the least. I literally had to tell the two unloaders to just put things in the garage vs move things into the house because so many things were broken. My husband contacted the manager, no response. We'll be contacting the owner tomorrow to see if there's any customer service. It was not a cheap move at all - they were middle of the road in terms of bid, but for sure not great packing up/loading up or unloading. read more

They were reasonably priced, professionally packed my items, and were on time in both locations with very little wait time in between. After vetting many companies and reading many horror stories, they removed much of the stress/worry from my "marathon move". Registration, insurance, logistics, a 26' truck with their company name on it, and more than enough supplies to complete the packing process, all checked out. A word of advice in retrospect: Pack your own items, if you can, you'll save some money and avoid searching for things at your destination. I'm still looking for my TV remote. On Call Moving Crew delivered oir furniture and unpacked all of the boxes after storring them for 1 month in their warehouse, at our new place of residence. I was very impressed by this crew when they packed up and picked up 1 month ago to place in storage for 1 month. Dont be fooled by the almost 5 starts on here , if you look through the reviews, alot of the people have the same pic but different names, fake reviews!! If i could give 0 stars i would. The office staff is nice but the movers are unprofessional and awful! They informed me when they got there that they wanted to see a ufc fight that night, I didn't pay attention to that until I experienced their unprofessionalism as it inched towards 6pm as they wanted to leave to go see the fight . One guy stated that it would only take 45 more minutes to finish the job and that I should give him my payment info at that time, so I did. He proceeded to close out the job with my payment information around 530, which I didn't ask him to do , claiming it would only take 45 min to finish the rest . 30 minutes went by and they became very rude and snappy within that time frame . Claiming they were leaving in 5 min regardless if they had finished what they stated they would or not . Stating I closed out and they are leaving. I told them I would pay extra for them to stay , I don't expect them to work for free, but they didn't respond and kept repeating that they were leaving . Obviously to go see the fight that was on. Ontop of leaving a large portion of the job undone, they broke my sealing fan in my new home. When I tried to call the office to tell them their men were leaving no one answered . I called Monday and was informed that their workers Raul and Polo stated I refused to pay past 2hrs of work and that I demanded they work for free. Claiming I requested they leave my dresser in the middle of the living room (which sounds so stupid). The office basically called me a liar. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism and shady work practice from a moving company before , and I have moved well over 20 times in my life. Do not use this company, they are so shady . I don't understand how they still are in business to be honest. Maybe it was just those 2 movers I got . So if you are going to use them, make sure you don't get Raul or Polo. But the office believed nothing I said , so I recommend not using them at all. You're a dirty liar. I asked one of your movers if he would be Interested in a bunny . I was trying to rehome one. And the dresser is in my room now, I paid other movers to put it in there. Also , I was there when the movers called you telling you they broke the fan, and if you actually opened the picture you would see it's missing an entire blade, that Raul broke off by lifting my sons bed too high ! You are just as disgusting and shady as your movers which I'm not suprised seeing all the fake reviews under your name here , next time you make fake accounts yo post fake reviews,maybe use a different profile picture for each fake account. To begin with, they came to my home to give me an in-person FLAT RATE quote that they promised would not go up. They were true to their word and the price remained the same. They packed my 4 bedroom house in ONE DAY, then loaded the truck in one day, and drove and delivered my items 2 days later. I have never experienced such an incredible crew of people. Not only did they pack everything with incredible care (nothing broke), they were all so friendly and nice. Every single person (there were 7 of them each day!) showed up with a smile and they did a truly incredible/professional job. 2 women packed all our kitchen items/dishes, and personal clothing. And 5 men packed all the large furniture. Then once they arrived in CO, they took the time to set up our rooms exactly as they were before--couches were where they were supposed to be, rugs were laid out nicely. It was amazing. These movers are horrible, they damaged over 25k worth of items and will not contact me back. They came over and took pictures and have repeatedly told me that they were speaking with their insurance. We told them we wanted to figure this out before the last payment was remitted and now they are trying to sue. Completely unprofessional, they broke our tv, a antique decorative piece, and the list goes on. They did a partial move on a Friday and then didn't show up on Saturday. When I spoke with the owner, he said they had a prior move scheduled. So he double booked and lied about it. Do not use them, we had to call another moving company to finish the move because they didn't show up Also Luis, your owner has reached out now. You don't have me in your system because our nanny signed the agreement. It is presently in court, and waiting for your furniture person to fix it. I have been moving throughout Orange County with Luis and his On Call Moving company for about 4 years. I moved 4 times and also had them move my daughter twice, once to San Diego. They are impeccable. They arrive on time, they are clean, organized and know exactly what to do. They protected all my furniture extremely well, including all my precious art, and antiques, glass etc. No job is too big or too hard for them. When they couldn't park the large truck near my driveway, they parked it down the road, and walked up the hill with my furniture on a narrow road and no sidewalk. They never complained. In one of my moves, my house had a narrow stairwell but that didn't stop them... they took the furniture outside and pushed it all up onto the balcony and into the bedroom. They have never complained about anything, and were always pleasant and sweet and hardworking. Never was anything ever broken or scratched. They always come prepared with tons of clean blankets to wrap on the furniture, plenty of tape, paper, plastic etc. Their attitudes, and work ethic are priceless. They worked 10 hours yesterday on a tough move for me in Laguna Beach, and they worked extremely hard. They never took a break. Luis' men are kind, hardworking and very strong. They also have a great sense of how to secure all the furniture and boxes in the truck, and how to pile it all up so it doesn't break as it is driven around. Once they arrive at the destination, they set up all the beds, and place all the furniture where you want it them too. All the men are always professional, capable, very aware, polite, sweet, and their appearance is always clean and professional too. Luis' prices are also very fair.. I highly recommend On Call Moving for any of your moves, large or small. You won't regret it. Your precious belongings are in great hands and well cared for as they pack it and move it for you. This moving company broke my $2,400 TV and refused to replace or even assist in fixing it. They wasted our time and in the end the manager said he would give us $100. Complete slap on the face. They are not fully licensed and insured. I would not recommend them to anyone! Horrible customer service and they do not take ownership for their mistake. I reported them and awaiting results. If anyone had a similar situation, feel free to contact me for a class action. In the below response Luis states that the video I sent him showed someone tampering with the TV. We opened the back to look at the overall mechanisms but didn't touch anything. If my TV was working fine, why in the world would I be doing anything to it?!?! We used this company for a home-to-home move and sadly they had a disregard for our belongings. The staff had a careless handling of our property and we have been literally left holding the bag of broken heirlooms, furniture and equipment. IMPORTANT: If you do use them, read the damages/valuation options. There are 3 options that appear to be 3 levels of protection, yet all of which are the same and only offer 60 cents on the pound for replacement of your belongings that they lose or break. Yes, ON THE POUND, not the value! Its no wonder they were so careless with our items. The supervisor did apologize and made statements that he would "make it right" and "sorry for our unprofessionalism". He did take a few pictures of some of our damaged items and said he would talk to the company's insurance. It's now been over 90 days without a single effort to resolve. Listen, it takes trust to not only let strangers into your home and touch all your stuff, but also to deliver on the expectation that your belongings you work so hard for, are handled with care. I tell you, we've lived in SoCal all of our lives. This year, we decided to retire. To leave our friends and family to move to Idaho. Luis was very professional and friendly. He came through our home, took inventory through everything, and gave us our quote. His prices are fair and honest. On packing day, Thursday, he had the nicest ladies pack our kitchen and dining rooms while seven other guys packed the rest of the house. It took eight hours to pack almost 1900 square feet and a two car garage. The whole crew was respectable and friendly. They all worked as a team, and got along with one another. Luis even came by to make sure everything was going okay. The next day, Friday, they came to load everything onto two trucks. It took about five hours. Everything went so smooth. Luis called on Sunday to make sure we were meeting at our new place at the agreed time. We met them on Monday with a Spokane crew. They were early and prompt. It took them about four hours to unload everything into the garage and house. They were professional and friendly. As emotional and draining it has all been, On Call Movers have been excellent! I moved from LA to the South Bay. They got my things from my condo in LA, stored it for a month and then unpacked my things when my new house closed escrow. The great thing is that they sent the same crew that packed my belonging to unpack my belongings. So after a month, the crew remembered what room everything went in. Unbelievable. He stated that 2-26ft trucks would be used plus 4 movers. On the day of the move they showed up with 2 additional movers at no extra cost. The movers were professional and well organized. Luis gave us a fair estimate and didn't nit pick over tape, picture or TV box charges, wardrobes, etc., and his workers carefully unassembled our baby grand piano.
