My initial thought was "great, a power surge fried my dryer" and started looking around for an honest and reputable repairman who would come and diagnose the issue. After some browsing I called Ace and left a message. Within an hour or so Stan was calling me back, I explained what had happened and what was going on with my dryer and we set up a timeframe for the following day so he could come out and take a look. He told me he'd also text me when he was about 30 minutes away. The next morning I get a text from Stan to let me know he was on his way, he showed up right on time and instantly got to work. Within a few minutes he had figured out what was wrong with my dryer, the motor was overheating due to ball bearings locking up, and it was just a happy coincidence that it crapped out right after the power outage. He explained to me that he could order a new motor and fix it, but he was also very honest about the fact that by the time he factored in his labor on top of the cost of the motor, and the possibility he may still need other parts once he opened up the dryer, that I was probably better off just buying a new one. He told me which dryers to avoid due to them needing constant service, and also told me what to keep an eye out for to get the best bang for my buck. He was very friendly and informative and not pushy at all which was AMAZING. On top of that I told him I'd write him a check for the service call rate and he told me not to worry about since the dryer was shot and I was just going to buy a new one. What a stand up guy! Not that I'm hoping for other appliance failures, but one thing is for sure, if it happens, I will definitely be calling Stan. He's honest and seems to take pride in his work and experience, so what more could one really ask for?

I put out a quote…read morerequest to multiple Yelp electricians and Richard was one of the few that responded effectively for my request for an estimate to install an outdoor outlet to charge an EV vehicle. Other electricians either did not respond, gave estimates way too high or too low, and did not walk through the process. Richard came out for a free assessment and was very flexible on scheduling right up to install completion. The job was installing wiring from the breaker to a location close enough for charging. The circuit was a 240v/30amp line to a bell box. The job was completed in a timely manner and looked professional. As chosen by my landlord, we decided to surface mount the line in pvc, but it still looks very clean and is more economical than other means of running the line. Richard also followed up afterwards to guarantee his work. I would recommend him to anyone looking for efficient communication, professional install, and great customer service. He works as if he still wants to earn your business which is great nowadays where many businesses have forgotten about that.

I had several visits from another…read moreservice provider to try and address an issue with our Kitchenaid refrigerator (a regrettable purchase that could be the subject of another lengthy, but unfavorable, review). When the problem recurred, I called Econo and gave up on the first provider. Problem solved! Adam was careful and thorough in fixing a difficult problem with our refrigerator. He was kind enough to follow up to see how the repair was holding up (still good!) and even looked into the cost of a replacement part in the event there was still a problem. Really great service from a company that does it right and wants to make sure the customer is happy. Done. Happy customer here, for sure.
