He charged me $299.00, $175.00 for the "custom" cover and $110.00 for labor plus tax. After a year later due to a problem with "Joey and his Son" making excuses as to not having the part in and that I tried to dispute the charge (in which made Joey very upset). Joey told me to "come back next week" and he will put the cover and lock on. Today (04/22/2026) he put it on my bike holding it on with tie wraps, it didn't even look like the picture he showed me on his computer! Anyone can remove the box, I really thought this place of business is all about Security and a Locksmith?! I have second thoughts with the type of contraption I was left with! I went back and said the buttons were farther down than the original. He said, if so, I had an off market key. This was the original key that came with the car when it was new and no it wasn't off key (Lie #2). Lie #1 was when he couldn't find a record of my having bought the key with him. When I went back the second time, I showed him my record of paying him. Now this time, he said if I wanted the buttons to be up where I could just press on them, I should buy a different type of key fob. Which, foolish me did which cost more of course. So after spending a total of a ittle more than $700, I received a key I could work with. Also, I was at this place for a long time as it wasn't put together right. The person had to take it apart redo the inside and reglue. I should have walked out the first time and needless to say, I will never go back to this place. Maybe because I'm a woman and not of the right ethnicity and of course gender, I got taken. So buyer beware is why I'm writing this.
