    Crab Vol Vent

I was excited to visit for the first time. Our reservation was for the lounge, but we were seated at a table by the window. The restaurant is pretty. They kept the layout the same as it was when it was the Italian restaurant before. The beautiful green tile at the hostess stand is gone, as are the gorgeous pendant lights and chandeliers. We were told that the French onion soup was award-winning, and the chef beat Bobby Flay making it. Of course, I had to try. It was flavorful and top with the nutty sweetness of Gruyere. I don't usually order or eat French onion soup, so I can't rate if it was the best or top tier. The chef did come around and greet everyone, asking how they enjoyed their meal. This was a nice touch. The crab vol vent was lump crab in a puff pastry with hollandaise and a poached egg on top. The pastry was buttery and flaky, and the crab and sauce were tasty. I'd stop by again for a tea and pastry.

Had a wonderful breakfast at One Day in Paris - I do recommend the place. The service was very attentive & smooth. The interior is casually elegant - very nice. I suggest reservations as I see they could get busy.

We celebrated a birthday for my friend. We had a delicious meal and the service was fantastic. We loved the decor, menu and atmosphere. It wasn't too loud or expensive.

My mom is a huge fan of French cuisine, so I was ecstatic to see a brand new beautiful restaurant pop-up just in time for our belated Mother's Day celebration. The designers did a wonderful job as stepping into the building you are transported into a chic and cozy bistro. The bar especially is a stand out with a beautiful floral arrangement front and center. We sampled a few of the lunch, menu items, including the veggie quiche, the traditional Lorraine quiche, and the croque madam. The quiches both thoroughly creamy and had great flavor. The quiche crust is beautifully layered and adds a great buttery crunch. I did not personally try the croque madam, but my family could not stop singing the praises of their delicious sandwiches. There were a few ebbs and flows with service that can easily be chalked up to the newness of the restaurant, but Ebony handled everything beautifully with a smile and happily fixed an issue that we had. On the cafe side, Lina helped us pick out some great pastries which were also to die for. The peach tart is my favorite, which unsurprisingly won the best dessert during taste of Alpharetta. One day in Paris has true potential to be a neighborhood staple as it offers so much versatility, originality, and flavor.

I love the location, beautiful decor, and pet friendly patio at One Day in Paris! I also love that they offer a gluten free pastry option. I have been twice and had the veggie quiche both times. The first time it was absolute perfection so when I ordered it the second time I was surprised that it seemed totally different and super loose and gooey in the middle. I'll probably try it a third time in hopes of getting a good one again because that first time was so good. The pastries are beautiful. The coffee was fine. Staff was friendly. The vibes were outstanding!

The hours for A Day in Paris that they unapologetically ignored.

Was the food good? We don't know. Was the atmosphere inviting. Also, we don't know. But the staff was not... On Saturday evening, after passing by, we looked up their website to make a plan for Sunday afternoon. The hours listed were 8-4, so we arrived a little before 3 to have plenty of time. And we were told they had just closed. I mentioned the times from the website, and was told they had brunch today. Brunch hours were listed to 2:30, but it definitely says open 8-4. The lack of apology or even a sense that they might care was particularly annoying. PS: should this happen to you, Minnie Olivia Pizzeria across the street was friendly and accommodating. And the Costolette pizza with braised short rib and garlic white sauce was amazing. The sangria is tasty, too. And everything is less expensive than a miserable day in Paris... -3/10

    Escargot & The Forest

We tried the new One Day in Paris in Alpharetta and will definitely be back. The food is flat out exceptional. From bistro classics, adapted items like the Duck Confit's call to a cassoulet to interpretive dishes like Escargot & The Forest the culinary team absolutely shines. The space is beautiful, welcoming and warm without being overly loud or disturbing. As it grows and the service matures it will be one of - if not the best - the top restaurants in Alpharetta.

I had the love potion which was a seasonal drink to celebrate Valentine's Day. It tasted like a cosmopolitan. The Duck Around and Find Out was heavy on the blue curaçao, so if you like that flavor, you'll love the drink. I enjoyed it. The calamari didn't have as many ring calamari as I would've liked but crispy. Needed a lemon or something to make it pop for the flavor. My fiancé ordered the blushing margarita which was also special for Valentine's Day. It was a really good raspberry marg, would definitely order again. Then, he had the adult Capri sun sangria, which was good but really sweet. The server did warn that it would be sweet, so wasn't bad just something to note. He also had the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls which were pretty good. Definitely filling as far as meat portion, enjoyed the flavor. Would've liked a little more cheese, and for the price, a larger amount would be better. It was two big rolls cut in half to make it seem like it was a large amount but really wasn't. The service overall was a little slow as far as getting food and drinks, but the servers themselves were pretty attentive. It was easy to get someone's attention, and they checked on us often enough. It was also very pretty on the inside, so aesthetically, it gets points there, too.

It was a pleasure to have as our server. As a Vegan diner, I found the menu options to be very limited, yet the experience more than made up for it. A special thank you to the General Manager for personally offering to have the Sweet Corn & Tomato Risotto prepared Vegan for me. It was thoughtfully customized without the stracciatella or pesto oil & it was delicious. That level of hospitality & willingness to accommodate dietary preferences made a lasting impression. Cooper's Hawk offers a welcoming upscale-casual dining experience with excellent handcrafted wines, a dedicated tasting bar, a full-service bar, and a beautiful dining area that's perfect for wine enthusiasts. The Wine Club is an excellent value, with monthly wine selections, exclusive tastings, member perks, and rewards. The retail items mirrors a true winery gift shop, as well with the dessert section upon walking in. The layout creates a true wine country experience that's perfect for both wine enthusiasts and first-time visitors. My only suggestion is to expand the Vegan and Vegetarian offerings. Plant-based & non-meat diners appreciate great wine too & more thoughtfully crafted options would make an already great experience even better. Looking forward to returning for the Wine O'Clock - Happy Hour & Brunch & Bubbles. It's been a long time since I've experienced this level of exceptional guest service from every team member I encountered. Thank you again, Naijah, for making my first visit so memorable.

Not undercooked (see for yourself in the pictures EDIT the pictures keep getting removed and I don't know why) completely raw in the middle. We are praying it does not make her seriously sick. This was supposed to be a nice dinner with just the two of us. Instead, the restaurant's response was simply to remove the chicken from the bill and move on as if serving raw poultry to a child was no big deal. That is completely unacceptable. Between the disappointment from looking forward to having a fun night out and the anxiety from biting into the chicken, the night ended in tears. I feel awful for her and there is no one to blame other than Cooper's Hawk. The was a SERIOUS food safety failure. I'll be filing a complaint with the health department as I documented this thoroughly before we left. We will never be back to Cooper's Hawk.

Amazingly we were able to be seated right away outdoor at the patio. Our server came right away to get our drinks and gave us time to review the menu. Maybe we were just extra hungry, but everything seemed to taste better than on my previous visits. Between the two locations, I definitely prefer this one. The décor feels more festive, and the atmosphere is lively. They have live music starting early in the evening and continuing until around 2 AM on weekends, making it a great place to celebrate, socialize, or enjoy a fun night out. Just know that it gets very loud, so if you're looking for a quiet, intimate dinner, this probably isn't the place. We've celebrated three or four birthdays here over the years, but this time we hosted a much larger party of about 50 people. Since it was such a big group, we had to reserve a preset menu with a deposit. It included unlimited food and drinks, and we were able to choose from several entrées while ordering as much as we wanted throughout the evening. The biggest downside was the wait. After being seated, it took about 45 minutes to an hour before the first dishes arrived. By then, a lot of us were definitely getting hangry. Thankfully, once the food started coming out, it kept flowing, and with the drinks constantly coming, everyone filled up pretty quickly. As for the food, this visit was definitely an improvement. The ceviche was fresh and flavorful, only needing a tiny pinch more of salt. The Brussels sprouts were excellent, and the calamari paired perfectly with the pico de gallo dipping sauce. The steak, however, was a little overcooked and chewy for my liking. The paella was just okay; the rice was cooked well, but the seasoning didn't quite hit the mark, and the mussels were unfortunately overcooked and dry. One thing to keep in mind is that there aren't any private event rooms. Everything takes place in the main dining area, so your party shares the space with everyone else while enjoying the live music. There's also a large outdoor patio, and sometimes they open the garage doors to blend the indoor and outdoor atmosphere, which is really nice. They didn't do that during our visit, though. Despite the lack of dedicated dancing space, we still had an amazing time. The restaurant was lively enough that our energetic group blended right in; we even got a train going through the restaurant! Overall, it was a fun celebration with great energy, good food, and an entertaining atmosphere. I'm really hoping the new Medley development near my house brings in a restaurant with this same kind of vibe. I'd definitely be a regular.
