Went to One North for Mother's Day with a large group of family. I've never been a fan of buffets and today's experience was a perfect example. The restaurant was under staffed for what is advertised on the Marquee as the Areas best Sunday buffet. After standing in a line for 20 minutes only to find the food was NOT replenished. Even the lettuce was out. The dessert table was a joke. This will be our first and last visit. It was so very disappointing. I paid $35 for an undercooked waffle and a total $157 plus a $25 tip for the family as we all walked out hangry. Needless to say we won't be back to One North. read more

We were helping a friend with building a raised bed so he could garden more comfortably. He lives on the west side so we decided to try One North which I had read about a while back. The facility is amazing and there was lots of space on the patio. The only drawback to the patio is the vehicle noise from Saginaw highway. The drinks menu was extensive as was the menu. We had a wonderful wait person who advised as to her favourite things to eat. The food was great. We will return when we are that side of town. read more

Eh is OK, pretty basic overall, straight from the Gordon's package like. The brunch line is a disorganized mess. Takes forever to get thru because they put the omelet bar at the end of it instead of apart from it the main so the entire line gets stalled by people ordering omelets. Also server ran our bill wrong so had to cancel and rerun it so now I have 2 $80+ charges on my account and of course even though when they charge they hit your account immediately when they F up and have to put money back it could take up to a Fn week. Places should get financially penalized for doing this, now i have nearly $100 tied up for God knows how many days!? They charge $5 for a glass of OJ, and then if you get it refilled SURPRISE it's another $5. They had one shot and blew it, won't be back. read more

Went to a birthday party at One North and from that visit have decided to never go back. We ordered a pizza, not only was it lacking in flavor it was extremely greasy. Our waiter was obviously overwhelmed, he was friendly but that doesn't make up for missing food, slow service and a lack of him " touching" his tables. When it came to paying the bill I noticed a forced 20 percent gratuity added. I usually tip 20 percent but that should be my choice, 15 is considered standard, 20 is for really good service which we didn't get. I asked about a pool table because the bar previously had one when it was Reno's West. The response I got was " we decided we didn't want that element". If I am asking doesn't that put me in the "element" they don't want? Needless to say I won't be back, I would prefer to take my business where it is appreciated and the kitchen staff can pull off a decent pizza, most bars can. read more

We were at One North Kitchen and Bar in Lansing, MI on a Saturday evening. We were seated immediately and the wait person quickly came and brought us ice water while we were deciding what we wanted to order. We ordered the pretzels and cheese dip as an appetizer and asked to have our pizza order put in in about half an hour. We were planning to stay for a while and listen to Kathy Ford who was performing that night. The pretzels and cheese dip were warm and yummy. The pizza came out about five minutes after we finished the appetizer. It was very good pizza. Our soft drinks were refilled frequently and the wait person was very friendly. We also spoke with the manager because we saw that they have trivia night on Tuesdays and we had a couple of questions about it. He answered our questions and was also very friendly. We had a great time and will definitely be returning soon. read more

We come to this place often for trivia and I want to like it more. The indoor-outdoor split looks cool and the menu has intriguing options for food and drinks. The experience is just poor. Trivia is not run well with one speaker blasting music and instructions with no projector screen and the bar is never ready for anyone. I have been to a few places after the pandemic and try to be understanding of understaffed workers, but bar tenders who refuse to take any orders and waitresses who don't write down the orders so they are always forgetting who ordered what just leads to headaches. The staff seems stressed and it's an overall difficult place to relax, especially as the air conditioning is seemingly never working. read more

Had a wonderful evening at One North this past weekend! The food was wonderful and the service was incredible! If you go, make sure to request Dez - she was charismatic, thoughtful, and attentive throughout the entire course of the night! We were there to celebrate a huge milestone and the entire experience was wonderful from start to end. The food was OK but, the service was terrible! Server could not figure out where to seat 2 people at 4:30 in the afternoon with tons of open seats. You had to ask for napkins, silverware and ketchup. Once the ketchup finally arrived it was almost empty! My opinion would be, save yourself the money and haste eat at home. read more

This was a last minute decision for dinner on a Saturday evening. There were 5 adults and 2 little kids. There was no wait. They seated us in a great area with no one around so the kids had a little space to move around in. Our waitress, Kaylaig, couldn't have been better. She was very sweet and efficient. We started with the smoked fish dip. So good!! Two in our party had the shrimp and cavatappi, and they agreed it was excellent. The spinach and salmon salad is the go to for one in our party. He gets it every time. Enough said. Everyone enjoyed their food, we appreciated the atmosphere, service was great. Definitely a trip we will repeat. read more

Great place for a quiet dinner with friends or family. I stop here at least once a week as my daughters have gym practice around the corner. Food always comes out hot, looks great and tastes awesome. Came in for some drinks and food and it was not especially busy. We were seated quickly by one of the few people at the hostess stand but it went downhill from there. Sat in the bar area for over 15 minutes without anybody even saying hello to us. Two servers walked past us several times, the host who sat us walked into the room and looked directly at us seeing no glasses and did nothing. Without an acknowledgement at all we decided to leave and went elsewhere and received immediate service even though they were busy and only had one server! No excuse for that. You guys had plenty of people working not to have stopped by our table. Shame. read more

Ate here at One North twice first time was in Jackson I got a flatbread pizza which was not good, It had panini looking grill marks on the top and bottom which seems really odd to me almost like they dropped it and recooked it? Also tried the saginaw hwy location I would say the food is average at best. Nothing tasted that great was not honestly impressed at all would not go back. read more

This was the first time my husband and I had been to this restaurant and I have to say, thanks to our wonderful and amazing waitress we had a great time. A few of the item we ordered unfortunately had to be send back but she was just amazing about it. She managed to get them removed from our order and even recommended other items for us to choose as a replacement meal. This wonderful, amazing, and over the top performance was done by and young women named Cloey. I'm pretty sure I got her name spelled wrong lol but I have to tell you that with out this young lady taking such great care of us this evening my husband has I would have gone home sorely disappointed. I came in tonight with a few friends to get some dinner and drinks because I finally had a night off of work. Albert was our server and he was the BEST. They were busy which was understandable as it was a Friday night, but he kept the energy up and kept us laughing the whole time we were there. My 5 stars is based solely on the service and laughs he provided us, but the food and drinks were great too! We were also checked on by whom I assume to be was the manager, so it was nice to see him out checking on things.
