All the bad reviews you see are true. I took a Christmas themed purse in for my wife in January. As I was speaking to him, he was pealing the failing finish off the faux leather making it worse. He said "you should just get a new one." I explained it was a one-off and my wife loved it. I gave him a $100 deposit. My claim stub had no estimate and no date on it (big mistake on my part). He didn't call or answer his phone for three months, so I went back. He still hadn't replaced the straps. Two months later he said he had to reinforce the straps he installed. Then I put off going back because of vacations. Before my final trip back, I read his negative reviews. I was really mad that I had fallen into his trap of tricks. I confessed to my wife that I didn't think I could control my anger if I had to go back. She went back today (7 months later). He asked for $100 and (fortunately she had the bag in her hands) she sternly said it isn't worth more than $60 (plus my $100 deposit). All for some trim and strap replacements on a handbag. You are better off driving to Santa Ana where there are ample trained and honest leather craftsmen. One Source should lose his business license! read more

I reluctantly said yes, cuz he promised it would be ready by the next day... the zipper didn't make it more than a day and a a half!!! Brought in my Black low boots to have the rubber heal/soles replaced. $45. ok, I'll pay for quality work, but there are Gaps all around the connection place where the new rubber soles connect to the leather substrate and even some points where he didn't clamp the joint good enough. I can wiggle the joint and can tell there wasn't enough glue there! On one shoe I can tell the new rubber sole is a bit too small. These are nice Perry Ellis black leather shoes! I have ancient TravelPro luggage. It has worn like iron- but I have recently needed some repairs to my roller board when one of the wheels split in 2 and also for a smaller bag when the zipper broke. Both times, I have not been disappointed. Not only did he replace both wheels- but he checked both pieces for other damage and took care of everything. I took a purse made from cork material with ripped handles over two weeks ago. The staff told me that he would reinforce all four handles with leather so they would be more secure. I called 8 days after leaving the purse and paying $70.00 and was told that he was working on it and it would be ready in a couple days. I called 6 days later and was told that he was still working on it and that it could take three weeks. Then an hour later I got a text that said it was ready. The purse does not have any leather on the handles and there is evidence of a few stitches on each of the handles but given the cork material (I got this at a craft store), it will simply rip again. I was in the middle of trying to understand what he was telling me he did not do and why when he took a personal phone call. At that point, I left -- I had no recourse, I paid my 70.00 and received a few stitches in return over two weeks time. If there was a negative rating, this is what this business would get from me. Run as far away as possible from One Source for any purse repair -- I will never take anything there again and do not recommend anyone else either. read more

I brought in two pieces of travelpro luggage to repair. First off, the place is a dump, with most everything crammed together and covered with a layer of dirt and grime. The guy has these fancy warranty form that he used but then he used a tiny shred of crooked masking tape on my second piece of luggage and wrote my phone number on it in a scribble that even i couldn't read it even though i knew the number - I wasn't very confident he would be able to keep track of my second piece or even call me if he needed to.. I asked him to fix three things of which one he said i had to pay for because it supposedly wasn't covered under warranty. I came back a few days later and looked at the luggage. The zipper problem looked fixed but then when I moved the zipped it revealed that the zipper problem wasn't fixed. He also didn't fix the lose handle and then replaced a zipper pull on the other piece of luggage for some unknown reason. The reason I knew that he replaced it is because the zipper pull didn't match the luggage. I asked him why he replaced it and he said it was broken. I didn't remember that it was broken and didn't ask him to fix it. At this point I just wanted to get out of there. He insisted on trying to fix the zipper issue and took it in back... came back in 3 minutes and said "ok, now it's fixed". As he started walking back to the counter I tested it and sure enough, it was still broken... I didn't say anything at this point because I wanted to get out of there and on with my day while wasting as little more of my time as possible. So to summarize: He replaced the wheels and charged me $32 which I thought should have been warranty, then didn't fix the two other things I asked him to under warranty, and then "fixed" something that wasn't broken... So now the zipper pull that doesn't match will remind me of this bad experience with this hole-in-the wall luggage repair place. I quickly paid teh $32 with my credit card and made my escape out of there. Now, I'm looking for another luggage repair place that covers the travelpro warranty to fix the first two items that wasn't covered. . What a huge waste of time. read more

I called to shop to see if they were an authorized TravelPro repair shop as the web site states and they told me yes. I proceeded to take my suitcase to them to replace the handle that was ripped off the bag and covered 100% under the lifetime warranty. He originally told me 4 days, then it went to 8 days. Two weeks later he told me he would call me when it was completed. After waiting a couple more days, I called him and the bag was repaired. I picked it up and he told me that he only gets $10 from the TravelPro to repair the bag and I think he was looking for me to pay him more for the repair. Any way he did a nice job repairing the handle but he is very unorganized. If you are not in a hurry, this is your guy. read more

Reviews are right. This place is dirty and the owners are very unfriendly. He will charge you and claim your damage he not under warranty. Go somewhere else or if a warranty place is too far and just pay for the repair somewhere else.
