The electrician examined the panel and told me he did not see a problem with it. During the visit, he suggested installing a whole-house surge protector as an additional precaution. I agreed to have one installed. My biggest concern was the $450 charge for the surge protector. I understand that the price was disclosed to me before I agreed to the installation, so I'm not claiming that the charge was hidden. My concern is that, after researching the specific Eaton unit that was installed, I found the equipment available elsewhere for substantially less than what I was charged. There was also a 3% credit-card fee that I was not told about until the work was finished and I was standing there ready to pay. I was then told I could avoid the fee by paying with a check. I would have expected that fee to be disclosed before I chose my method of payment. I contacted the company afterward about my concerns. To their credit, they initially offered $150 back and ultimately increased that to a $300 adjustment, which I received. I appreciate that they were willing to work with me and resolve the dispute. However, the combination of the equipment pricing and the undisclosed credit-card fee left me dissatisfied with the overall experience. My advice to other customers would be to ask for an itemized price and clarify any payment-processing fees before agreeing to additional work. The work itself was completed, and the company ultimately made a significant effort to resolve my concerns. But based on my experience, I would get another quote before agreeing to similar additional work.

I had the project bid by multiple companies. Winner's attitude, willingness to take on the project, and prompt follow up with a quote earned them the job. We had a scheduling mishap, but I won't take stars off for that. It was resolved quickly. I am super happy with the work completed. The electricians came out and worked most of the day in all areas of my home. They replaced breakers, outlets, switches, and resolved loose and unsafe wiring that was downstairs and in my garage. Winner answered my questions, and if something didn't seem right, they worked together to find the root cause of the issue rather than applying a workaround. I was so happy with the work completed, that I hired Winner back a second time, a couple weeks later, to complete the wiring to an outbuilding and reconfigure the wiring in my garage. That work was largely completed Friday - waiting on a part to finish up a couple aspects, but I'm happy with this work as well. I would use their services again, and I would recommend to others.

The communication was not. I received a shockingly high bill with additional charges that had not previously been discussed. In effect charged me almost $400 to install those 2 outlets just on the other side of the same wall. No attic, crawlspace, or panel work. I emailed them asking about the high fees and extra charges, she said that was standard for them. I paid the bill and then went to leave a review. I would not have had him do the outlets had I known, and would have ended the job with the pendent lights. When I left a review reflecting this experience, they accused me of trying to convince them to do work without a permit, putting their license in jeopardy. Completely false - I only questioned the permit fees when I received the bill, as no one had mentioned it. The level of customer service, lack of communication, and vindictiveness was shocking. Would not use them again because of this.
