Took 2 hours to get our delivery and when it got here it tasted as if it had been cooked 2 hours ago. Cold, soggy egg rolls which were served in sliced pieces in a bowl with sweet and sour sauce. Gross. I asked for duck sauce both times I've ordered and it never came either time. When calling to check on my order tonight I got hung up on and the next two times they refused to answer. Saw the ad in the Mint Magazine, so decided to try this new restaurant. Walking in was very pleasant as it was clean, simple and elegant. My partner and I were met immediately and offered a variety of seating options as it was not busy. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and took our drink order soon after we were seated. We both ordered wine and I surprised that the Cabernet was delivered chilled. The waitress did offer to replace it with room temp but I chose not to waste it and kept it. We were also provided with very tasty chips which had a sweet and salty taste to them. They were very good. My partner and I were both in the mood for chicken wing appetizers but they were not offered on the menu. That's OK, now I know. We also went with the Hibachi dinners which included a soup, salad and entrée. We both got hot & sour soup which was not as [temperature] hot as we would have hoped, but still excellent. The salad had a ginger dressing and was also excellent. My partner got the shrimp and I got the steak meals and both were excellent and served with tasty grilled veggies and a delicious fried rice. While this restaurant is still new and a couple of "kinks" need to be worked out, overall it was a very good experience and I am happy to have a new choice like this in the neighborhood. read more

Was throughly disappointed! We were so excited for a new place outside the neighborhood. Order pad Thai and man was it bland. The noodles stuck together and the flavor was so bad, I actually decided it was better to not eat then to keep trying to like it. Even the crab rangoons were clearly frozen pieces (and a cheap version at that). The entire meal was worse then disappointing. read more

I've only been here once. I'm not sure why I put off this review for so long.. it's probably been a year since this happened.. but I ordered some pork fried gyoza from here, along with some sushi and rice, but the gyoza is what ruined this place for me. I bit into one, and cut my mouth on a sharp piece of clear plastic the size of a quarter that was INSIDE the dumpling. I threw the rest of my food away. I spent almost $20 on one roll, a side of rice and dumplings.. just to throw it away. I will stick to my usual spots and never return here. read more

Went here for dinner with my sister and her kids. I ordered off the special menu and got 3 sushi rolls for $10.95. The rolls were a little small but had plenty of fish and were presented well. The rolls I had were a little bland and The spicy tuna was not very spicy. My sister had the hibachi chicken dinner and was pleased with it. It had a nice assortment of vegetables and came with fried rice. The kids menu is a little lacking with only 3 entree options. Overall everything was good but not spectacular. read more

Well, we figured out why it's called one third. We were missing 1/3 of our drinks and food, and the service was about 1/3 of what we expected. The food also was overpriced for what mediocre meals were served. The soup never came (apparently they were making a fresh pot at 7:15?!). The hibachi and sushi were nothing to write home about. Even the chefs specialty roll was lame and suspicious. It took 3 asks to get a couple waters. We tried it out but won't be going back. read more

Delicious! Went for dinner last night and loved it. Excellent sushi at a better price than other sushi places nearby. Beautiful space with a nice atmosphere. We love Asian food and were thrilled to have this restaurant open outside our subdivision. We went as a couple the first week it was open and it had the best ginger dressing I have ever had...so excited! The rest of the meal was terrible....bland, tasteless, poorly prepared! We decided to try again last week and no better. Now the ginger dressing is not as good... and how can you make tasteless fried rice? How can you make tasteless hibachi chicken? So disappointed... won't try again. Maybe chef should go eat at Daruma for comparison. read more

It is a really pretty restaurant, super friendly staff. The food is good. The Sushi is best eaten at the restaurant vs take out but it seems like they are a bit smaller sized Sushi Rolls than rolls I get elsewhere, but it is super fresh, Jack the owner is SUPER friendly!! This place is so good. Honestly some of the best sushi I have ever had. It's so refreshing to go to a sushi place that doesn't deep fry everything. All the food tastes supper fresh and you can really tell they dont take the cheap way out. Will definatly keep coming back. read more
