I was pretty sad when Giant NY Pizza went out of business at this location, but after trying One2Go Thai Kitchen, I'm feeling pretty good. My wife and I visited recently and here is what we noticed: - Great menu, including some more unusual dishes. We ordered the Chinese Sausage Fried Rice and the Chiangmai Curry Noodles...both were excellent. I also like the fact that there are four different sauces at the table. - We stayed and ate at the restaurant...and the service was really great, including regular refills of our water. The only downside is that the place is small and in the evening the sun can be pretty glaring, especially for people sitting at an outdoor table. And, the vibe isn't fancy at all...pretty much feels like a take-out place with some tables. Bottom line: We've found a great new place for Thai food...one we expect to be back to many times, especially for Friday night take out! read more

We were referred to this place by some friends. The service is really nice and quick. I accidentally messed up on my online order and they adjusted it for free. It gets really busy quick and they only have a small lobby so it's good to make sure you call your order in, in advanced because you don't want to be waiting around. When I went my 20 minute wait time took about 35 min but you could tell they were doing their best. We got the pad Thai which as great and not too sweet and also the panang beef. It's thicker cuts of beef than I'm used to but the sauce is super yummy. read more

My wife and I went to Thailand in March and had some really amazing dishes we weren't familiar with like Kao Soi ( I ended ended up eating it for lunch everyday). I would say it was more a 3.5 experience for the hubby and I. We ordered the drunken noodles with chicken, the pad thai with tofu, and laarb gai. The drunken noodles was the dish that stood out the most for me. Right away I could smell the Thai basil and I knew the taste was going to be good! The laarb gai was ok but I would have liked more herbs like mint for it to stand out in taste compare to other laarb I had. What was a little let down for me was the pad thai. It was just too light in flavor for me and the noodles were stuck together and were clumpy. Pad Thai is such a popular staple for Thai food so I was just a little surprised. This little Thai place is brand new. Cool interior decor. Simple and clean. Friendly cashier. It took about 15 minutes to get the dish - I am perfectly fine with that. Approximately between $11-$15 per dish. It's super small with few seatings available and I would say this is a "TO GO" place, hence their name! Duh! I choose #6 for my Drunken Noodles in spiciness and that was just perfect. I saw the chef through the curtain that she took sample using her kitchen tool and put it back into the pot. I also saw her licking her finger (she was wearing a purple plastic glove). Attention owner Either use a door (your curtain doesn't cut it) to cover up kitchen or proper train your staff of simple dos and don'ts. This is one of our favorite Thai food restaurants to order take out or home delivery. The other is Plumeria. Great vegetarian options and the mock duck is excellent. Can't go wrong with any of the noodle dishes and we have tried them all. The panang curry is excellent. They are also very good in accommodating those with dietary restrictions or allergies. I was curious to try this little place out. I usually don't do reviews but I was very disappointed. I picked up my dinner and got home to find my two very small fresh rolls were filled with just about all shredded carrot, a tiny bit of lettuce and two measly pieces of tofu. I also got the Tom yum soup which had good flavored authentic broth, however it was a very pathetic portion. 4 pieces of tofu and a few mushrooms floating in it. Skimpy portions. This is my go to Thai food. Always delicious and fast. My favs are yellow curry and drunken noodles with chicken. So yummy!

We were looking for a higher quality level of Thai food. The Yelp comments were mostly positive and that led us to go to the restaurant. Upon arrival we quickly this is a fast food Thai similar to something like Panda Express with Chinese food. There is no adjustment for heat levels or any special orders. No "family style" orders. There were a ton of teenagers inside ordering smoothies. If the above is what you are looking for, quick/cheap Thai food this may be a good spot and a reason for the Yelp rating. But if you are like us and want a higher quality level then this is NOT the Thai restaurant to go to. read more

There's not a ton of seating as this place's name suggests, but One2Go is definitely a decent option for Thai delivery or take out. I've done both options, and it's always been super fast, the service is friendly, and it's served up steaming hot. The food itself isn't changing the game as we know it but it's solid. Good pad thai and curry, but it's a few dollars more than some other spots in town that I like better. For convenience though, One2Go is at the top of the list in Encinitas in my book. Fast food quality Thai I ordered yellow curry with mock duck, spring rolls, and my boyfriend got pad Thai with mock duck. They forgot our spring rolls and I had to convince them we ordered them; when she checked the bill, we had in fact paid for them. Also, I ordered brown rice with my yellow curry and when I got home, I saw that I received white rice instead. The yellow curry broth was also too watery in my opinion but tasted ok. It was literally 80% carrot with pretty much scraps of everything else. There was so much carrot that it was spilling out of them. Stopped by here for a quick lunch with my coworker several weekends ago when we were in the Encinitas area. As the name suggests it's more of a takeout or casual restaurant. They had a couple of tables outside that they share with other restaurants in the plaza. They offer Thai favorite dishes in individual portions. I got the yellow chicken curry $11 with rice. BEST. THAI. FOOD. ALL. AROUND. No, I haven't been to Thailand... so when I want to say this food is authentic, I have no basis for this sentiment. What I do know is that it's different than all the other Thai food I've ever had. Their food here isn't overdone with sauces. It's not overly sweet. They are so clever with their herbs in food AND drinks, (that lemongrass drink... so clever!) I have to give it to them. We ordered drunken noodles (best Ive ever had), crab fried rice (surprised me with the realness of crab meat and how flavorful it was) and Chiangmai noodle, and Penang curry. Oh also the Thai sausage (the dipping sauce is to DIE for) and angel wings. Honestly one of the best meals I've had in my life. The owner topped off our meal with a mango and sweet rice order... he said he picked the mangoes in the market himself that day. It was absolutely delicious (the sweet rice had more of a porridge-y texture as opposed to the dry kind)! Their Chicken Noodle Soup was my favorite. I'm not sure if they have changed the cook, but when I tried it today, it didn't taste as it had used to be. They didn't allow dine-ins either, which would have been helpful to be told when ordering. For the price increase, I understand the inflation, but the dish, which is stated as "street-style" can't be $17 (used to be $12!). It is too much when you end up with a solid chunk of box-shaped noodles and soggy vegetables. The soup was quite bland too - it would have been nice to have condiments (chili flakes or prik nampla) included. It's unfortunate. read more
