Green chile Ramen - so good! Be sure to get the good stuff in the bottom!
    Mikhaila M.

Best ramen in abq! I love their food, everything we tried was fantastic. We had their green chile ramen, dumplings, ribs and noodles, kale salad, and even their Brussel sprouts. I don't normally go for Brussels sprouts but these were actually delicious. I wish they sat you right away but you order at the counter via counter service and then they seat you. It is a smallll place and I came Friday at 6 and it was a 20 minute wait to order then another 15 minute wait for our food. It was well worth it so just be aware if you go right at rush it might be a minute. The staff is friendly and nice and the space is cool with a beautiful mural on the wall and cute decor. My kids enjoyed the food too!

Holy cow what an amazing noodle house just steps away from my apartment! I love how intimate and cozy it is, perfect for a date night or just grabbing a beer with friends! It does get packed pretty quick and I would check their hours before going. They have a rotating menu of daily specials, nothing is short of amazing! We tried the red chile ribs with noodles and the spice level was perfect. I am an avid spice enthusiast so it's up to you what your heat level is, I would ask. We also tried their pot stickers and they were perfect for sharing! The service was friendly, prompt and professional. We sat at the bar and ordered some beers, they have local selections which most places do too, but totally worth it here! I had an Elevated IPA from La Cumbre Brewery. It was on draft and it was cold! I love when I stumble upon and unexpected treasure like Oni! #supportlocal

Whenever we are in town Oni is a place we always eat at! They have the best ramen!!!!! The service is fast, food made when you order it and is always so tasty! The restaurant has a laid back, warm feel to it and is always very clean. This is a place I highly recommend!

OMG, the pecan broth ramen is so so good. It's vegetarian and delicious and has a smoky, spicy, creamy, super flavorful broth and vegetables. It's very big and filling. My friend also loved her meat ramen. They also do very unique fusion appetizers and dish specials, like fried green tomato spicy bao. They also have interesting cocktails that staff design. The atmosphere is modern and clean. Not too exciting, but nice.

    Pork dumplings and shoyu ramen

We got the pork dumplings, shoyu ramen, and the brisket posole ramen and woahhhhh it was so tasty! The pork dumplings were our favorite but everything was delicious. Great atmosphere. Maiya at the front was the sweetest and gave great recommendations.

Coming from out of state, we overheard on our hot air balloon ride that NM was known for some good Japanese food. Say less! We found a place in a minute and started to chow down! High end Italian in Nebraska? Why not Japanese New Mexican fusion with local ingredients? Sometimes you find great food in unexpected places, and this was straight up delicious! I order the Shoyu Ramen at every establishment ramen is available, and honestly this was top 3 for me. I wish I could take it back with me to my home state! The Garlic Chili noodles also had great flavor and a decent level of spice! Classic cool ambiance, a smaller space with lofted ceilings. Order at the host stand before being seated. Tasty shareable sake.

Personal preference but it's order at the counter which isn't my favorite and the meat options are very limited if you're someone who doesn't eat pork. Bone marrow was fabulous touch and yummy in my noodles. Edamame was good -- Brussels have a strong lime taste some would say maybe too strong

Came to check this place out before a show at a nearby venue. It's a nice little place with some tables and a bar area. I loved the decorations. I was only looking for something light and was happy that they had a selection of small plates. There really were a lot of different options though. This is an order, get your number, and find a seat sort of place. Service was pretty quick. I got the kale salad and shiitake dumplings. I expected some amount of spicing on the food (chile oil, togarashi) but wow did both of these dishes have a kick. The items my friend ordered were similar. Perhaps the ramen isn't quite as spicy, I'll have to try that next time. Warning to folks that aren't big into spicy this is beyond flavorful and definitely into the spicy realm. The food itself is good, but the level of spicing was a bit unexpected. I will be back to try more things!

This little gem on Central Ave is our go to place on a cold weather day. As you go in you order at the counter, they have plenty of tables and a bar. I tried the green chile ramen, which had pork, veggies, chile and a poached egg. Nice heat level and lots of flavor/textures. A very comforting bowl of food served in a beautiful ceramic vessel. We also tried the steam buns, we ordered one of each variety. WOW! Mouthwatering! The hot green teas they offer are a perfect pairing too.

Ramen was not impressive. I also paid extra for corn to be added, it was not. Perhaps the overly-friendly, chatty person taking orders was more interested in conversations, than keeping the backed up line moving in the mostly vacant restaurant. You must order before you sit, which adds to the line length, since there are no menus before you sit. When my drink was dropped off, I received no eye contact after I thanked him. He was looking somewhere else entirely. When the bearded guy with the bandanna on his head dropped off my food he was looking somewhere else also when I thanked him and said no words. Seems like a hipster spot, if you enjoy inaccurate orders, impersonal service and inefficient, overly chatty host/cashier. My mistake for dinner choices has been documented.

SALTY !!! EXTREMELY SALTY?! I don't understand the raving reviews for Oni You are literally eating a salt bath... if I can give a 0 I will This should not be called ramen. I was so confused when the the ribs & noodles did not come with soup either - the ribs were sooo salty. The perosa ramen truly deserves a 0/5. I'm wondering if these dishes were not taste tested before serving because I never had anything like this before

It is not the biggest restaurant, and is popular, so I would recommend being prepared to wait during "popular busy time" but it is so worth the wait. So I also recommend waiting. The staff is always pretty friendly and accommodating. I shared an app, a roll and an order of salmon sashimi with a friend on both visits. The food is always fresh, and delicious! I never feel like I am being overcharged for what I get either. Going to eat for sushi can feel like that sometimes. The quality of the food is great and everything is always aesthetically pleasing as well. I had their avocado bomb on my last visit and I was delightfully surprised with it. I like avocado in most cases, but sometimes, it can be a lot at one. I thought this was going to be like that when I saw it, but I was wrong. I look forward to getting one of these on my next visit! On my last visit my friend and I saved room for a dessert, one that we saw rotating on their screens that they have in the restaurant showcasing some of the menu items. It was a take on a bananas foster. It looked delicious but alas, we'll see if we can manage to get it next time. Note to self, have dessert first on next visit?

This place was obviously using fresh ingredients. I'm sharing a copy of my bill so you can see that they itemize for things like the sauce/ ice cream bar as well as the cc fee. The pad Thai was deliciously spicy on its own accord, but the Thai chiles gave it the extra kick the hubby was hoping for. An additional chile paste gave it a bit of smokiness. The pineapple rice was slightly sweet, as expected. What surprised me was that it had raisins! I do not like raisins but the dish was so good and the raisins were such a muted ingredient that I did not mind it. Overall, this was a very nice and satisfying first visit at Tomi Sushi, getting us interested in trying more items in their menu.

It was so good last year that we actually had a conversation with the owner about them being from San Francisco, after I told him it was the best Chinese food I've had in America outside of San Francisco. Well, that has changed significantly, and not for the better. We made a trip down from Santa Fe this week, specifically to eat at Noodle Works. Yes, we drove over an hour each way on Monday just to eat here. What a mistake! It was clear the General Tzo chicken was microwaved and not fresh fried. It was absolutely inedible! Mall food court Chinese is better than this dish was. Strange because almost exactly 1 year ago their General Tzo's dish was among them best I've ever tasted. I know this dish is not authentic, but to serve pre-fried then microwaved chicken is inexcusable! The Singapore Noodle dish this time was incredibly dry. The curry was more like a dry rub stuck to the noodles than it was a real curry sauce. Again... mall food court quality. Another dish that used to be amazing here. The crab in the crab rangoon was so fishy you could smell it before it was even delivered to the table. It had clearly sat out unrefridgerated during prep for far too long. It was inedible, or of fear of getting food poisoning... they did take it off of our bill. We are so disappointed in how bad the quality has fallen off in the last year! We loved them so much in the past that we will give them one more try, but we will not be making a special trip down from Santa Fe to eat here again. We REALLY hope they get their act together because we really like the employees and owner and want to continue to support them. Management did apologize without being prompted for the slow service and poor quality food, so hopefully they know serious improvement is needed if they are to stay in business. We wish them the best because they are great people. Good luck!
