We had a big group of 25 people, which we made reservations for on a Monday night. We had a long table on the far right side of the restaurant. We had about half the group arrive and then waited another 20-30 minutes and the rest of the group arrived, then about 10-15 minutes after that the food started arriving. For those of us that got there on time for the reservation, it was a long time to wait for food. The food was good though, it was family style with lots of dishes. First, they started with appetizers, then got into main dishes by the time the last main dish got out we were all pretty full. Perfect amount of food. Disappointing from start to finish. Our food came out with long gaps between dishes, and our waitress was inattentive and even forgot to order some of our items. By the time the missing food arrived, we had already finished most of our meal. When we politely brought it up, the only solution offered was a free dessert. My daughter, granddaughter and myself went there today for lunch and was seated immediately. We noticed both wine glasses were dirty and stained with ladies lipstick. My silverware was dirty with food still on the fork and there was food smeared on the menu. I bought it to the attention on the greeter who seated us and his response was "that's not my area". He did replace the items with clean items. My daughter and I had to ask on the status of my granddaughter's food as we both had our food and she didn't. Overall, lunch wasn't great ! I'm not going to lie this was quite possibly the worst service we've ever gotten. I made a reservation for 12:45 on Mother's Day. Showed up 12:40 didn't get sat till 1:15 so what's the point of the reservation. Then we after we got sat we waited like 15 mins to have someone come actually help us. After we ordered drinks it took about 10 mins to get the drinks... my brother looked at me and said "bro I'm so thirsty right now I'm not even hungry anymore". After our waitress got back we just said eff it put in the order for food now or else we're never gonna get anything. We got the edamame and brussels sprouts as appetizers and we also ordered our food. It took another 25 mins to get our appetizers and when we finally got our food they brought the plates out they only brought out 3 then like 5 mins later the other two plates. so some of us were eating off other people plates cause the food came out so dispersed. Finally, when we were getting ready to pay, we had some leftover food because the plates were brought out so far apart. When we asked for boxes, the waitress boxed everything for us and instead of using multiple boxes, she threw the shrimp with the chicken together...... WHY TF WOULD YOU MIX FOODS. I must admit I was a little disappointed Sushi was cooked not sushi, and salmon was smoked taste good but it was too little, there's was little fish. The beef dish was good, tender and you can see from the video juices running . Calamari could of been crisper but thats my option. My son ordered miso salmon which he said was ok, he orders that whenever available, that's usually his fave dish. Service was good. Ambiance was nice got a little busy towards the departure. P. F. Chang's used to be one of my least favorite spots but has slowly been growing on me this year. The main reason I've been coming back to P. F. Chang's is because they have a really good rewards system. They often award various discounts and even PF Chang's cash that you can redeem without a minimum purchase. Although I've been mostly doing takeout inside is really big with lots of seats. It's also clean and the staff is always friendly when i go. They often times even add me extras like a side of rice for free. This previous time i had 2 rewards that i was even able to use on the same day. I ordered the Singapore noodles and shrimp dumplings. I will say the noodles were just okay and nothing like authentic Singapore noodles but it was a huge portion and easily shareable . The shrimp dumpling's were pretty good and the chili oil that came on the side was delicious. I do recommend trying PF Chang's or at least signing up for the rewards cause they are offering lots of good deals. read more

Chang's was still around as all of the one I'm familiar with in Northern California has closed down. Which was about 10 years ago or so, so I haven't been to this establishment in at least at leather long. It was pretty quiet when we arrived on the Friday eve that we did, and we're sat at a table for 4 which was kinda small for our party. Eventually we ordered the following: Appetizers: Fried Pork Dumplings Chang's Lettuce wraps Main courses: Dynamite roll Chang's Spicy Chicken entree Orange Chicken entree Food was good and my favorites were the fried pork dumplings and the Chang Lettuce wraps. The lettuce wraps was the dish I missed the most from them closing back home. My only complaint waa the seating, as our table was way too small for a party of 4. We noted it when we actually sat down, as it seemed small before we even got out food. But once you added 4 separate entrée's and 2 appetizers, there literally was barely any room for everything. So that was a but annoying. I think it would've made more sense to have put us in a larger booth and or at a booth where you could combine two smaller tables. Really good date night and impromptu dinner. It was an empty restaurant which was nice...our server, Mindy, was really great tonight! She was by herself and had a few tables that she handled very well. She was knowledgeable and thorough when explaining things. Our drinks were never empty and she checked on us regularly. First time at this location. Ambiance was exactly what im always looking for low lit, calm music and not crowded. Given it was a wednesday there weren't very many people inside. Took some time to get seated but once we were seated we were greeted. Our server informed us she was training but she did great. Friendly, nice, smiling and attentive. She went over the specials. Which was $20pp. It comes with got two starters soup or salad,a shareable appetizer and entree. Everything was delicious!. My husband had sesame chicken and I got chicken low mein. I haven't been to PF Chang's in years, we were supposed to eat at Cheesecake Factory but the line was about an hour long. I remember Pf Changs being pretty good but I know a lot of people don't really favor it. However, my overall experience was really good. I told the staff that I had a nut allergy and they brought me out this printout of foods from their menu that is safe for me to eat. To me, that safety practice means the most because they care about their customers. Once I ordered, they made to place my food on a red plate to identify that it is nut free. So my best friend birthday is today and she picked to come here. According to Yelp, I haven't been here for eight years. I don't know what happened. We were a big fan for a while but either way tonight it was pretty amazing. First, we came to the bar and enjoyed happy hour. I like that it goes till 6 PM. The prices aren't that great the drink specials and the food is like a dollar off but it's still a deal or a discount. Then we got our table and Freddie was our waiter and he was really great! He was very sweet to the birthday girl and he brought both of us desserts for our birthday. I didn't even have to show my PF Chang's membership to get it so I joked with her that we should definitely come back because we both had free edamame and a free dessert. If we each order one, we're paying $30 bucks for $5 worth of food. There's so little cost to the restaurant for this dish, Come On. My husband and I went yesterday (Valentines) @ 4. We had a reservation and they sat us immediately, which was so nice. We got the 5 course meal that was offered. The server was great, no issues. Wish I remembered her name. She did inform as that the kitchen is very backed up, which was understandable. However, nothing came out when it should. Things were beyond delayed. We got there at 3:55, we ordered around 4:20 ish, first app (chefs pick) came out around 4:55. Then it was supposed to be soup, appetizer , main dishes and then dessert. I was looking around and a lot of people got their food at random times too. After the chefs pick it took about another 30 mins to get more food. The main courses were the Black and pepper steak and the salmon. Both were very good, Black and Pepper steak though BOMB!!! would go back for that. After the main course we finally got the soup and the app which was lobster dumplings. My husband got the hot and sour soup, it was pretty good. I got the soup with dumplings. My husband asked how it was, I explained it and he said that doesn't make since. However, I let him try it and he agreed. It tasted like how a wet can of cat food smells. It was so weird!!! The lobster dumplings had a bad texture, but I'm a texture person. My husband thought they were ok, but way too much butter, which i though I would never say. The last thing was the Butter cake. By the time everything was done and we were waiting on dessert we were there for an hour and a half. I felt so bad that had later reservations or walking in. The kitchen was so backed up, I could only imagine how long people were waiting for food after we left. I asked the waitress if she could bag up dessert. PF Chang's buildings are always dramatic and big. I know some locations - likely most locations, are considered the fanciest restaurant in a big busy city but this is a chain and they are not winning any food awards. The food has some strengths and weaknesses. Strengths: It's consistent. Orange chicken in any of the 300 locations tastes exactly the same and is exactly the same in portion size as well. They do cut fresh veggies for the salads and entrees, but the sauces are not all real ingredients. They overly sweet. The hot tea is superb. The black pepper on the table is in beautiful shakers but is too big to barely come out of the shaker. The drinks are almost all un-priced and too much. They're all around $5 and more. The staff is nice and warm and inviting but looks like they under staff. I tried the seasonal lobster dumplings - the butter sauce is weird. I didn't like them. Not very lobstery. It needs heat or vinegar. And the salmon on my salad was cooked way way too long. It was hard to eat. They have a birthday club. What a fantastic lunch experience at P.F. Chang's today! My mom, my brother, and I came in for lunch and left smiling. From the moment we arrived, Savannah made us feel welcome with her friendly greeting and positive attitude. Our server, Freddie, was absolutely excellent--attentive, personable, and on top of every detail without ever making us feel rushed. Camira, who brought our food to the table, was equally friendly and professional. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We love coming to PF Chang's. The food is always flavorful and they always have plenty of brew selections to choose from. The servers are always very friendly and have great recommendations. They are very helpful with accommodation any food allergy issues as well. The dining area is clean and relaxing and we always enjoy ourselves there. We are a bit sad though to see the prices continue to increase and the portions continue to go down. Also we miss the table side sauce mixing for the lettuce wraps. Also the lettuce is much smaller now and you get alot less. Overall though we will still come here but fewer times per year and we will just forgo the appetizers in the future. read more

Went to P.F. Chang's Riverside last Saturday around 4 pm with my fiancé. We sat at the bar. He ordered a Sapporo and I had plum wine, which paired really nicely with my food. For dinner, my fiancé had the Kung Pao Chicken -- he really enjoyed it! Flavorful and well-cooked, though he expected it to be spicier considering the hot chilies (no way I could even try it, haha). I had the Chicken Lettuce Wraps, which were absolutely delicious. Perfectly seasoned, and the contrast of the warm filling with the freshness and crunch of the lettuce was so refreshing. Even better with the plum wine! Service was okay overall. One odd moment: when a second bartender started his shift, he kind of got dressed right there in plain view -- not exactly something you expect at a restaurant. That aside, everything else was good. We have been coming here since they opened. Used to be one of the best places around. We would get to go from here all the time and it was still good. Maybe it's been 3 years since we have been here and couldn't remember why we stopped going. I don't know what has happened but there has been a big change in ownership, corporate or something. I spent my youth as a cook in NYC and this honey walnut shrimp tastes like frozen and battered shrimp from Stator Bro and thrown in to the deep frier. No walnuts, very bland and rubbery where they seemed off or undercooked. Hot n Sour Soup was like thick brown broth, not much else in it. Fried rice flavorless oily and shrimp in the rice tasted like it wasn't cleaned. String Beans tasted great and the same as always. Water was good too. Only saving grace is the hostess and waitress were absolutely awesome and very nice. They only had us pay for the string beans since we hardly ate the rest and they were the best part anyway. Whoever bought or took over this restaurant or the chain wake up! You changed recipes on the best dishes. You are totally empty at 7:30 on a Thursday in a busy area? That's a sign. P.F. Chang's is located in a busy shopping plaza and mall, Tyler Galleria, just off the 91 in the south of Riverside. Upon entry, you're greeted by a dark yet elegant space with the hostess stand in the middle, seating on either side, and elevated booths in the back, creating a cozy atmosphere. I came during their newly launched All Day Every Day Specials, which replaced their former happy hour deals, available exclusively at the bar. Appetizers are $10, and select drinks (beer, wine, and two cocktails) are $5. I tried the Pink Lotus Cosmo (Ketel One Citroen Vodka, orange curaçao, cranberry, lychee, lime) and the Zen Margarita (Blanco tequila, lime, pure cane sugar with a Cointreau float). Both were pre-mixed but then shaken with ice by the bartender. The Pink Lotus Cosmo was quite sweet, while the Zen Margarita was more balanced, though I didn't notice much of the Cointreau float. For $5, they were more than decent. For food, I had the signature Chang's Lettuce Wraps with Chicken and the Crab Wontons with spicy plum sauce. I also asked for their complementary Ring of Fire hot sauce, which is like an elevated version of Sambal Oelek with roasted chilies--medium spice, but a bit salty and quite sweet. The plum sauce with the wontons was tangy and enjoyable, but the wontons themselves were mostly dough with very little filling. Similarly, the chicken lettuce wraps were tasty at first but overwhelmingly sweet after a few bites. Overall, I found the food enjoyable, but it could have benefited from less sweetness. The main drawback at this P.F. Chang's location is the service. It can be hit or miss--sometimes the staff doesn't seem overly motivated or engaged, which detracts from the overall experience. That said, I do recommend their bar area for a relaxed drink, especially with the new specials that offer decent value. read more

This used to be our date nights after work. We would come for the happy hour and enjoyed all of the appetizer options for half off. It was pretty empty at the time of our arrival with maybe four other tables dining. Still the unkept table next to us sat for a long while before it was tended to and the other table needed some iPads for "indoor voices" entertainment. I would have appreciated the option to choose where we wanted to sit given it was so empty. Upon recently returning times have changed. The happy hour menu was very limited and portions were definitely noticeable. They used to do the hot sauce presentation but that has long been gone for years. And this particular location doesn't do the whole spectacular birthday special. So if you've been to the rancho location don't expect the same experience here. Though service was absolutely wonderful, served in a timely manner, dinks and food were good, I don't know if I'll be rushing to come back. PF Chang's is always good. It is a well known chain. They tend to have good availability and not too long of a wait. My go to dishes are: Chicken lettuce wraps Lo mein Crispy honey chicken King Paso chicken Mongolian beef Banana spring rolls Everyone I have brought here loves the food. The chicken lettuce wraps are quite unique. They give you a nice portion of lettuce to eat with the chicken mixture. You can ask for more lettuce if needed. The lo mein is super tasty. You can order it with chicken, beef, shrimp, or a combination of. Everyone seems to love this dish. The crispy honey chicken is quite light. It is tastier than the spicy orange chicken. I do not like the orange chicken here, but if you like spicy, I suggest to try it. The crispy honey chicken has no spice, and it is a tad sweet and crispy. The kung pao chicken is quite tasty. You have to like hot/spicy to enjoy it. I will say I do not like the kung pao shrimp. It tasted weird. My favorite is the Mongolian beef. It is a sweet beef plate packed with flavor. They make the banana spring rolls quite well. They offer it with tasty ice cream and fruit. I've been coming here for years. Me and my daughter came here for lunch and were SO disappointed about this experience.. First, the only good thing abt this experience was the fact that we got seated VERY fast.
