Jose from Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning came out and I know he faced a daunting task! He was at our home for 3 hours and 45 minutes working steadily to accomplish the cleaning...and WOW was I impressed!!! When he was finished he showed me before and after pictures of each and every vent he cleaned, and in addition to horrific amounts of disgusting, thick gray dust, I actually recognized a lot of things that had gotten lost over the years by falling into the registers! The first company said they used a "100% biobased disinfectant technology approved by the USDA," but when I inquired what the technology was they didn't explain. The second offered an add-on service, but when I asked about why I'd need it, they admitted I didn't. They also came in hundreds of dollars about the third company--Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning. I liked Lowe's flat rate: no surprises! I liked the service even better. The technician arrived on time. He took off his shoes in the house and was respectful of our things. He worked diligently for about seven hours to clean our dryer vent and the ducts for our three HVAC systems. He showed me before and after pictures that I could identify as ours because I'd found the same pet food kibbles elsewhere in the house from the former owner. Randy was very professional, courteous, and very flexible with my time request. Once he arrived, him and Nate were very polite and patient working around my kids and pets. Every time I asked a question while they worked they would give me their undivided attention.
