The chips were the star if that says anything. Buffalo wings were actually okay. The veggies were dirty, dry and pissed me off too. There was a curly hair underneath one of the carrots. Need I say more? Onion rings. How do you mess these up? These come frozen and all you have to do is deep fry them? Oh no, turns out you can. These came out extra crispy. Like hard a a rock extra crispy. You also only get like 6 so after we each tried one or two to confirm how bad they were, they were gone. The main we tried was the steak frites. Okay at this point I was just sending thoughts and prayers. Steak was fatty and chewy on both ends but the 5 middle slices weren't that bad. Also well seasoned along with the seasoned fries. Not the worst. Drinks were good but you can't really mess up wine and beer. Service was also good. Even though she warned us she was new she did a fantastic job checking in on us and making sure we felt cared for. Now why didn't we say anything on the spot? Well, combined with the fact that our waitress seemed too sweet to have to deal with complaints and we were hungry and tired and just wanted to enjoy the evening before heading home, it didn't seem like it would accomplish much. Also, Extra food if refired would've been too much food. And honestly, we shouldn't even have to brings these issues up. Standards.

Dr. Schaefer is incredibly knowledgeable, gentle, and refreshingly honest. I came in expecting to receive around 40 units or more based on past experience, but she ended up doing just 25. I could tell she knew exactly what was best, even without overexplaining. That kind of integrity is rare. Most providers would have taken the higher number without question, but Dr. Schaefer clearly prioritizes a natural, beautiful result and not overselling. The entire experience felt ethical, calming, and tailored to me. I left this appointment confident that I got exactly what I needed and nothing I didn't. I'm also glad she went the minimal route this time, and if I feel like I need more in two weeks, I can always come back. I'd much rather have that than be over-injected the way I have been in the past. I'm so grateful I found her, and I won't be going anywhere else. Highly recommend, especially if you want results that are elegant, authentic, and delivered with care.

1.they are not the cheapest as they advertise . Look around at other places and get on mailing…read morelist. Other places offer price match. I have found neurotoxins (Botox-letybo- Juneau) as low as $6 and daxify $7, from very good businesses. And 3 syringe fillers $660. The sales are out there!!! 2. They have you place lidocaine on a popsicles stick so you can put on yourself either in the waiting room or the bathroom/ how turn and burn is that? You'd think with HIPPA they would give you some privacy and anonymity. 3. Roughly 2 years ago give or take, they went through a number of nursing and support staff, they gave me double the amount of GLp that I was being prescribed. I know this for a fact as I am fully aware (now) of dosing and measurements. I was scarred at the injection site, had huge side effects and they took no accountability; rather they blamed me. (Use IVIM or HERS) When I asked the first time they told me I didn't understand how they added b-12 and other things to the formula so the dosage was always different -nope!!! They had to many staff in and out. And they completely dropped the ball between pass offs from the person who checked with me, the second nurse who gave me the vials, then the dad who had me pay- all in the same room with glass case and the payment desk. 4. When addressing the 2 scars they did 2 microneedling sessions (about 10 minutes) and amber thought 2 -3 more would probably take care of it, but wanted me to pay for the sessions out of pocket. Even though I was an established client for various treatments. And it was their inattention to detail that cause me to scar at injection site All in- I think I gave them close to 8k. Had my cousins and my mom go there because I thought (at the time) they were well priced and seemed like decent Christian people. Now I think they are all about money; and to use a restaurant phrase "turn and burn" . I think they get clients in and out, rushed through- with little care or concern- because the entire family takes a salary, mom -dad-daughter and son in law. Now I am aware there are many other great med spas that offer similar or even better values. You don't numb yourself, and they give you time-detail- and even "free touch ups"; not to mention time to discuss concerns or how to move forward feasibly with a budget in mind I hope others had a good experience, this review is very late because I was waiting for a family member to finish their pre paid banked units. Dr. Schaefer is very personable and she's very nice when in the chair, but the business model and the way they treat their good customers who have valid complaints or issues are just horrid! I now go to Sakura Aesthethis and they are much much better

This small storefront is located near Koko Head Trail, so we stopped by after a pretty intense hike. There is a variety of sizes and lots of flavors to choose from. I personally got the cotton candy and lychee, and it was a perfect balance. The shaved ice was soft and flavorful without being overly sweet or sticky, and a small was the perfect size. The worker was also very nice and patient with our large group. To our surprise, we also learned that Obama had visited this place and that his favorite flavors were lime and cherry. I can confirm those flavors are also very good.

It isn't the best shave ice on the islands, that still belongs to Matsumoto's for me, but it's good enough that I keep coming back. I'd put it right up there with Waiola. The shave ice is soft, the flavors are great and sitting by the marina afterward has become part of the ritual. The celebrity wall with photos of President Obama, Ben Affleck and countless others tells you this place has been around for a reason. Unfortunately, so has the service. Every trip seems to remind me why I've hesitated to write this review. This time we visited four separate times and every visit felt strangely uncomfortable. We waited patiently with our kids for close to twenty five minutes before anyone even took our order. The employee was busy making shave ice which is understandable but there's no system explaining what comes next. Do you wait inside? Outside? Will they call your name? Is there a speaker? A screen? You're left awkwardly standing around hoping you don't lose your place. Nobody was rude to us outright. It just felt like everyone working there would rather be somewhere else. While waiting, I started noticing things I wish I hadn't. The refrigerators, vents and equipment all looked like they could use a deep cleaning. Maybe everything is perfectly sanitary behind the scenes, but perception matters when someone is preparing food right in front of you. Instead of looking forward to dessert, I found myself wondering how often everything gets cleaned. The frustrating part is that once you finally get your shave ice, it's really good. That's what makes this review difficult. I genuinely like this place. I have decades of memories here. I'll probably end up back here again on another trip to Hawaii. But great food only carries a place so far. Hospitality matters just as much, especially somewhere that's become a tradition for so many families. I really want to give Kokonuts four or even five stars. Instead, I'm leaving three because after thirty years, I'm still hoping someone behind the counter will make the experience feel as welcoming as the dessert.
