Great local pizza place with very friendly staff. I was in the area and wanted a good lunch deal and they fit the bill. They run daily lunch specials until 4PM. I ordered the One Slice of Pizza and Salad Bar for $14.99. I thought that one slice of pizza would not be enough for me but I was wrong. The pizza slice was ginormous! The Salad Bar was legit too! They had three types of lettuce, spinach, broccoli florets, bell peppers and just about anything else that you would want on a salad. They keep it all very fresh too! They also had several dressing choices including a homemade Italian and a Garlic Vinaigrette. I went with the Garlic Vinaigrette and it was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining! The garlic bread was hot, soft and very cheesy! (Delicious!) The Thai chili wing appetizer was excellent..., good size wings, mild heat and a yummy sauce. The appetizer I most want to boast about was the mussels! They were the best mussel appetizer I've yet to try.... Loaded with whatever makes them moist and delicious... We then had the bbq chicken Hawaiian pizza and that too was delicious. Happy to be near THIS particular OPS! For starters, their salad bar is fresh just about every time I've been in there. They have a couple options for my way of eating-- the cheater way-- gluten free piZza which isn't exactly in my diet but is better than the regular crust, and the better way-- cauliflower crust which taste really decent. But I don't like paying 23.00 for a small pizza just for myself when I get a family special for 4 dollars more. Cauliflower just isn't that expensive. This is why I give 4 stars. It's the way I have to eat for health reasons and I've been from Texas to California and back across and this is one of the most expensive cauliflower crusted pizzas I've had. Pro--The toppings I've tried are always delicious. Speaking of that family special, when grandkids are in town, it hit the spot a couple times! They don't love all pizza but when the piping hot pepperoni pizza was opened up by the pool, my little 2, 3.5, and 5.5 year old grands all ate one giant slice, at least. I placed an order on line using the preferred app slice. I got there during the time it was supposed to be ready but had to wait an additional 25 minutes. Two subs one was correct the other was not. Loved this place had the meat lovers pizza and it was wonderful. They also have a salad bar if you would prefer a lighter side. We started our reunion their last night and they had to ask us to leave so they could go home. Very professional staff and courteous. Such great customer service!! After painting the house all day, I got super lazy with dinner and decided to just order delivery. It came in record timing, we opened the boxes and I'm 7 year old freaked out because her cheese pizza wasn't here. Y'all! Before I could even call, they called me, noticing that they didn't send it!! I've been going to Ops ever since I was in high school. I really love their chicken fettuccine alfredo and I can eat their garlic bread all day. This past time I came with my boyfriend and our visit wasn't as great as usual. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs, the plate that came out was spaghetti with marinara sauce. Also our garlic bread was really cold. The server took our plate back and came back with meatballs. The meatballs are as delicious as ever, so I'm glad that hasn't changed. Ordered a large pizza with sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms. Got the pizza and it did have the 3 items plus onions! Well I am allergic to onions so I couldn't eat it. The husband however ate half. When I called to let them know I was told to bring back the whole pizza and they would remake it. Well that wasn't going to work as I was told that there are onions in the pizza sauce! Now we have been ordering the same pizza for the past 5 years with no problems! Who puts onions in pizza sauce???? read more

So, as many times as I have been told it's great I was giving this place the benefit of a doubt. BAD MOVE!! My children got Pepperoni pizza that tasted like chewy cardboard with canned tomato juice and barely melted cheese. Chicken parmigiana...frozen, tasteless, and inedible. My wife had a calzone that she said was "adequate". I truly believe that this place is adored by people who have never had authentic Italian food. Ops will continue to get good revenue, with horrible food and bad service. In my last review of OPS pizza, I referred to the second location which I just had a chance to experience. Although not as large, or with the oversized parking available at the Kingsland location they have a very ambient atmosphere which also serves beer and wine as well as a locally crafted beer selection. The customer service is first rate yet pick up orders are quite abundant, most likely due to the recent remodel of the location by the new management. There is a single TV inside for consumers and minimal seating outside for those cool days or when one desires fresh outdoors while partaking in the fresh hand made entres such as the stromboli or one of the scampi dinners which are one of the best ever eaten by this Yelper. I have learned of another location in Fernandina Beach, Fl which I will be visiting in the near future. To anyone who enjoys the itallian and meditarian palate, OPS is a must try. A very clean and tidy place to dine. Here'S to you. Enjoy! One tip is to ensure your pick up order is ordered at least an hour before pick up. Now and again it could be 1.5 hours before your order is ready. One wait I am happy to endure for such fine eating. read more

I sort of feel bad giving them a 3 out of 5 because we were there with a large group so it was expected to be slower. They only had one waitress working for us and that's a part of my rating. Not for HER but the fact that they should have planned for her to have help because it wasn't really fair to her. This was a pre-booked party so they were definitely aware. Unfortunately because she was alone it was very slow and that could have been helped. We didn't get our drinks for awhile (my family specifically), and our food was literally the last to come out and people were almost done eating. Aside from that part, the food was so/so. I got the thin crust pizza and it was cold. It wasn't amazing. The fried pickles were good though. It wasnt awful but we won't go back most likely. I want nothing more than to give this place more than 2 stars, but I just cannot. I have gotten food from there now 3 times. The food is great, but the service and attentiveness of the staff is horrible. The first time, I ordered take out. I placed my order over the phone and they told me it would be about 30 minutes. I got there 30 minutes later to learn that my order was not done and then learned that the reason why it was not done was because they actually had dropped my pizza. I waited another 20 minutes. The second time, I ordered for delivery and was told it would be 45 minutes. I had to repeat my order 6 times to 3 different people. They kept putting my on hold and having me start over. I received my food an hour and a half after I placed my order. The delivery guy said he got lost. I would have believed that if I didn't live on the same road that this place is located. The third time I placed a take out order, and yet again had to repeat my order multiple times to multiple people. I was told 25 minutes, but I didn't arrive until 35 minutes later because i knew I would have to wait anyways. When I got there, I was initially acknowledged, and then ignored. Finally, I was able to tell them I was here for a pick up and they claimed to have never received the order. Seriously??? Finally, they found my order, I paid and left. I really don't know if I will be back. The food is good, but the shit I have to go through to get it is just not worth it! read more

The cooks are probably what threw me off this place. I made a yelp account specifically for this purpose. I went awhile back and ordered traditional wings and they were way over cooked. To the point it was to tough to even chew. Well....we went back today for mothers day and...i ordered them again. I love wings and figured it just a bad batch last time, but nope. These were so over cooked the bone was crumbling. God awful. My wife ordered a pasta dish [it was pretty much just penne and chunky ragu.] and there was so much sauce on top she had to request another plate to put the excess. Service was ok, our waitress did serve my son jalapeno slices instead of the pepperoni we requested, but other than that, it was ok. I honestly have a chief complaint to whats going on in the kitchen. Idk what the deal is, but no, u want a good italian pizza spot....get on the highway and go to somewhere else. read more

Please refer to Video submitted! Ordered pesto cream penne pasta (first item on the pasta side). The description said it came with sun dried tomatoes. I imagined the tomatoes would be rehydrated. I received a bunch of dehydrated tomatoes on top of the pasta. Even the guy who delivered the food to the table asked what I ordered and said he's never seen it before. . . Who puts dehydrated food on top of pasta? Even the recipe I looked up online stated to put the sun dried tomatoes in sauce (and cook it) to soften it. When the plate first came to the table it looked like someone threw flaming hot cheetos on my pasta...... and the dehydrated tomatoes were the same texture as eating the strawberries right out of the special K box. Not a pleasant dish. First time at OPS and overall it looks like the business is failing. It was "pasta monday" and our waitress had no idea what pasta was included. Menu is overwhelming, way to many items on it. Also there was a random bingo event going on while we dined. (Weird) another sign of a failing business. It's loud, but the food is decent. Great tasting with fast service. The delivery takes about 6 months to get to your house, though. I'm usually ordering the BLT pizza. I would order the fried chicken sub, but it only comes with red sauce. If you order it sans red sauce, you can see where they scraped it off. I was really disappointed with the quality of their pizza today. Normally we go to OPs to get a treat of a superb pizza even though their prices are about 50% higher than the large chain resturaunts. We ordered a large supreme pizza and the toppings were runny and irregular, most notably a large mass of black olives on one slice and a noticeable lack of other toppings on most slices. When brought to management attention, she offered apologies and a 10% discount on our bill which she failed to do at checkout. Seems to have lots of turnover and a lack of experience in cooking staff. read more

I called in for a pick up order of a caprese sub and onion rings and was greeted with "ya?" to begin with. Unprofessional....I asked how long for an order for pickup and she said 30-45 minutes...ummm ok. So I sent my husband out for everything. I just called an hour, yes an hour later and he was still waiting on the onion rings! It wasn't even a delivery order. It seems crazy to me. I normally love this place, but y'all let me down tonight. Walked in, sat down and listened to an argument between the waitress and one of the kitchen staff for about 5 minutes before we got our menus. She was about 10 steps away from us so it was quite awkward. Our first time here so maybe that's how it usually is.... The table we sat at was extremely sticky too. Ordered the chicken calzone and it was delicious. Ate the whole thing. Friends had other calzones and strombolis and their plates were empty. This is literally the only place I order from in town (outside of other pizza spots, delivery is few in the area). I don't remember ever having a problem with this location, delivery or eat-in.
