We love Olivia!! I've been a patient of Dr Levine for a few years. She is super friendly and kind and has helped me find the best contacts for my changing eyes. When my 5 year old daughter's preschool teacher recommended getting her eyes checked, I knew exactly where to go. I called and they were able to squeeze me in that day. Sure enough, my daughter needed glasses! The process of getting glasses for a 5 year old can be stressful, but the employees at Optic gallery did everything they could to help and make it easy. Everyone that works at Optic Gallery is really welcoming and friendly, but Olivia really stands out for us. She helped us fit my daughter's glasses (it took a few times to get it right), but she was patient and understanding all along. She remembered my daughter's name whenever we came in, and she made her feel special. She also helped us when we needed to use the warranty on the glasses and replace the her broken frames and scratched lenses (5 year olds are rough on glasses)! Olivia went out of her way to update me on the progress of getting the new ones in stock, and since they were back ordered, she even offered a different pair while we waited for my daughter's new ones to arrive. I was so impressed!! When we picked up her new glasses today, my daughter hugged Olivia!! I did too!! I had GREAT service here.They were very efficient and courteous no waiting at all.The receptionist let me complete my med info online she had a cool pad where you sign your forms and it wipes off. Super Covid free they take your temp. And make sure you got your mask on. The lady with the Burberry nails. made sure she sanitized the equipment too,I forgot her name Dr. Lavine was excellent . Very young, cool, kind and professional .She was very patient with the eye exam thorough. Especially the part with those slides where they go #1 or #2. #4 or#3. I've been coming here for years and usually see Dr. Levine. She's a wonderful doctor and very friendly and positive. Today I saw Dr. Valdez and she was sweet too somehow making a "doctor" experience not a scary thing like some doctor offices. My optician was Olivia and she's recommended. She will do a little dance when she likes your glasses and will be honest when choosing glasses. She also has good taste so she was the perfect optician to help me with my choices. Every single person at the Optic Gallery on village walk drive in Henderson NV was completely amazing!! They were all so kind and engaging. They were patient and helpful as I tried on so many frames. They were all excited when I found the ones I loved. I ordered 2 pairs of glasses and they were ready in about a week. When I picked them up they adjusted my glasses to fit perfectly without sliding down . They are so comfortable and the prescription is perfect. Solid spot. Everyone who works here is extremely friendly. There are 4 staff members who regularly help Eric R. and I and know us when we come in. He and I have both gone to doctors here for eye exams. My doctor is Dr. Lee, and she is great. Eric went to a guy, and he liked the experience too. We have both purchased glasses from here. I got Oakley sunglasses after living 4 years in the desert without any...and my husband got them for me as a present. The store matched amazon.com's price immediately so we saved some $. Now I can't live without them. I reacted to the plastic when wearing them a lot so there was an easy solution for me: silicone nosepads (2 sets for $3). They have been great ever since, for almost a year (I have washed them and changed them out by now, I promise!) Eric R. is an Oakley loyalist. He got a pair of prescription glasses called Capacitors (engineering nerd excitement) so he had hoped they would create a pair of sunglasses called Inductors but not yet! He was recently looking for new sunglasses when we were invited to a little "party" or "soiree" with wine and nibbles at the Optic Gallery. Everything in the store (frames) was 20% off if one purchased at the event. An Oakley rep was there to answer questions. Eric R. originally wanted the glasses where you can clip in and out 2 different lenses so he could have regular and sun lenses in prescription if he rode his bicycle into the sunset. However, the clipping mechanism was complicated and would likely make him get fingerprints all over the lenses anyway. He ended up getting a new version of his old pair with slightly larger lenses and mirrored coating. The Optic Gallery staff felt badly about the cost of Oakley lenses (they had to go Oakley's lab instead of our insurance company's lab because of the specialty product) so they gave Eric 20% off of the lenses and the frames, which was totally cool. We really like the service and the products here, and would recommend it to anyone who needs an eye exam or a pair of glasses. Also, Eric's old sunglasses lost their nose pieces quite regularly, and the staff always put on new ones for him for free whenever this happened. read more

Was in 2/29 for annual exam. I have a $10/copay. Since my eye plan only covers lenses this year, I called days prior to my appointment and asked if I could do an exam for contacts instead. Not a problem-tell us when you arrive. So I did. It's been 25 years since I've worn them so Dr Cheung inserted them for me. Another girl spent maybe 5 minutes with me taking them out & having me put them back in. No big deal. Until I was asked to pay $75 for a "fitting." I'm not sure WHAT I experienced last night actually constitutes a fitting but if THAT was it, I was ripped off. That was NOT worth $75. Yeah, I'm pretty bent on paying $75 I was never told in advance I would be required to pay. Because I would not have gone this route had I been told about this fee before I was asked to pay it. They were extremely happy to accommodate my request for contacts. I'm not cheap. I'm not a penny pincher. I work darn hard for my money & if I have to part with it, these medical providers better tell me in advance about a fee I never knew about until AFTER the fact, especially if my insurance doesn't cover it. So I was told. I'm not sure how to handle this just yet. Especially since I have to go back next week. I suspect they'll have some excuse and I will end up having to dispute it with Visa & file a formal complaint with my insurance company. Compared to last year, this eye exam was less than thorough. Dr Cheung was extremely nice but I have concerns about my prescription not changing given the changes I've experienced the last 6 months. Last year I had to use the lenses in trays that I held up to each eye to get an accurate read and this year the gizmo in the room was relied on. read more

After a terrible experience at Dr. Grant's office, I turned to my good buddy for recommendation. He highly recommended Dr. Nguyen at Optic Gallery, because Dr. Nguyen is a wonderful doctor, and the staff is helpful. I immediately booked the appointment. The staff that helped me with the initial test was great. Both ladies were very caring and informative. The quality of service is like no other. Dr. Nguyen is wonderful. He was very thorough with my exam, and he made me feel at ease with the entire process. One star was deducted because there is the office manager (I think), who loves to push people to get the add ons for the glasses. One in particular was the anti-glare. It was a tactic she uses, such as tacking it onto the amount and explain that amount includes blah blah blah blah. Patience then must have her break down the cost. When I straight up told her that I only use my glasses at night to maybe read/watch some tv prior to bed, she said she can give me a lower price for that service with a cheaper anti-glare. I once again repeated myself to let her understand that I DO NOT NEED THAT ANTI-GLARE SERVICE. There are also more charges at the office, however. But, I will return since Dr. Nguyen is an amazing doctor. read more

I came here for annual exams for my daughter and myself. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They had a pretty good selection of glasses but they were pretty expensive so I ended up only getting glasses for my daughter. The children selection of frames were sort of limited but my daughter was still able to find something she really liked. I will probably come back again next year for my next exam and will be ready for new glasses by then too. read more

Since I've had LASIK, I don't need tons of regular eye care so my regular exam is easy to schedule where I'm in and out with these guys. Dr. Lavine was amazing. She answered all my questions and took her time as she examined my daughter. My daughter needed new contacts and Dr. Lavine determined the best ones for her. My daughter is very happy with them. The reason I won't come back is due to the girl at the front desk. The one who goes through the pricing and placing the order. I forgot her name. Anyways, she was so nice and friendly until I said I didn't want to order a yearly supply of contacts and that I didn't want glasses for my daughter. Her whole demeanor changed. My daughter and I felt very uncomfortable. She made a comment about making sure to get my daughter glasses once she starts driving. My daughter just turned 11!! She has 5 years to go before she gets behind the wheel. What bothered me was that she made that comment with an attitude. I'm not sure if she makes commission off of the sale but if she needs commission that bad to the point of making customers uncomfortable then maybe she needs a different job. read more
