This place is awesome. I was very apprehensive seeing as how it had been so long since I had an eye exam. I was not looking forward to wearing glasses permanently. They handled with kid gloves. The optometrist was very sweet and professional. Her name was Casey. She was very patient. I have gotten so many compliments on my new look and I can see again. I had usually gone to Shepard Eye Center. I was due for my exam, and with 6 doctors at multiple locations, the soonest they could get me in was 2 months! I found out that Optic Gallery accepted my insurance, called them, and they got me in within 3 days!! The service was outstanding! Dr. Nguyen was great, and so was the staff. I was upsold on lenses, and there is a contact lense fitting fee, but it's a small price to pay. I chose to get the lenses that they recommended, and I choose to wear contacts too. Just waiting until I can be a candidate for LASIK. Overall, I highly recommend them. read more

Brand new to the office. Best part was the ability to get 5pm appt time. Check-in was easy. Only 3 quick pages to fill out. With a 5pm appt. I was finished and walked out by 5:45. The eye exams were explained well and the staff is super friendly. Once the exam was complete the staff explained what my insurance covered. They do accept 2 insurances. $275 in copays equals to ZERO functioning glasses at Optic Gallery. I visited the office to request a pair of prescription sunglasses back in May. I requested distance for driving and the ability to glance at my phone when needed. They recommended single vision glasses with Eyezen and polarized. When these glasses arrived i couldn't even see thru them. It was like everything was fluid. They repeated the lens order just to have the same effect. Finally i saw the doctor again to check my prescription and the doctor seemed somewhat baffled why eyezen was referred by optician. The doctor double checked the prescription and recommended progressive lenses. When i received the progressives i had to wear them on the tip of my nose to see clearly which is kind of pointless with sunglasses, the dashboard in my car was blurry, and the movement of walking made me dizzy. When i returned to Optic Gallery after struggling with the glasses for a week. I was told if i want another pair i have to pay for new lenses. I told them it's not my fault they were upselling me things that weren't even meant for long distance. After spending $275 out of pocket i should be able to have glasses i can wear. They insisted i leave the store since they already told me they would not remake the lenses. read more

I have been dreading getting glasses for years now. I will admit I've known for a while that I needed them but just avoided the whole process. Not rational but that's what it was. The whole process here was great though! The ladies at reception and the woman that put me through the first tests made it really easy. I was BLOWN AWAY when the doctor showed me how I could see with my prescription The true MVP has to be Jaimie though! She was so much fun and even though I was dreading wearing glasses but she really made it fun and helped me stick to frames that would actually flatter my face instead of feeling like I had to try on the entire store! Doc was great and told me I have been misdiagnosed basically for the last few years with an astigmatism. Turns out my eyes are just not looking where they're supposed to. This has been my family's optical place for years now, they have wide collection of frames and contact lenses. The people who works here are very nice and helpful. They accept most insurance as well. They're location is nicely situated at the district where there are numerous place to go to after your eye check up.
