I have a receipt showing the item has been paid for over a week ago. Get an email this week saying its not paid. I'm a VERY experienced collector and am quite familiar with the laws and regulations. Optics Planet sent me a form to fill out after purchasing an auto knife. When I responded with questions about the form, their response was to cancel my order with no explanation. It took me following up, threading to post HERE for someone to respond with a boiler plate management response that failed to address my concerns, offered a half-hearted "apology" and tried to go deep in the weeds on their processes and rules rather than just owning their employees should have taken the time to explain. These people have turned the ordering "risk management" process into a beaurocratic nightmare. Go buy products literally anywhere else that doesn't put you through this process. Management refuses to own when employees make mistakes and hide behind risk management policies. They're also very dishonest about deals, inventory and discounts. They'll offer a "blazing deal" on a product, only to hike up shipping. BUYER BEWARE! What you will likely see in response to my post, as they do in so many others, is respond with something that seems great like "we're sorry to hear about this experience. wish I could give negative stars!!!!!! look I'm sure some people have had good experiences with optics planet but this is the first and last time I will ever purchase anything from optics planet. I ordered a red dot sight and flashlight lazer combo for my pistol. I did not go cheap either... i live 4 hours from the facility. both arrived at my home 4 days later. Cool great! my light lazer combo works just fine but the sig enclosed red dot was not cheap, made in America and was trash out of the box! Was thinking of going with halosun but it's made in china... no thanks. Mounted optic, fired pistol and optic turned off! Mind you this is for my concealed carry weapon! This is supposed to potentially help save my life one day. I figured I'd change the battery. Did so and fired again and same thing... furious I called and they said return it and they would send me another one. They want you too print out a return label and a bunch of other BS... oh also make damn sure you keep all original labels, recipe, parts,bags, box and packaging or else you are SOL they will charge you or not do the exchange all together. So I send optic back. waited a week, no response so I called. Oh we're sorry about that sir yeah whatever no you're not. Then they tell me since I mounted the optic they couldn't do an exchange because it's considered a used product!!! WTF!!!! Ok so imagine this I said! WORST company I have EVER worked with! I have spent over 7k with them in the last 6 months alone, and all the sudden on my most recent order, through MY Optics Planet account mind you they put a new address for my packages, then proceeded to ship $1,348.67 in MY paid for products to said new address. When I called I waited on hold for 30min to get some completely uncaring individual named Jason who tells me... (I messaged a supervisor, and they said it's not our problem). I have explained to Jason he can look at my account have I ever in the last 15 orders shipped any place but my home!? Again I'm told not our problem! I am so disgusted by this company! Optics Planet is by far the worst retailer I have ever dealt with. I ordered a buffer weight and a bolt carrier group. A week later I received a package containing the buffer weigh. A few days later out of curiosity I checked the tracking information to see where the bolt carrier group was and saw that it was supposed to be in the same package as the buffer weight which it was not. When I reached out to the company they wanted pictures of the damage to the package ( there was no damage which I explained and that I had already recycled the cardboard) they have been emailing back and forth with me for a week and a half now still wanting pictures of the packaging and have still not shipped the product I paid for read more

Avoid this seller. I purchased several items as Xmas gifts and they never arrived. The tracking showed that the parcel was lost, not moving for a couple of weeks. When I inquired with USPS, they declared a few days later that they had probably lost the package or it had been damaged and could not be delivered. I contacted Optics Planet no less than ten times on live chat and also email. All I got was runaround. And that they were sorry I was disappointed. Not as sorry as I was. After five weeks and getting zero help from Optics Planet, whose customer service appears to be in Ukraine, I went to my bank and had the charges reversed on my credit card.
