I've used Optimal Movers twice now and both times I was beyond impressed with his fast, efficient, kind and professional John and his entire team both times were. I found myself needing to move my things into storage very suddenly and got so caught up in packing things into boxes, etc, that I waited until the last minute to hire a moving company. I requested & received quotes from about 10 companies the night before I wanted to move and Optimal Movers still offered the best and most competitive rate for a last minute move. John & two of his team arrived early the next morning and hit the ground running right out of the gate and never slowed down until the job was finished later that evening. I hired John again when it was time to move everything out of storage and again, he & his team arrived early and worked tirelessly through-out the entire day. A lot of these moving companies say that they treat your belongings as if they were their own, which we all know is just a tagline and really a bunch of crap, but Optimal Movers is the one and only company I've ever come across that actually proves that tagline to be true! John, Ross, and Jose were awesome! They arrived in good spirits and worked hard all day. I was very anxious while trying to select a moving company only based on reviews. I've lived in my current location for over seven years and was super anxious about having to move everything. I liked Optimal from the beginning because John was in the photos, responded to the posts and also answered the phone when I called. It gave me piece of mind to know I wasn't going through a switchboard, but had a direct contact and that I could even put a face to the name. Optimal came in at the right price and exceeded expectations through out our move. John was responsive from the initial contact and always replied within an hour or two. We made two stops on our move and filled the entire truck to the brim, they gave us no hassle or attitude. It was a pleasure to work on the along side them. They arrived with plenty of tape, blankets and shrinkwrap for all of our stuff. We rocked out to Spotify while moving along and Jose and I sang along together! When some shady characters pulled up next to our moving van in the alley to dig through the trash, the guys were very good about keeping an eye on all of our things. Great moving company! Movers was nice and professional handling my big furnitures by protecting them with blankets. No scratches , no broken things after finished unpacking. They quoted me very competitive price, compared to big moving companies I guess. It was all inclusive packing materials like shrink wrap,tapes, wardrobe boxes for free use as well! Other moving companies wanted to charge me $30-60 for plastic wrap per roll. After reserving the date, they confirmed 1 day before the move. On the moving day they gave me 2 hour window to come. The movers called me 30 minutes before to come , which was nice and they arrived on the earlier time frame. Two movers showed up with big truck and tools to move our 2 bedroom apartment from North Hollywood to Los Angeles. Everything was packed except furnitures ,beds and glasses. They took apart the beds and put them together where we wanted them, which was nice. Everything arrived safe and no broken items. We were very pleased with the movers Jose and Adam did a great job and we tipped them. It took 8 hours to finish the job, it would take us to do the move probably a week:) Very satisfied and recommend them to my friends. read more

I'm a single female who has never hired movers before so I was nervous about selecting a company that I could trust. I was fortunate that I made the decision to go with Optimal Movers. My movers, John and Cyril were great to work with, very polite, conscientious, accommodating, and very patient. We had to have them do a double move, in fact. My roommate, unfortunately, was out of state (death in the family) and we had to coordinate her move too. She had too many items for our new apartment so John and Cyril came on their day off on a Sunday to help move her extra boxes into a storage unit. Their rates were very fair and competitive. They accidentally double booked me and had to change my start time to the afternoon and because of that, I was able to negotiate a lower rate (which they kept for the second move to the storage unit). I did have an old bookcase shelf break - which I don't fault them for breaking - and John refunded me $50 to replace it (which is more than fair). I would definitely recommend them. read more

Was moving from LA to the Bay Area and needed help moving a 3 bedroom house worth of things. As a new first time parent, moving during a pandemic, things were very stressful. I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience, as John and the team were total professionals. We had a free estimation meeting to go over the critical elements of the move and the particular challenging items and was provided a flat rate which is excellent and differentiating from the other movers I looked into. John reached out to me the day before the move go confirm and he and the team arrived within scheduled time block. The team put fantastic care into protecting fragile items with blankets and wrapping. And disassembled and reassembled large furniture smoothly and efficiently. John was quick to respond from the start, and able to adjust to my change of date with only a couple days notice. He called when he was 25 minutes out to let me know when he would be arriving; which was right on time. As I was promised 3 guys showed up, and they were eager to get started right away. Things were a bit disorganized on our end when they arrived, and no problem - they handled it like champs! I needed them to take a load to my storage as well, and they were happy to do so. They handled everything with care and accounted for any special needs. They disassembled and reassembled furniture as needed. They were polite, clean, patient, and hard working. I have never had a better move. I've hired movers in multiple cities (New York, SF, LA). Have used full service white glove (paid for by my employer) and as well as small local companies. Have never had a better moving experience than optimal. I paid this move out of pocket so I can also say that they were very well priced. They had all needed supplies and boxes, they were hyper efficient but also so careful. Absolutely nothing broke and nothing was lost. No scuffs or scratches on walls. When they took down the tvs they wrapped the screws that went with each tv in plastic wrap with the mounting brackets so they could easily be found. That's the kind of attention you only appreciate when you are unpacking a few days later. Can't recommend them enough and will be recommending them to all my friends read more

So these guys are great. Came highly recommended from a friend, and their pricing was the most straightforward quote I'd gotten after calling a few places which was refreshing. When it came time to pay there were no hidden fees or anything like that either. The move went as smooth as a move could go; they were very communicative with us about everything and I never once felt like I had to be concerned about the handling of our belongings. They were efficient and professional, but also very friendly. They went above and beyond in helping us bring a few pieces of furniture to the trash. OMG! This company is fantastic! Great customer service from star to finish ! I found them through yelp and was also referred to them by my good friend. I called in and spoke to manager. She gave me a quote over the phone and answered all my questions. She was honest and told me I should go with 5 movers verses 4 because I have tons of stairs leading to my home. That had definitely saves me money and time. Our foreman was Ivan, he was phenomenal. He truly made sure that everyone on the team was doing what they were supposed to. My experience with Optimal movers, was really great, i was very impressed by the way, they protected My household item's. I moved from Burbank to Santa Monica City, nothing was broken, they even provided wardrobes for all my clothing. They were very clear on howi to help take care of the bedrooms in my house. I let the movers pack everything, it was great to wach the workers pack everything with no rush, at all. I have a lot of fragile items such as dishes, pictues potery pots that I make, so when the move was all done, when I unpacked everything nothing at all was broken. These movers are amazing, We moved 2 bedroom apartment from Beverly Hills to Sherman Oaks With Optimal movers. Movers were professional , handled our big dining table with no problem. Nothing was damaged os scratched. Movers disassembled and reassembled 2 beds. Their pricing was very fair comparing to some moving companies, I called. All wrapping supplies were included, No B.S. So this was my sister's first move by herself ever and we are very pleased how it turned out. Optimal movers are very friendly, polite and easy to deal with from the office stuff to the moving crew. They arrived on time and finished the job in less than the estimated time. All 3 members were very professional and didn't waste any time. My sister's biggest fear was moving the furniture since we've read a lot of reviews about furniture damage some moving companies cause, but our movers even used blankets(!!!) around the most fragile and dear to heart furniture pieces, so my sister could breathe with relief. John and his team were exceptionally accommodating with my last minute needs to relocate my 1 bedroom apartment from LA to San Francisco. They helped me carefully crate a very high-priced marble dining table in a custom wooden crate they sourced. And, packed up all of my furniture with care and supplies as requested for the move up to the Bay Area. I met with John and the team the following day in SF and they even went beyond the job to carry items up 7 flights of stairs when the elevator broke down unexpectedly! John and Jose were amazing in helping me move my one bedroom apartment to two different locations, and were on point and attentive to which items went to each location.
